the next day:

gauri's room:

gauri woke up early and saw the time: 7am. she wanted to go back to sleep but thought that it was better to just take a shower. she was about to get a towel when someone came in the room. she turned to see her nandi.

om: so how are you today?

gauri: good but why are you in here? get out! if dadi ya maaji sees phir.....

om: phir? i don't care. they aren't the bosses of me. 

gauri: but still, if you want to keep your hair long, go.

om: i don't care. five more minutes then i will go.

dadi: like that's going to happen!

rikara turned to see dadi with her arms folded and darting dangerous looks at om who gave a nervous face.

dadi: i know my gauri isn't responsible for om in her room. must be om.

gauri: yes dadi, it is omkaraji. he can never be patient. kitni ziddi hai!

dadi: he was always ziddi. oh om! go and get ready. today is your haldi!

om goes unwillingly and dadi turns to gauri, smiling.

dadi: accha gauri. do one thing take a shower aur phir change. ok?

gauri: ji dadi.

dadi goes and gauri gets her towel and goes into the shower.

five minutes later:

she comes out feeling fresh and finds anika with a dress.

anika: here gauri. wear this and then wait for mummyji and jhanvi aunty.

gauri: ji.

anika was about to go when:

gauri: anika bhoojal?

anika: ji?

gauri: did shivay come to your room drunk?

anika: yes he did. how do you know?

gauri: kyunki om was drunk too.

anika: must have been rudy.

om was just staring at gauri when he saw her but unfortunately humari pyaari rudy kept the cloth partition. om groans in sadness. however everyone had to go inside for a minute expect from him and gauri. he took this opportunity and went to gauri's side chup chup se. he grabbed a few petals off flowers and threw it over gauri.

gauri: omkaraji?

she turns to see her omkaraji smiling. he was about to hug her but he saw the door opening and rushed back to his side

the haldi ceremony started:

tej and shakti got the haldi:

tej and shakti first took the haldi to om's side.

tej: om, i know that in the past we have always had a bitter relationship and now i would like to change that so with your permission, may i.....

om: of course dad. you can apply haldi first.

all got emotional hearing om calling tej dad. tej carefully put haldi on om and blessed him. 

jhanvi's turn:

she covered his face with haldi and pinched his nose.

om: what's that for?

jhanvi: for your micheif.

dadi: matlab?

jhanvi: kuch nahi just when he was a child.

all: oh.

soon om's haldi was done and they took the rest and another bowl of haldi:

to apply on gauri. tej applied on her first.

tej: gauri, thank you for everything. from chasing svetlana out of our lives to making om accept me. i pray that you and om will live a long life together.

gauri smiles and hugs tej tight then it was jhanvi's turn.

jhanvi: gauri, you are truly one of a kind. sach mein! you got the evil out of our lives and now you are bringing happiness in our lives. i hope you and om live a long and happy life ever and yes do bless me with a grandchild soon.

all laugh, gauri blushes and om who heard this blushed a bit too.

soon people appiled haldi on gauri.

both rikara got a shower and came back into the garden where rudy was putting the music on. gauri was glowing very brightly and was looking so beautiful:

rudy got the mic and said: hello all! so as you all know what is a haldi ceremony with dancing and music so first dance will be done by the lovebirds, meri o and meri gauri bhabhi.

all laugh and gauri blushes. soon it was shivomru dance and they were dancing to Buddhu Sa Man. whilst anriya were talking, gauri spotted a gun being held by someone and it was being pointed at om. she saw the gun was about to shoot so she ran up to om and pushed him aside:

BANG!

no expression on her face. she wasn't moving. she fell into om's strong arms in a pool of blood, eyes shut.

om: GAURI!

he lifts her up bridal style and the family rushes her to hospital.
