Rin's P.O.V

We were sitting at the dinner table with Dad, Lily, and Neru. Everyone was eating quietly until Len broke the silence.

"So, dad, when are you and Lily going to get married?"

"Um, Well... We're not really sure. We were thinking sometime in February."

"But that's so soon!?"

"I know, but we've got enough money to get it set up quickly."

"Oh.... I'm done eating. I think I'll do the dishes."

"Why not leave the maids to do it? Most kids you're age would hate being asked to clean something."

"Well, I never do any chores since the maids always do it. I don't know I want to for some reason. Do you wanna help Neru?"

"Why would-" Neru started, but she was cut off by Lily,

"Neru, go help. Now."

"But- Fine..." Neru got up from the table and followed Len to the kitchen.

Neru's P.O.V

I followed Len to the kitchen. Being forced to do chores at a house where there are maids to do it is so stupid! But wait! Now I get to be alone with Len. Maybe this is my chance.

"So Len I know the real reason you asked me to come in here with you." I said. He looked nervous.

"You do?" He asked.

"I bet it's because you like me. This is the only way we could be alone and away from Rin." Relief washed over him.

"That's totally not it! I like Rin and only Rin." Len started scrubbing some of the dishes. What!?

"What? Why did you look nervous then?"

"Nervous? I wasn't nervous." He's so up to something.

Len's P.O.V

I brought Neru in to do the dishes so Rin and I could start the prank. When she said she knew why I wanted her help I was afraid she had figured out our plan some how, but she had a completely different idea! I had to hold back from laughing.

"I don't believe you. You just don't want to admit you like me in case Rin is listening." Neru said. She started hanging on my arm.

"Believe whatever you want." I pushed her away from me and 'accidentally' spilled the food off the plate in my hand onto her shirt. She screamed.

"Oops! Sorry!" I said quickly trying to make it look like an accident.

Rin's P.O.V

After Len and Neru had been in the kitchen for about ten minutes I heard Neru scream. Following her scream was Len's voice,

"Oops! Sorry!"

"Idiot! You did that on purpose I know it!" Neru yelled. Then she ran into the room me, dad, and Lily were in. "Mom! He spilled gross food all over me and he did it on purpose I know it!"

"Honey calm down. It was an accident. I'm sure Rin can help you. Right Rin?" Lily asked.

"Of course. Come upstairs Neru. I'll get you a clean shirt and have one of the maids wash that one." I said.

Neru followed me upstairs and into my room. I handed her a random shirt and she went into my bathroom to change. Without thinking she put her phone down on the desk on her way to the bathroom. I quickly picked it up and handed it to Len who was standing outside the door. He started pressing buttons on it. I heard Neru start to open up the bathroom door.

"Hurry Len! She's coming back!" I whispered

"I'm trying! Here."  Len shoved Neru's phone back into my hand and I quickly set it down where it was before just as Neru walked out. I closed the bedroom door and Len ran away so she wouldn't see him. Neru handed me her dirty shirt then picked up her phone.

"Well I'll take this to the maid then I'm gonna go see what Len's doing." I said quickly. I didn't want to be in the room when she turns on her phone cause it's gonna be loud!

I handed the shirt to a maid that was walking by and asked her to clean it then ran for the stairs. As I was going down the stairs I heard an unfamiliar scream followed by Neru's scream. Sounds like the loud part is over.

Dad, Lily, and Len ran up stairs when they heard the scream. Len, knowing what it was, stayed back by me. Dad and Lily ran into the room and Len and I followed holding hands.

When we got into the room I could hear laughing coming from Neru's phone.

"What's going on!? When I turned it on it screamed really loud and now this creepy laughing won't stop!" Neru sobbed. She handed her phone to dad.

"Rin or Len one of you fix it now!" Dad said holding the phone out to us. Neither of us took it though.

"What makes you think we did it!?" I asked.

"I don't think you did it I know you did it, Because I know for a fact that you happen to love playing pranks and you happen to not like Neru very much."

"Ugh fine..." Len took the phone from dad and did something to it. Almost instantly the laughing stopped. Len tossed the phone to Neru who struggled to catch it.

"Nice work if this had hit the floor you could've broken it!" Neru said.

"Whatever."

"Ugh! Mom I wanna go home!"

"Are you sure? We were gonna stay a little longer though." Lily asked.

"No! I want to go now!" Neru left my room. Lily followed mumbling an apology and a goodbye to dad.

Seriously? Which one of them is the parent? I rolled my eyes.

"The two of you are in trouble for this, but don't tell anyone I said this, but that was a pretty cool prank but um, yes, you are in trouble." Len laughed but he tried to hold it back.

"What's our punishment?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Um... I havn't decided. How about you just go to bed early. Right now goodnight." Dad said. He gave us both a hug, kissed our heads, and left. We looked at each other, the door, and back to each other.

"That was weird." We both said at once.
