Twenty-One

Jenny finally slowed to a stop, breathing heavily and leaned over herself. She stood in front of the movie theater, looking up at it with a confused look. She groaned, gripping her legs and dry heaving as Dean and Molly stepped out of the Impala.

"Did... Did you run here?" Molly asked the obvious, Jenny slowly looking up. Her face was covered in sweat as well as her shirt having a ring of it on the collar. Some of her hair stuck to her face.

"No. I was actually driving an invisible car and my legs were the wheels." She spat sarcastically, inhaling for a long moment before slowly standing up. "I've been running for an hour. You could have just picked me up." Jenny told Dean, who gave her a quick and apologetic smile.

"I thought you'd get here before us."

"The motel is five miles from here." Jenny gestured behind her and Dean scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. Jenny sighed. "Where's Sam? And why are we at a theater I thought we were going to Ed's house?"

"Apparently, this is where Ed stays." Dean gestured to the building and Jenny raised a brow. Molly cleared her throat.

"And Sam is with Jamie, making sure she's safe." She answered, opening the Impala's back door and leaned in. She stood up and tossed Jenny a water bottle. She popped the cap open and quickly chugged half of it before turning to Dean.

"So, we ready or what?"

———

"Hey look. Phantom of the Opera is showing." Molly pointed to the movie poster before Jenny ushered her along.

"I'm not the only one weirded out by the Organ music right?" Dean whispered as Molly shook her head. Jenny glanced at the two before leading them along. She checked her gun for a moment before slowly walking up behind the shadow of the man playing the organ. The music switched to something more happy before Jenny gripped his shoulder and spun him around. She kicked the seat away and slammed Ed into the organ, which thundered in their ears for a moment.

Ed let out a strange shriek as he noticed the golden gun pointed in his face, and how determined Jenny looked. "You, FBI people -- What did I—"

"Shut it!" Jenny moved the gun closer to Ed's face and he whimpered in fear. "You know what you did."

"What?" Ed asked, still horrified but now confused. Dean raised his gun to Ed, and the man flinched. Jenny gripped him tighter and held him in place. "Jesus you're stronger than you look."

"Shut up." Jenny repeated. "We know what you are."

"I'm not anything. I just like to play the Casio!" Ed defended himself. Jenny moved Ed's face with her gun, raising her brows.

"Had time to grow the ear back, huh?" She asked, Ed's eyes widening.

"What?!"

Molly stepped forward and yanked on Ed's ear and the man screamed in pain. The three Hunter's awkwardly glanced to each other.

"I thought it was supposed to come off." Molly whispered to Dean and Jenny, who looked to Ed as he shoved Jenny off of him.

"No, it's not!" Jenny turned to Dean, who very slowly started to lower his gun as Jenny did the same. She turned back to Ed and laughed quietly.

"This has... Bern a very big misunderstanding uhm— You just... Go back to playing Queso—"

"Casio!" Ed corrected Dean loudly and the three ran out the door.

"Okay. If it isn't Ed, then who the fuck is the shifter?"

———

Dean, Molly and Jenny walked into the bar, looking around in confusion when they couldn't find Sam. "Sammy?" Jenny called out, walking towards the bar.

"You think he went home with Jamie?" Molly asked, but Dean and Jenny shook their heads.

"He's not really the 'take this back to your place' guy." Dean frowned. Jenny turned to Dean.

"Maybe me being dead for four months changed him. I'll try and call him." Jenny pulled out her phone and continued to slowly walk around as she dialed Sam's number.

It rang for a few moments before going to voicemail. "It's Jenny. We're back at the bar, looks like you probably went home with Jamie. Uh... Ed isn't our guy so we're going to keep looking. Call me back."

Jenny looked back at Dean and Molly and shrugged. She stepped forward, jumping back when she stepped on broken glass. Molly and Dean walked over as Jenny leaned down and looked at the shattered bottle.

"It's Lucy." Dean stated as Jenny stood up. He showed his sister and fiancé the napkin, blotted with Lucy's lipstick.

———

Jenny rushed up to Lucy's front door with quick and quiet steps. She knelt down, digging through her jacket before pulling out her lock pick and started unlocking the door.

Molly and Dean turned the safety of their guns off as Jenny opened the door, the three entering slowly.

"I'll check the basement. Molly you check upstairs and you can cover the first floor, Dean." Jenny ordered as Molly rushed up the stairs. Dean started heading for the kitchen as Jenny took to the basement door.

She leaned against the wall, aiming her gun down the stairs as they creaked with every step she took. Even with how slow she went, it was still loud enough for Dean to hear. Which meant Lucy could hear it, too.

She made it to the hallway, which was oddly built like a stage and she swung a door open. She immediately burst into a quiet fit of laughter at Sam's lederhosen, covering her mouth to stifle the laughing.

"Laugh later. Get me out of this." Sam spoke bitterly as Jenny snickered, walking over and pulled out her phone. "Jenny... Jenny don't—"

The quiet click of her phone silenced Sam as Jenny visibly but down on her tongue and kept laughing. "Oh I'm sorry, Hansel, but there's no way I ever want to forget this." Sam rolled his eyes as Jenny started to free him. "Aren't you just adorable?"

"Shut up." Sam rushed past Jenny as she continued to giggle quietly, following after him.

Dean and Molly met the two in the hallway, Sam giving his siblings a bitch face as they both started to snicker at him. He rolled his eyes again before opening the bedroom door.

Jamie lied on the bed in a white satin dress, unconscious. Jenny whipped her gun up as Dean went for Jamie, only to be intercepted by Dracula.

"You will never be Van Helsing!" Dracula yelled at Dean as Sam grabbed the shifter, joining the fight. "And you, Harker, now you die!"

"How 'bout now you shut the hell up?" Dean argued, Molly and Jenny rushing towards the bed. Jenny shook Jamie, who stayed unconscious for a moment before she slapped her gently. She stayed unconscious.

"Shit. Okay, try and wake her up." Jenny ordered Molly as she threw herself at Dracula. The shifter yelled, throwing Jenny into Dean and the two fell through the wall.

Jenny groaned in pain, rolling off of Dean. A gunshot went off and the two sat up, looking to see Dracula's chest had began to bleed.

The shifter looked down slowly, betrayed. "Silver?" He whispered and turned around. Jamie was holding Molly's gun, which was aimed directly at the shifter. Dean and Jenny looked to each other before back at the scene.

"It was beauty that killed the beast. No, Mina, do not weep." Dracula begged as he fell into the chair, breathing heavily. "Perhaps this is how the movie should end." He exhaled sharply before falling limp.

Dean stood up, taking Jenny's hand and helped her up as well before swiping dust off of her jacket and hair.

Molly raised a hand into the air before bringing it down across her face. "And scene."

———

"Well, thank you, G-Man. You have been a great service to your country." Jamie praised Sam, who gave her a quick and bashful smile.

"Oh, yes, he's very, very patriotic." Dean slapped his brothers shoulder. Sam shot him a glare as Jamie chuckled in amusement. He smiled tensely at Jamie.

"Bye." Sam spoke flatly before quickly walking away.

"You four saved my life, you know? So, thanks." Jamie called out to them. Jenny and Molly waved goodbye as Jamie walked away.

"I like her." Sam said as Jenny chuckled.

"I bet you do, Harker." She mused. Dean let out a laugh as Sam rolled his eyes again.

"Feels good to be back on the job, doesn't it?" Dean asked, looking to Jenny. She nodded quickly, sighing.

"Yeah, beats being trapped in Hell, you know?" The siblings all looked to her, and Jenny groaned. "Oh, come on. It's not like you guys wouldn't try making jokes out of it to ease the pain."

"Whatever. The hero—" Dean patted his brothers shoulder again. "—gets the girl, monster gets the gank. All in all, happy ending -- with a happy ending, no less."

"Real classy, Dean." Sam grumbled and his brother shrugged.

"Hey, all I'm saying is the shifter man had a point, you know? It would be nice if life was movie simple. Although, if I was turning life into a movie, I wouldn't do this Abbott and Costello meet the monster crap."

"Yeah, no. I know what you'd pick." Sam smirked, clearly amused with Dean's look. Jenny thought for a moment before smiling as well, and Dean shook his head.

"No, you don't." Dean argued as Molly looked at the three with raised brows.

"Yeah, I do." Sam nodded and looked down at his brother. Dean kept shaking his head.

"No. You don't. You don't either!" Dean spoke to both Sam and Jenny. The two glanced to each other before nodding.

"Porky's II." The spoke in unison. Dean deadpanned at them as Jenny smirked.

"Lucky guess." Dean rolled his eyes before pointing to Jenny. "You'd pick The Goonies."

"The Goonies is an amazing movie and there is not a single chance I'd pass up on searching for buried treasure." Jenny defended herself as the four got into the car.
