Heading towards the door with luggage and bags, Vijay opened the door knob and jumped back, startled to see Om in front of the door. He closed his mouth and swallowed, exhaling as slowly as he could while moving back as Om took his steps forward.

"Where are you going?"

"N. . . Nowhere. . ." Vijay stuttered, faking a scoff as he tried his best to curl a smile over his lips.

"You don't need to leave." Om uttered in a stern tone. "You can stay here, I'm leaving."

"You are?" Vijay's face lit up but he realised and blinked, trying to change his tone. "I meant why?"

"My work here is done, I don't need to stay here anymore. . . I have somewhere else to be." He replied, staring into space as he reminded his Gauri.

'Who else did he kill?' Vijay irritatedly muttered in his mind, suspicious yet frightened as he watched Omkara's expressions.

"So. . . Why did you kill them?" He knew what mess he had dragged himself into after this question rushed out of his impatient mouth.

Om blinked at Vijay, staring at him for few seconds before speaking, "some things are better if they remain a secret."

Vijay understood he rejected to answer his question indirectly, and nodded his head. "Okay. . . Leave quickly so I can breathe properly." He blurted out and realised his words, biting his tongue afterwards. "I mean, leave so. . ."

"I heard." Om interrupted him, passing him a look before heading towards the bookshelf. Vijay made sure he was out of his sight before passing noticeable reactions, timid that they may trigger Om and be the end of him.

After the bookshelf closed by itself, Vijay released a breath of relief and made faces, gritting his teeth as he continued looking at the bookshelf, "I swear if he was in front of me then I would slap him until his head disappears!" He muttered to himself and clenched onto the luggage. "What if he's lying and preparing to kill me?" His mind instantly put this thought in his mind, making him swallow his spit of fear again as he felt shivers down his spine.

Few hours passed by and he was sat in a bus, leaning his head against the window while thinking about Gauri. His life has never been this bad, and when things turned wavy, it was as if a movie was in process of releasing. From the day he met Kaali till now, had been hectic and unrealistic for him to continue thinking straight. Kaali killing him off, him surviving and waking up with a new face, him plotting to avenge from his killers, his love not being dead but running off to a city she has never been to before, him going there to find her and take revenge from one last person that is left in the list. To him, his life had become a movie.

He closed his eyes, remecising his moments with Gauri, until Kaali's words repeat in his mind again, highlighting the important part. 'She also found out that she was pregnant.' His heart sank as he slowly opened his eyes again. "My child. . ." His lips closed after he uttered those words, flapping his moist eyes and exhaled, thinking about a baby figure while feeling emotionally weak.

Hurriedly, she sat inside the bus while covering her face with her stole, glancing around timidly.

"There she is! Grab her." One of the men shouted and leaned forward, pulling her by the wrist aggressively.

"Ahh." Her stole slid down her head and her face was revealed. Her lips were cut and cheeks were bruised, the condition she was in is horrendous.

"What's happening?" Few men, sat down in the bus question as they stood up, confused and displeased to see the behaviour happening with her.

"Stay out of this!" The two men warned and threatened, taking a knife out of their pockets and swinging it in front of them.

The men who stood up to speak against the injustice sat back down and turned their eyes away. She wasn't surprised, as the past month had been similar. She would wait for stronger male to help her out yet, they would leave her in misery after batting their eyes.

"Now we can finally go back to Bareilly." The man sighed, dragging her out as aggressively as he could.

While wincing in pain, she tried freeing herself from his grip, despite knowing that her life from now, is not going to be the same anymore. The day Om had passed away, her whole existence vanished from her mind. The only reason she continued breathing was for their child, but she knew that her child would stop breathing as soon as it was born because Kaali was heartless, he would've separated them just to see her in pain. Running away was the only option she could embrace, just to protect her child.

Being caught by herself was another option she could view to keep her child in safe hands and away from these beasts.

He stepped down from the bus, exhausted and tired. He glanced around, inhaling the air of Mumbai, a city he has never been to. He knew, that his Gauri could be anywhere in this city, but regretted that he was clueless about her location. As he continued walking, he watched few people crowding towards a specific place, staring at it in confusion. Deciding to walk away, he headed towards the exit, wanting to get out from the bus station.

He stopped after feeling a figure push into him and slowly turned, she fell forward, hitting her head on his chest. The two men that were chasing her looked at him and narrowed their eyebrows.

"How is. . . He alive?"

"We killed him 10 months ago right. . ."

He was confused hearing their words while they gaped at him in surprise, shocked and in distress to see him standing in front of them.

They charged towards him, gripping onto their knives tightly and he pushed her to the side without looking at her face, ready to protect her and fight them. As they swayed their knives towards him, he dodged them and started hitting them.

"How are you alive!" One of the men shouted, angry and annoyed while he fought Om.

"How can you recognise me?" Om asked and the other man punched him across the stomach. "You look the same! So how could we not recognise you? But how? We killed you 10 months ago. This is impossible!"

Om was confused and he recalled Kaali's words, remembering he was mistook to be another person and creased his forehead. As they continued fighting, she slowly started to move away.

Yet, she felt a little void each time she was stepping away, not knowing why she wanted to stay rather than running away. She turned back around, watching them fight. Tears slide down her cheeks, as she continued watching them.

"He's fighting them for me. . . I can't leave him in danger." She muttered to herself, and convinced herself to wait, as he was the only one who was willing to help her while the rest just stood like statuses, watching the scene.

One of the man manages to slit Om's arm and Gauri gasped, starting to feel bad as tears continued sliding down her cheeks. He moved away, sensing their urge to kill him. It felt different and he was clueless to why they were behaving like this, touching his face he realised and looked on.

"Look out!" She yelled and he moved to the side, dodging the knife and turned around, facing her shockingly.

She covered her mouth while he continued to watch her. Shocked, happy, confused, relieved, emotional and many more emotions were rushing through him, but all he could see in his view was her.

The men attack him and he hissed in pain, realising they were there and sighed. He kicked them and picked a pot on the stall nearby, smashing it over their heads.
Gauri gasped, covering her mouth to see his anger, being reminded of someone she knew.

"Om. Why are you so angry?"

"They make me angry Gauri. . . How can they tease you like this!"

"They were only joking."

"They weren't!" He exclaimed and threw the broken stick on the ground, facing her. "I hate when anyone bully you like this."

Her lips quivered as her hand fell by her side, memories of her Om had made her emotional again. He faced her again and walked towards her, instantly pulling her into a hug while water slide down his cheeks. "Ri. . ." He trailed off and she confusingly stood in his embrace, feeling the warmth yet not recognising the face. She recognised his heartbeat yet not sure why she was feeling connected. To her, he was someone she had never met before while to him, he found his whole life.

She pushed him away, staring at him confusingly while he glanced at her with teary eyes.

"Who. . . Who are you?" She questioned, sensing that he was familiar with her however she wasn't, she had no clue who this face belonged to.

"It's me. . ." He stopped, noticing Ajay and few men entering the bus station and towards them, knowing they were here for Gauri.

He moved forward and grabbed onto her hand, instantly rushing away from her. She was shocked and confused with this sudden movement.

"What are you doing?" She asked, trying to free herself but he spoke in a hurry. "We need to leave. Ajay is coming."

She was confused yet turned around, watching Ajay and his men chase them, developing a dejavu moment.

"What should I say to the family? How should I face Maa?" Tej wondered while driving the car, feeling frustrated and tensed.

He abruptly stopped as two figures run in front of the car. "What the fu. . ." He stopped after seeing Om, looking on.

Seeing that they were being chased, he scrolled his window down. "Get in the car." Om and Gauri look at him, confused and Om recognised him, remembering him from the hospital.

Wasting no more time, he dragged Gauri towards the car and opened the door, pushing her in and sitting in with her.

"What the. . ." Gauri was confused and clueless to what was happening and why Om was behaving like he knew her.

"Why am I being attacked?" Om instantly asked as soon as Tej started driving as fast as he could. "Wait, let me take you to a place where we can talk calmly."

He sighed, agreeing to wait and then faced Gauri who was staring at him confusingly. He was grateful and relieved that she was in front of him, he hadn't had to do much to find her, she found her way to him. A sudden thought clicked his mind and he blinked at her curiously.

"Did you give birth to a boy or a girl?" She stared at him in shock, widening her eyes and moving away. "How. . . How do you know? Did Kaali Thakur send you?"

Om shakes his head, "he's dead." He firmly replied to her and she stared at him, unable to believe him. "Who are you?"

"Om." She creased her forehead as her eyes welled up. "Om?" He shook his head and the two stare at each other.

"How is this possible?"

"He had plastic surgery. . . I gave him my son, Omkara Singh Oberoi's face!" Tej spoke, drawing their attention towards him.

"My son, Omkara. . ." He trailed off as tears welled in his eyes. He glanced at Om's face through the rare mirror, seeing his son and now imagining his smiley face.
