Everyone in the hall looked equally as mortified, no one clapped. Sophia knew Harry hadn't put his name in, she was sat there confused and shocked.

"I didn't put my name in!" Harry expressed,

"We know Harry" she replied, looking straight at him, Dumbledore called out his name once more, and Hermione urged him up. Harry was ushered through a door and he was gone.

"Wonder how he managed it..." Fred asked, looking amazed, Sophia looked over at him.

"He didn't, I don't know what's going on..." Fred laughed slightly and pulled her closer, she looked up at him and he smiled.

"Course he did, who else would've put his name in?" He replied, Sophia didn't have an answer for this, Hermione was already theorising as to how Harry's name ended up in the goblet whereas Ron seemed very jealous. "Blimey, only wish he'd told us! Maybe we could've entered too" Sophia rolled her eyes, "oh come don't give me that" he smiled, leaning closer to her,

They were then all sent up to bed, Sophia didn't like the party in the common room, it felt wrong.

"Come on Goldie, come dance" Fred offered her his hand, and as upset and confused as she was, she couldn't say no, she took his hand and he started spinning her around. A smile crept onto her face as they danced, she never wanted to leave his arms. Her eyes locked onto his and she went a bright shade of red, he leaned in closer to her. Then the portrait hole opened, Sophia turned and saw Harry standing there.

Instantly she rushed forward to hug him,

"I didn't put my name in" he hurriedly told her, she nodded,

"I know" she replied, he breathed a sigh of relief. But no one else believed him, Fred kept questioning Harry about how he did it, only to shut up after being told to by Sophia. They managed to find a quiet spot where Harry told her everything.

"But who would put your name in....?" She questioned, Harry shrugged.

"Someone who wants me dead" Sophia looked down, she really had no idea,

"Well, there's the obvious answer... but it can't be him.... Can it?" Harry shook his head, agreeing that it couldn't,

"Where're Ron and Hermione?"

"Already went to bed, we thought one of us should be up to meet you" she answered, Harry smiled and put his arm around her shoulders.

"Thank you" he replied, and with that they both decided to go to bed,

The next morning, Hermione and Sophia both went to meet Harry and he filled Hermione in on everything that had happened, she had no idea who could have submitted Harry either, but claimed it couldn't have been a student.

They then discussed Ron's jealously, Sophia understood why he was jealous, anyone would but she also understood why Harry was upset.

The Hufflepuffs were incredibly cold toward Harry once lessons restarted, Sophia didn't understand. Why couldn't people just accept he hadn't entered himself?

"Did he really do it then?" Cedric asked her, running up to in the corridor to accompany her to her lesson,

"No! Of course not, he told you as much" she folded her arms, Cedric laughed slightly. She glared up at him,

"Sorry Soph, but it's a little hard to believe, who would put Harry's name in there other than someone he asked?" Sophia didn't have the answer to that, but she knew that Harry didn't either,

"Harry doesn't know who did it, and that's something that needs changing" Cedric sighed and nodded slightly,

"Alright... I'm still not convinced but I'll try and get the badgers to warm up" he smiled, Sophia smiled at him

"Thank you" she could've sworn he went slightly pink , but she didn't have time to ponder much on it before hurrying off to Herbology.

Herbology was spent with Sophia and Hermione sat between Harry and Ron awkwardly trying to gage a conversation between the four of them, it wasn't fun.

Care of Magical Creatures meant having to deal with her brother, as expected he made snide comments toward Harry. Which only annoyed them.

They were told they'd be walking Skrewts. Sophia didn't like the sound of this but did it nevertheless.

As she passed Cedric, he had a crowd of girls fawning over him, Sophia laughed slightly,

"Help Me" he mouthed to her as he continued to be swarmed,

"See you in potions" she smiled at Harry and Hermione before running over, "hey Ced" the girls all stared at her, eyes wide.

"Soph! Hi!" Annoyed they all stalked off, she carried on laughing, "it's not funny, it's terrifying. You know one of them asked me to sign their bag. We've had lessons together since first year" she continued laughing,

"Oh I'm sorry but it is too funny" she said in between fits of laughter,

"You know, I'm kind of wishing the ruse was still alive right now" she gave him an almost sorrowful look, they couldn't restart that ruse, she was so close to getting Fred,

"Ask Cho out, she's bound to say yes" he looked down,

"I want to wait until the time is right, but these fangirls are really annoying me" Sophia smiled,

"You'll survive, you're a champion Cedric" he laughed slightly and then offered to walk her to her lesson, she accepted and they continued their conversation. Whilst they walked, she noticed Fred see them as he entered his lesson, a glare on his face, Sophia quickly tried to forget that event.

Draco wore 'Potter Stinks' badges which also showed their support for Cedric in potions, as did his lackeys. But Sophia tried to ignore it, until Draco called Hermione a Mudblood once more, but Harry beat her to an attack, his curse missed and hit Goyle, whilst Draco's hit Hermione.

Sophia instantly attempted to check on her, her teeth were growing at an alarming rate, Sophia's eyes widened in horror and she was about to attack Draco when Snape appeared,

"Malfoy got Hermione!" Ron shouted, but Snape looked at her teeth said,

"I see no difference" Hermione ran off crying and Sophia prioritised finding her over insulting Snape,

"Oh 'Mione!" She called and kept running after her best friend, Hermione rushed into a bathroom, her teeth had stopped growing. Sophia pulled her closer and hugged her tight, "you want me to to kill Snape? Because I will" she rubbed her best friends back, Hermione laughed slightly.

They spent the rest of the day in the Hospital Wing,

Sophia found it quite funny that Rita Skeeter had reported that Harry was, 'torn between two stunningly pretty witches', Pansy had made some rude comments about Hermiome which caused Sophia to hex her, she got away with it.

A few weeks later, Harry told Sophia he was meeting with Sirius and that she should come, because he wanted to see her too,  he'd also told her the first task was dragons,

Sirius reminded her Karkaroff was a Death Eater and she also face planted herself, how could she have missed that.

Sirius told them about everything he'd been suspicious of, he'd been about to tell Harry how to beat the dragons, then Ron had come down the stairs,

Sophia found their argument to be extremely annoying,

"Oh for fucks sake! Can you two just make up already!" They kept arguing, Sophia gave up and went to bed herself,

Sophia had been eating breakfast with Fred, where she thought they were both flirting with one another an awful lot before she was dragged off by Harry to further discuss the events of the previous night,

They tried to figure out how to subdue a dragon but nothing came to mind,

Hermione began rambling about spells and different methods as they sat in the library, Sophia had nearly fallen asleep.

The next day, Harry had dragged Sophia off, claiming he needed to talk to Cedric,

"Okay then talk to him..." she rolled her eyes and went to walk off but Harry pulled her back,

"I can't just go up and talk to him! But you can...." Sophia groaned, "come on, you used to snog him... and you can't say that was fake, we all had to witness it...." Sophia did have to admit Cedric Diggory was an excellent kisser and she'd rather enjoyed kissing him,

"Fine!" Sophia walked up to the group of sixth years, smiling. "Hey Ced" he turned and smiled at her,

"Looking good Sophia!" One his friends called, Sophia rolled her eyes slightly, a few others chorused similar things.

"Okay guys leave her alone" Cedric glared at them slightly,

"She's not your girlfriend anymore! We can all flirt" another shouted and winked at her before he ran off, he turned back around,

"If you still like her better ask fast, lots of people like her!" Another called before he walked away,

"Sorry about them..." Cedric sighed, Sophia laughed slightly, she didn't like the attention she often got, but she was used to it,

"It's fine..."

"What's the matter? Only we've both got places to be..." Harry then rushed over and started telling Cedric about the task, Cedric looked at her, looking for her confirmation and she nodded,

Then they were caught out by Moody, Sophia was dismissed to her lesson, she shot Harry a hopeful glance as he was forced off,

"Is he in trouble?" Cedric asked her, he'd been kind enough to walk her to her lesson and claim that she had helped him with task preparations in case Sprout had a problem with her being late,

"I doubt it" Sophia answered, she looked up at Cedric,

"You know, I heard Fred coming up with a big plan the other day" she eyed him,

"and what plan would that be?"

"A firework display, to ask someone on a date" she went red and smiled, "personally, I think our plan was very successful"

"It was, but you need to stop being a chicken about asking Cho out!" He feigned offence as they continued their walk, Sophia found herself laughing,

"I told you, I'm waiting for the right time" he smiled down at her, they were nearing the greenhouses now, "and this is where I must bid you goodbye" she laughed once more, he handed her her books. Sprout seemed like she was going to scold Sophia but her anger dissipated when she saw Sophia talking to Cedric.

Harry had decided he needed to learn the summoning charm, Sophia had finally managed to get it a week or two ago, but she wasn't much use as a teacher, but she attempted to help Hermione teach Harry nevertheless.

They wished Harry luck for the first task as he was dragged off during lunch,

Sophia and Hermione sat watching the first task, both incredibly anxious. Sophia had to say she was more anxious, she had multiple friends in the tournament. Hermione had one.

Cedric went first, Sophia's breath caught her throat and Fred grunted from beside her,

"Hope he gets his head ripped off" Fred glared at the pitch, which made George whisper something about 'competition' and caused Sophia to roll her eyes at them before continuing feeling anxious about her friend's safety.

As he entered the pitch, there a loud round of applause and cheering.

"He'll be fine...." Hermione whispered, grabbing onto her hand. She nodded slight but couldn't help but worry. Cedric then transfigured a rock into a dog and the dragon began to chase it. He made for the egg but the dragon realised what he was doing and circled back to him, burning his face, but he got the egg none the less.

As Cedric got the egg, Sophia let out a breath she didn't know she'd been holding,

"You know, that relationship is seeming less and less fake everyday" Hermione smirked, Sophia rolled her eyes. Cedric Diggory was her friend nothing more, yes a friend that she had enjoyed kissing but still just a friend all the same.

"We're just friends, good friends. That's it" she replied, "it's like how we are with Harry" Hermione nodded, not entirely believing her.

"I wish he'd gotten his head ripped off" Fred grumbled, Sophia smirked slightly, Fred was jealous and she didn't even have to continue the ruse.

Fleur and Krum also completed the task, then it was Harry's turn. Sophia was more anxious than she'd been earlier. He shouted for the firebolt and it flew to him, Sophia and Hermione began cheering.

Once Harry got the egg, they ran to check on him.

"Oh Harry! You were brilliant!" Hermione smiled,

"Oh you really were!" She added, Harry and Ron then finally became friends again,

They watched Harry's scoring,

Eight.

Nine.

Nine.

Ten.

They all looked shocked and celebrated,

Then a four, from Karkaroff.

"You're tied in first place Harry with Krum!" Charlie told them as he ran over, he then said he had to tell Mrs Weasley what happened, and Sophia was reminded to check on her other friend.

She followed Harry into the tent and saw a smile form on Cedric's face, he had a mass of orange paste on his face, she guessed it was mending the burn.

Tentatively, she approached him,

"It looks worse than it is" he joked, Sophia laughed slightly before throwing her arms around his neck and hugging him, he'd laughed before hugging her back. "I'm okay, I swear" he replied, then Ludo Bagman entered and explained the text task. The eggs would reveal a clue if they could get them to open,

Sophia had said goodbye to Cedric before hurrying off with Harry back to the castle, Rita Skeeter asked for a word,

"Goodbye" was all Harry gave her and they made their way back to castle,
