Next morning, Misha's parents had arrived and we're little apprehensive about the marriage. Of course who won't be? However they agreed when Misha convinced them.

Engagement was set after a week. Till then her parents were to stay there and after that extended family was to be invited.

The palace was buzzing with this news. Some girls were jealous of Misha. They thought that Rishabh had a very bad choice. Some how this news reached the brother and sister duo.

Vanshika: What the hell is going on?

Neil: Let them do what they want. Then I will do what I want. Don't worry you will be married to Rishabh only and Misha... she is already mine.

A night before engagement,

Rishabh and Misha were strolling together in the garden.

Rishabh: What are you thinking?

Misha: In these few months my life has taken a 360° turn. I hated you but now I love you.

Rishabh: You love me?

Misha: We are getting engaged tomorrow and now you are asking me this !! Do you have any doubt?

Rishabh: No it's not like that. I mean you never show your love.

Misha: And how should I show it?

Rishabh held her hand and pulled her closer. Misha was surprised at this gesture.

Misha: Rishabh, ye room nahi hai tumhara. Koi dekh lega. Leave my hand.

Rishabh: Dekh lene do. Officially we are husband and wife. Unhe bhi pata chal jaega ki main kitna romantic hoon.

He was just holding her when Badi Rani's voice came out to call him. He left her hand hurriedly. But this time, Misha was playful. She held his hand and pulled him.

Rishabh: Misha leave me. Dadi is coming. She will see us.

Misha: Chomu Raja ! Abhi to keh rahe the ki dekh lene do. Now you are scared.

Rishabh: Accha ji !!! I am never scared.

He snaked his hand to her waist and hugged her.

Meenakshi: Oh sorry, I didn't see you. By the way Misha... you are being called.

Misha blushed and went inside. Meenakshi gave a teasing smile to her brother who looked at the ground.

Next evening,

Misha and Rishabh were ready. They were not allowed to meet before the ceremony.

In the engagement Rishabh was eagerly waiting for Misha to come down and she came in a beautiful lehenga.

He was looking at her when Chitransh nudged him.

Chitransh: Bhai, you have whole life to look at her. Baad me dekh lena.

That is when he noticed that everyone was looking at him when he was staring at her. Misha had her eyes down.

When our eyes met my heart cringed for her. I just blushed and she went away with her eyes down.

She came on the stage and noticed Rishabh who was looking equally handsome.

They slid beautiful rings in each other's fingers, thus securing them for their whole life.

After the engagement they were given some alone time.

Misha: I want something from you.

Rishabh: Kaho to chand taare le aaun.

Misha: Isshh !! Kya filmy line mari hai. Aisi koi wish nahi hai hmari. Just give me the bracelet you bought that time.

He smiled and brought it for her. He made her wear it. Misha quivered a little when he touched her. She noticed how every touch of his turned her on.

After some time Badi Rani called them and told them about a ritual.

Badi Rani: Till your marriage... that is next month you won't be able to meet and spend any alone time together.

Both looked sad at this but Badi Rani's order was to be followed how so ever.

Outside the room, Himalaya kaka was waiting for Rishabh.

Himalaya: Rishabh, have you been told that you won't be able to meet her?

Rishabh: Yes.

Himalaya: This is not necessary to be followed. Your father didn't.

Rishabh: Thanks kaka. That's why I trust you.

Himalaya: But don't let anyone know that you are meeting her.

Rishabh: Okay.

Next morning, Misha was getting ready in her room when someone jumped on the porch and entered her room.

Misha: Who are you?

She was about to scream when he kept his hand on her mouth and whispered that he was Rishabh.

Misha punched him lightly and said that he scared her.

Misha: But why are you here? The tradition...

Rishabh: Oh nobody cares about that. Himalaya kaka told me that nobody followed that not even my father. And don't tell me that you didn't wanted to see me.

Misha: Of course I wanted to. But didn't expected you this early.

Rishabh: Oh yes. I came to wish you good morning.

Misha: Good morning to you too! Now please leave.

Rishabh: Abhi jitna marzi bhaga lo lekin apna birthday to hmare sath hi celebrate karogi. It's tomorrow.

Misha: Only if dadi allows.

Rishabh: Nobody can stop me from being with you on your birthday.

Misha smiled and hugged him when they heard footsteps. Rishabh went away in hurry.

That afternoon, Rishabh was out for some work. Misha didn't knew about this and was reading a novel in her room. Somebody again climbed the porch.

Misha: You here again? Ab kya good afternoon wish karne aae ho?

The intruder removed his mask and Misha looked at him in horror.

Misha: You... you are not Rishabh.

Neil: Yes, I am not. I thought you were going to shout. But you made my work easier. Let's go princess.

Misha: Leave my hand.

Neil: Misha, darling. Why do you want Rishabh to be killed? It would be better if you come without any questions.

Misha was left with no other option but to follow him.
She went away with him.
