I got a bird today! His name is Corvus (it's a constellation and also Corvus means raven in Latin and ravens are birds so why not?) and he's an asshole, but I already love him a lot.

This is him sleeping in his cage rn, and the rest of the pictures are from earlier today. He's a sun conure, he's 11 months old and was the last one that the shop we went to had. He stayed the longest bc he's an asshole and bites everyone. He's already bitten my dad till he bled, and he left a mark on me after getting me once too, but like. He really is a sweet little guy.

It seems like he just wants attention, cause I left him in his cage for a bit after he fell asleep, assuming he'd just rest for a while cause he's still getting used to new surroundings. But when he woke up a little bit later he started screaming, so I went to get him out and he just stayed with me and my sister and dad for a while. I like him a lot, and I'm really happy. Also he gives people kisses and can play dead and it's so cute!!! I love him. Anyways here's some pictures of him

I'm still a little nervous about him climbing on my shoulder and stuff, only bc he likes to pull on my ear piercings and that hurts. He also likes to try and bite peoples freckles, which I've got a lot of. But like, I'm super excited to finally have a bird and I already am so glad to have him even if he's a little mean right now, I'm sure that over time he'll get more used to us and he'll bite us less. Hopefully, at least, but like even if he doesn't I like him. He's cool.

I also finished setting a part of my room up, so that's nice!

Honestly just getting the posters and star lights up have made me feel a lot more like I'm at home here. Cause before it was kinda just... I dunno, it just didn't feel right. Cause I've moved a ton the last six months, so it just felt like another temporary thing, even though I knew it wasn't. But now I feel a bit better about it and I'm glad. I'm also planning to paint a moon and some stars on my wall soon, so that'll be cool once I get that done. I was hoping to get it done today, but I went to bed super late last night cause I wasn't feeling good again, and then I woke up super early bc my dad called me to tell me they had found me a bird they wanted me to go see in the pet store. So yeah, I didn't sleep much and I'm exhausted.

I actually keep nearly falling asleep as I'm writing in this, so I'm gonna get up and do something to wake myself up more. My aunt should be coming over soon so I really can't sleep rn lol.

I probably am going to continue to be awful at updating and answering messages for a bit by the way, I still am just. Not doing good. I swear I don't mean to ignore anyone, I just.... really, really don't feel good, and I don't feel super up to talking, but I will try my best.
