Rin's POV

"Rin wake up!" Len shook me. I sat up slowly and rubbed my eyes.  I looked at the clock which read 9:30 a.m.

"Shouldn't we be at school?" I said.

"No. Dad says we can take a few days off so you can relax after what happened."

"Oh. Then why are you waking me up? Let me sleep in."

"Nope. You have to get up and get dressed. You and me are going out for breakfast."

"Like a date?"

"Yep." Len grinned. A smile spread across my face as well.

"Alright. Get outta my room so I can get dressed!" I said. I got up and pushed Len out the door of my room then closed the door and ran over to my closet.

It's pretty warm out for the end of February so I picked a light yellow tank top and jeans. I quickly dressed and went downstairs to meet Len.

"You ready?" He asked.

"Yep! Let's go." 

Len and I went hand in hand out to the limo. The same one we always take to school. The driver was waiting and holding they door open for us to get in. We got in and he closed the door behind us. A minute later the limo started moving.

"Do you like the food?" Len asked. We had sat down in a nearby restaurant and our food just got here.

"First of all Len, we've been here before so I already know I like it. Second, it just got here so if I hadn't had it before how am I supposed to have eaten enough already to know if I like it?"

"Right. Sorry. I didn't think about it. Just thought of something random to say I guess."

"Hmm... What did you do when I was gone?"

"Mostly sitting in your room either crying because I missed you or crying because I was scared you'd get hurt."

"How come you were in my room instead of yours?" I took a sip of my orange juice.

"B-because well.... I don't really have a reason I guess I just liked it better in there."

"How come you weren't out looking for me?"

"I was out looking a lot! I even started yelling at a police officer because they practically gave up looking for you."

"You didn't get in trouble did you!?"

"No."

"Good. I was kidding when I said you should've been out looking Len. I know you were and I'm glad you were but I don't want you to get hurt or in trouble because of me."

"I would die for you, Rin. Getting hurt or in trouble is nothing."

"That's so sweet of you.... thank you, Len."

"Well, I love you. If you got hurt I don't know what I'd do."

Gumi's POV (I thought I should add in some side stories)

"Hey Miku, I'm worried about Rin and Len. They've missed a lot of school recently do you think something's wrong?" I asked. I am currently having a sleepover at Miku's house and we had decided to take a walk through the forest behind her house.

"I'm sure they're fine. Maybe they caught the flu or something."

"Yeah maybe... didn't Rin's dad and Neru's mom get married a few days ago?"

"I think so, why?"

"Well, Neru hasn't been coming to school either so maybe it's a family thing?"

"Maybe. They might be spending some time to help Neru and her mom get settled into the house."

"I wish I could live in their house... It's huge! That big black gate at the entrance makes it kinda scary though...like a haunted house."

"Yes. I agree completely."

"So, what do you think of the new kid the teachers say will be coming next week?"

"I don't know. It's cool that we'll have a new student but it's hard to say how I feel about it when we know nothing about this person! They won't even tell us if it's a boy or a girl!"

"I can answer that question. I overheard some of the teachers talking when I walked past the office earlier today."

"Really? Boy or girl which is it?"

"Boy."

"Do you think he'll be cute?"

"Miku! You have a boyfriend!"

"So? I can still say a guy is cute and see if he's good enough for my friends!"

Hey guys! Sorry I didn't update yesterday I had a ton of homework this weekend! I'm actually putting off the homework I should be doing right now to write this... So, what did you think of the Rin and Len scene? Was it cute? And what do you think of Gumi's POV? Any guesses on who the new student will be? See you next week! I will try to reply to all comments and yay! Summer break is a week away! I will try to update a lot more often over the summer. You guys give me a reasonable goal and we'll see if I can reach it.
