So...... I'm bored. As usual..... Anyway, I couldn't think of what to write for this chapter so all of you reading this can thank Samantha-chan for giving me an idea. I'm sorry that chapters have been short but I will try to make this one longer if I can.

Len's P.O.V

Rin and I just got home from school. It's tomorrow night is the dance and Rin is freaking out. It's like she just realized that she has to sing. Our dad is still gone. He's not supposed to be back till Saturday and today is Thursday.

"Len I'm scared I don't wanna sing tomorrow." Rin said. We were sitting on the couch in the tv room. We have a movie theater tv on the wall.

"Rin you realize you can't back out on this right? And you've already said that like fifteen times." I said.

"I know but, that doesn't make me feel any better...." I smiled which caused her to be confused.

"Maybe this will help." I said then leaned over and kissed her lips. She was surprised but didn't push me away. She likes when I kiss her. I continued to kiss her longer than I normally would and she liked it. This lasted about ten minutes and when we pulled away from each other we were both breathing heavily. Rin blushed and turned away.

"Why do you always turn away from me, Rin?" I turned her back towards me. She blushed again.

"I don't know...."

"Do you feel better now?"

"Yeah."

"That's good." This is random but I wanna go swimming.... "Hey Rin you wanna go to the beach?"

She was surprised that I asked that so suddenly. "No. Not really." She mumbled.

"Why not? You love swimming?"

"Well, .... I guess we can let's go. I'll run upstairs and get our swimsuits and towels." Rin said then dashed out of the room.

Rin's P.O.V

I ran upstairs as fast as I could. He's right. I do love swimming. So why did I say I didn't want to go? I don't know. I guess it feels different now that we're dating, its kinda awkward for him to see me in a swimsuit. I wear a bikini so now that I think about it I realize I'm practically naked....  I shook that thought away and grabbed our stuff then went back downstairs. Len was waiting by the front door.

"I let one of the maids know where were going and called Miku to see if she wants to come. She's gonna meet us there. I hope that's okay?"

"Yeah that's fine. I was gonna invite her anyway." I said. He smiled. He must have been worried that I'd be mad. It'll be nice to have a girl there though.

We had made it to the beach and took turns changing in the car, then we walked over onto the sand.

"Guys over here!" Miku called. She was standing near the water waving her arms at us. We ran over to her and laid out towels down in the sand next to here's.

"Hey Miku. How are you?" I asked.

"Good. I love swimming!" Miku said. "Let's get in the water then." She ran and jumped in splashing Len and I in the process. We ran and jumped in too and the three of us swam around for about an hour.

I stopped swimming and laid down on my towel. I always start to feel sick after swimming for awhile.

"I'll be right back I'm going to buy some snacks." Miku said. She climbed out of the water and left wet footprints as she ran away. Len crawled over to me but I had my eyes closed and didn't see him coming.

"Boo!" Len said. My eyes shot open and he was leaning over me smiling.

"Why'd you scare me!?"

"Because you looked so peaceful. I decided it would be the perfect time to scare you."

"You're such an idiot." I said and closed my eyes again. Len moved so he was right above me then kissed me. Miku came back right as he did that, but she wasn't alone.

"Omg eww! You guys are twins that's so wrong!" Neru yelled. She's in our class. Len quickly jumped off of me surprised by her yelling so suddenly.

Miku's P.O.V

I ran over to the small building near the beach's exit. There are drinks and chip bags sold here. Some other stuff like that.  I went up to the counter and bought a bag of chips then started to go back by Rin and Len when I saw another girl from my class. It was Akita Neru.

"Hi Miku! What're you doing here?" She asked.

"I'm here with Rin and Len. Our stuff is right over there." I pointed to where Rin and Len were sitting.

"Can I hang out with you guys?"

"Yeah sure. C'mon." I motioned with my hand for her to follow me and she did. We headed back towards Rin and Len. When we got close to them Len was on top of Rin and he kissed her.

"OMG eww! That's so wrong you guys are twins!" Neru yelled. Len quickly moved off of Rin. It was obvious that they hadn't heard us coming and Neru had scared him.

"Wait Neru I can explain!" Len said. Rin glared at Neru. Obviously she didn't want Neru to know their secret.

"What's there to explain? You just kissed your sister I saw it happen. You're creepy." Neru said and she ran off.

"Why?" Len mumbled and fell back down into the sand.

"Can we go home Len?" Rin asked. He sat up and nodded yes.

"We'll see you tomorrow Miku." Len said. I told them goodbye and they left.

Len's P.O.V

I hope Neru doesn't tell anyone what she saw.

When Rin and I walked into the house we were still in our swimsuits. We had decided to wait to change until we were home. We were about to go upstairs when dad walked over.

Wait. Dad? When did he get home?

"Hey guys. Did you have fun at the beach?" He asked.

"Yeah but when did you get home? I thought you weren't supposed to be back till tomorrow." I asked.

"I finished early so I came back to surprise you. I have someone I want you to meet." He opened the door behind him and said something to whoever was back there. A few seconds later a tall woman with long blond hair came out with.....Neru!?

(A/N: I should stop here but I'll be nice and keep going. It'd be a great cliffhanger though)

"Neru!? What's she doing here?" Rin yelled. Neru had been texting but she looked up when she heard Rin's voice.

"Mom! You didn't tell me they were your boyfriend's kids!" Neru said.

"BOYFRIEND!!" Rin and I both looked at dad confused.

"Yes this is Lily and her daughter Neru. Lily is my fiance." Dad said.

"WHAT!"

"Please stop yelling."

"How dare you try to replace Mom!" Rin yelled, her eyes filled with tears. She ran upstairs and we could hear her bedroom door slam shut. I need to comfort Rin but I need to straighten this out first.

"Rin come back down here now!" Dad yelled.

"No! I won't! Leave me alone!" She screamed back. I could almost hear her tears. Dad sighed.

"Please explain." I turned to dad. I was angry now.

"This is Lily. I met her about two years ago but I was afraid to introduce her to you guys because I knew Rin would react that way, but when we decided to get married I had to tell you so I brought her here. Neru is her daughter who I guess you already know. I don't see what's so wrong with any of this."

"I'll tell you what's wrong. Your kids are creepy! I saw them kiss earlier today that's so wrong!" Neru said. Dad sighed again and put his hand over his face.

"They aren't actually twins or even related at all. They just for some reason don't like telling people that. Len's parents and Rin's mother were killed a long time ago. I adopted Len after that."

"So they lied to the whole school! Wait till everyone hears about this." Neru looked back down at her phone.

"Wait Neru. Don't tell anyone Rin is already upset. She doesn't like when people find out about that so please keep it a secret." I begged her.

"Fine. But you can't stop me from telling everyone about your kiss earlier and they're gonna get the wrong idea."

"I don't care. She'd like that better than people knowing her secrets."

"Fine." Neru looked back at her phone ignoring the world while she texted all her friends. I ran upstairs to comfort Rin.

I walked into her room but she wasn't there. I noticed that the door to her balcony was open and went to see if she was out there. She was. I saw her standing at the edge of the balcony leaning over the white rail. She was trying hard but she couldn't keep her tears away. I hugged her from behind which surprised her for a second but then she leaned back into me.

"Wh-what took you so l-long to follow m-me?" She asked. I could tell she was desperately trying to stop her tears from falling.

"I was talking with dad. I wanted to chase after you right away but I had to learn what I could about Lily. Rin, I don't think Lily is trying to replace your mom. I don't think dad is trying to replace her either."

"So you're taking his side then. This whole thing is okay with you?"

"No. I'm not any happier about this than you are. I just don't think anyone is being replaced." Rin let out a breath she must have been holding in.

"You're right. I know I overreacted. I feel bad about it too, I mean you lost both of your parents I always make such a fuss..."

"It doesn't bother me if you cry because you miss her Rin. Don't be afraid to cry. Some people say crying makes you look weak, but I think it shows just how strong you really are." Rin turned around and hugged me when I said that. We heard a knock at the balcony door.

"Can I talk to you guys?" Lily asked. I nodded not wanting to be rude and she came over to stand next to me. Rin held tightly to my shirt and kept her face buried in my chest. Refusing to look at Lily.

"I want you to know that I will never replace your mother. I never wanted to. I'm glad to finally meet you two. Your father never stops talking about how wonderful you are." Lily said.

"He's not really home enough to know us." I said.

"Are you saying you're bad kids?"

"No! I just wish he'd be around more...."

"Well, if it's okay with you, then after your father and I are married,  I'd like to stay here with you when he goes on business trips instead of going with. Would that be alright?"

"Yeah I guess."

"What do you say Rin?" Rin didn't answer.

"Say something Rin." I whispered so only Rin could hear.

"I don't want Neru to be my sister." Rin mumbled. "And I bet Papa sent you up here to talk to us and told you what to say."

Lily thought for a second then answered. "I know you and Neru don't get along very well but friendships take time. The three of you don't need to be best friends, but I'm sure you'll get along just fine. Also, you're father told me it was a bad idea to come talk to you. He said that Len is the only one who knows how to calm you down when you're upset, but I decided I should try to talk with you anyway because I really want to be friends with you two. We're going to be together a long time so it'd be no fun if we fought a lot right?"

"I guess. I'm sorry for flipping out." Rin said. She turned around and her eyes were still filled with tears but she smiled.

Yay! Longest chapter ever! I spent almost all day yesterday trying to write this and then had to finish it in the car on the way home from school so it took awhile. I don't know if this makes me sound lazy but this is probably one of the longest chapters I've ever written. I'm going to try to write more chapters this long though. I need ideas for the dance please! And please tell me what you thought of this chapter since there was more interesting stuff happening this time!
