♡Camping♡
It was finally Autumn. The trees were changing, weather getter colder, and skies bearing gold.
In Central Park, they always held a large camping trip. It was annual and brought the large city together. All you needed was a tent and change of clothes.
Maya decided that she'd take her favorite brunette with her, so she went over to Riley's apartment.
"Riles, wake up! It's camping day!" The blonde hollerd as she jumped on her best friend. Riley slapped a hand over Maya's mouth and pouted.
"You're too energetic for 7:00 in the morning...." She said tiredly. This made Maya grin, and go to Riley's closet in search of a bag.
"Honey, your parents are already up. You've got to get ready." Maya chuckled, throwing the purple backpack at the other girl. Riley pulled herself out of bed and yawned rather loudly.
"Fine, but you're helping me." The brunette said with a smile. The two girls spent the next half hour getting Riley's bag set. Maya had already brought her things with her to the Matthews' apartment.
After Riley situated herself, taking a shower, doing her hair, and putting on a simple oversized blue sweater and light colored skinny jeans, the girls set off downstairs to the living room.
"Who's ready for camping day?!" Corey shouted with a dorky smile. Riley, Maya and Auggie grinned at eachother before turning back to Corey and Topanga yelling,
"YAAAAYY!"

When walking into the park, all three kids had grins on their faces. Auggie saw Ava and tore off towards her while Corey turned to Maya and Riley.
"How about you two go find a spot to set up the tents?" He suggested with a small. The two girls, still smiling looked at eachother and smiled.
"Yea, sounds cool.... I'll race you!" Maya said with a smirk, running off into the park. Riley then tore off after her, finally on her blonde haired friends trail.
Riley, being her clumsy self, tripped and accidentally fell on Maya. This caused both girls to end up on the ground, Riley on top of her best friend. There was a long silence, and red cheeks because of closeness. It was all interrupted when Corey and Topanga walked over. Riley rolled off the blonde, who was a blushing mess making Riley giggle and help her up.
"This'll do." Topanga said cheerfully, setting the three tents down.
"Now everyone pitch in so you can go have some fun!" Corey added, tossing a tent at the two teens.
Riley sat down on the leaf filled ground crisscross-applause and opened the tent bag. Maya sighed sitting next to the brunette amd leaning her head while Riley read the directions out loud.
"Ok.... So this pole goes here, and this one here...." The brunette murmured, as she tried to put the tent up. Maya watched her in concern, seeing that her best friend was getting frustrated.
"Here, let me help you." She said as she went behind Riley, taking the poles and feeding them through the tent. Maya then hammered the plastic pegs into the ground, brush the dirt off her hands.
"See? All done!" Maya said triumphantly as she crawled inside.
"Thanks peaches." Riley smiled, kissing the blonde on the cheek. This made Maya blush, but this went unnoticed when the tent fell down on top of the two.
"Aww come on!" Maya shouted.

After help from Corey and Topanga, all three tents were set up properly. The girl's were dismissed to explore. Maya dug in her bag to get her polariod camera that she'd brought. They both held hands and were smiling like dorks.
"It's really pretty out... I love when the leaves change color." Riley commented as they waked down the paved path, leaves crunching beneath their feet as they walked.
"So do I, but you're prettier." Maya said out loud. She had a crush on her best friend, but she'd never admit it in fear of rejection. Riley blushed.
"Thanks peaches." She said with a smile. Riley also liked Maya, had a crush on her you could say. She always had to put up with Lucas though. It was times like these with Maya that she treasured dearly.
"Hey, Maya! Look, i'm a deer!" Riley giggled, holding up two branches to the sides of her head.
"Oooh, stay there!" Maya smiled, taking a picture of her favorite brunette, who was giggling and making faces. Riley walked over as the picture evened out.
"Ooo, that's a good one!" She giggled, looking over Maya's shoulder. She'd dropped the sticks and checked her phone.
"Pumpkin carving at 3, wanna go?" Riley asked Maya who shrugged.
"I don't see why not, but let's get Auggie and Ava." The blonde suggested.

The four kids walked to the gazebo. The place was surrounded by trees, it was just calming. Auggie and Ava set off in search of a pumpkin while the two teens did the same.
"Aww cool, look at this one Riles! It's huge!" Maya grinned, trying to pick up the giant pumpkin that looked and felt about 20 pounds.
"Maya, your going to hurt yourself! How about this one? It's so cute and tiny." Riley giggled. The pumpkin was indeed tiny, there wasn't much you could do with it.
"But I like this one..." The blonde whined. It was quite the childish argument, but neither of the girls minded. A head of curly brown hair came bounding towards them, followed by a small blonde.
"We found one, what about you?" Auggie asked with a toothy grin. Maya pouted and pointed at Riley.
"She doesn't like my pumpkin." Maya said childishly.
"It's huge Maya, you can't even pick it up without falling over." Riley giggled.
"Oh yea?"
"Yea!"
"Watch me!" Maya challenged, trying to pick up the large pumpkin and ultimately failing.
"See?" Riley teased playfully.
"How about this one?" Auggie suggested, shoving a normal sized pumpkin towards the two. Riley and Maya looked at eachother and nodded.
"Thanks Aug." Maya said, ruffling his curly brown hair. She then grabbed Riley's hand and helped bring the pumpkin to the gazebo with the other kids. It was decorated in fairy lights and more Halloween decorations.
"Any ideas?" Riley asked the blonde with a smile, sitting down on the gazebo floor.
"Yep, hand me a knife?" Maya asked, as if it was something completely normal to say.
"Sure Mrs murderer!" Riley exclaimed enthusiastically as she handed one to Maya. The blonde stuck her tongue out a bit in concentration as she cut a hole in the top of the pumpkin which made the brunette giggle. An idea stuck in Riley's head and her lips tugged upwards in a malicious grin.
Maya had pulled the top off the pumpkin and set it on the ground, beginning to take out the 'guts.' Before Maya could put her hands back in, Riley grabbed a handful of pumpkin guts and threw them at Maya.
"Riley Matthews!" She gasped. Riley erupted into giggles then took off, knowing Maya would trail behind her in revenge. And that's exactly what she did. Maya playfully tackled Riley to the leaf covered ground, ended up like they did earlier. Maya had landed on Riley and they looked into eachother's eyes.
"Can I- Can I try something?" Maya asked softly, looking at the brunette's lips, then back to her eyes. Riley nodded, getting the idea.
Lips touched lips, wanting the feeling for such a long time. They only broke apart for much needed air.
"Maya?"
"Yes Riles?"
"Whatever you want us to be."
"Girlfriends..?"
"Girlfriends."
