Len's P.O.V

The school year started on August 5th. Now it's December 1st. Almost Christmas and almost mine and Rin's birthday!!

Rin and I decided to go for a walk. It hasn't snowed yet this year but it is pretty cold so we both had coats, boots, and scarves on.

"I wish it would snow already!" Rin said kicking some fallen leaves. She shoved her hands into her coat pockets.

"Isn't it exciting? Christmas is almost here." I said. She smiled.

"And our birthday."

"Yep. Should we have a party?"

"I don't know. Who would we invite?"

"Everyone from the club could come to our house."

"Oh. I'm not really sure I'd want them all in our house."

"We could go somewhere else then. It doesn't have to be the house." Rin didn't say anything. "Do you even consider them friends? I know that they all see you as a friend but..."

"I don't know. I want to. You know what, yes. I've gotta stop hiding all the time. Let's have them all over at the house and we can have a big party!" She smiled again. I could tell she really was excited. That made me smile too. Then two girls from school walked over.

"What's with you guys?" One asked.

"Yeah, are you really dating?" Said the other.

"We are." I said.

"But that's incest." the second girl said.

"Do you have a problem?" I asked. I took Rin's hand and she leaned on my arm.

"Well yeah. That's messed up."

"Its our life. Why should you care?"

"Because Haruhi-" The first girl suddenly covered the second girls mouth. I'm guessing the first girl is Haruhi.

"Don't tell them that, Kiri!" Haruhi said. The second girl, Kiri, shoved her hand away.

"I have to or nothing will ever change! It's because Haruhi has a crush on-" The hand was over her mouth again.

"Do you have a crush on me?" I asked. She shook her head 'no'. I looked at Kiri and she shook her head too.

"No. Not you. She has a crush on Rin." Rin's eyes got wide hearing that. Haruhi blushed dark red showing it was true.

"M-me... b-but" Rin stuttered. It seems she doesn't know what to say.

"So you have a problem with incest but not lesbians?" I asked.

"W-well I I-I mean I..."

"I'm not gonna judge you, Haruhi. But as you know I'm taken. Sorry." Rin said.

"R-right. I'm sorry for saying you were weird. Um, I guess we'll leave now..." Haruhi said. The two girls started to walk away.

"Wait!" Rin called. They both turned around quickly. "We could still be friends right?"

"Really?" They both asked. Haruhi looked really hopeful.

"Sure! I-If that's okay with you?"

"I-I would love that! Thank you!" Haruhi said smiling.

"I'll see you at school then. You can sit with us at lunch if you want."

"Okay! See you!" Haruhi said. Both girls waved and then left.

Rin's P.O.V

I never thought a girl would confess to me... but I'm glad I made a new friend!

Len put his arm around me. It felt nice since its cold out.

"I'm proud of you." Len said.

"What? Why?"

"Well, you're always so shy, but you made that girl really happy."

"Oh." We started walking again without talking for a few minutes.

"You know, we still need to get back at Neru for putting that picture up at the dance." Len said suddenly.

"Oh yeah. What should we do?"

"Well, I was thinking, since her and Lily are coming for dinner tonight we could 'accidentally' spill something on her and then she'll want to shower. So while she showering we could take her phone and...." He whispered the plan to me.
