she danced with the fireworks

and kissed the moon in the sky

she strolled down paraded streets

made lofty goals with her friends

she had a grand time until

the clock struck midnight

as the second day came

she knew what will come

her heart will become cold

and the nights long and lonely

as everyone moves on and

forget their promises to her
