sometimes you wish that you weren't bounded by rules. sometimes you wish that you were free from the clutches of these rules. sometimes you wish you were free to decide your future.

yes princess. not as in papa's princess or brother's princess-I mean actually a princess. you know the ones who live in palaces and are trapped.

how are princesses trapped?

i'll tell you.

the minute they are born, their destiny is decided.

I am not crowned princess thanks god. my older brother is. but I too have a destiny unfortunately planned for me.

my destiny is that once I am 17, i'll be made to marry to someone which my parents have arranged and that person has to be a prince or king or some minister.

and then another way princesses are trapped is RULES!

since I was two, many tutors would come and make me learn as many languages as possible. for god sake, two and they wanted to teach me latin!! also a princess can't have nicknames. it's always 'the princess of.......'

and you have to be on your best behaviour always. even if you breath wrong, the world will be talking about it. then one of the worst rules is NO.

my entire life, I ask for something, it is always NO.

no this.

no that.

no blah blah blah.

and when my brothers ask for something, it is always YES. and a princess has to look perfect. so no messy hair, fair skin always, not even a little lipstick smudge. god, kill me!

instead of going to school and meet new friends, PRIVATE TUTORS!

finally you have to eat what you are told to. so my entire life, I have never ever had this thing called ice cream nor kulfi nor gol gappa and none of the good stuff pretty much. well how I am suppose to know if it is good stuff or not, I never got a chance to try them. entire life, just these veggies and healthy stuff which makes a princess beautiful-URGH!

one day I will escape this hell. one day I will become what I want to be without my royal title. one day I will become a singer without my royal title.

oh no! if I marry a king, matlab yeh ki I will be queen!
