"I mean how would they feel" Alec asked as he and Kelsey walked into Kelsey's room with Alec closing the door behind them.

"Well good thing you didn't ask in front of the sushi chef" Kelsey said. "Says the girl who didn't get sushi" Alec said. "You know me unless it's cooked, I won't eat it" Kelsey said.

"Yeah true" Alex told her. "Anyway, seriously why do they call it fatty tuna" Alex asked. "Beats me" Kelsey said shrugging.

"I mean that's a little degrading" Alec said. "I still don't think obese tuna sounds any better then again what do I know" Kelsey said.

"You know as much as I love Tokyo and Prague a bacon burger from the East village isn't that bad" Alec said. "Yeah, well you know my moto gotta try something new every so often but next time we'll go there" Kelsey said.

"I got you something" Alec told Kelsey. "You did" Kelsey asked.

"Yes, I did" Alec said and gave her a bag. "Open it" Alec said and Kelsey did as she grabbed it out of the bag and looked at it. "It's supposed to bring you luck and protection" Alec said.

"Thank you, Alec," Kelsey said smiling at him and Alec smiled back at her.

"Sometimes you always know how to surprise me" Kelsey said. "I hope that's a good thing" Alec said.

"It is I promise" Kelsey said then checked her phone as it dinged. "Apparently Jace is driving my dad crazy" Kelsey said and put her phone away.

"I can talk to Jace he can't stay there forever" Alec said.

"No, no it's fine my dad put up soundproof walls or something with his magic he just occasionally needs to rant which I guess I get from him" Kelsey said.

Alec and Kelsey were making out on her bed with Kelsey sitting on Alec's lap as Alec had his arms around her waist.

Until they pulled away when they heard both Alec and Kelsey's phone go off.

"What" Kelsey said groaning. Alec took out his phone and checked before putting it away and gave Kelsey a look.

"Let me guess we need to go" Kelsey said. "Yep" Alec said, and Kelsey sighed before getting off of Alec as they got off the bed and left.

"We have orders let's go" Alec told Jace as he and Kelsey went to Magnus's to try to convince Jace to go with them with both of their heads turned being respectful to now look at anything exposed. "I'm a little tied up" Jace said.

"Not yet you're not" the woman Jace was with said laughing and she and Jace sat up. "You're welcome to join us" she told Alec.

"I'm good" Alec said. "Your loss" she told him. "I'll give you three a minute" she said and left.

"Finally, I thought I was gonna have to knock her out was there no better options ugh" Kelsey said to Jace. Alec then faced Jace and tossed him his pants.

"This is your solution hiding out at Magnus's" Alec asked. "Along with having sex with the first woman you see" Kelsey added.

"I wouldn't exactly call this hiding" Jace said as he put his pants on while Kelsey finally looked at him. We have obligations" Alec said.

"Obligations" Jace said as he stood up. "Aldertree wanted me gone and I'm gone" Jace said.

"He's an idiot and it's not like you're not still a Shadowhunter" Kelsey told Jace as he looked at her before looking back at Alec.

"So, you got demoted so what you'll work your way back" Alec said. "You don't understand" Jace said. "Then instead of whining about it tell us" Kelsey told Jace.

"Whatever it is it can't be that bad" Alec said and Jace stayed silent as Kelsey shook her head at him. "So, you're just gonna turn your back on us on Isabella, Kelsey, Clary" Alec asked him.

"I told you I'm not discussing Clary" Jace said. "She's your family your sister and so is Kels" Alec said.

"I don't need a reminder" Jace said as he stood up. "What about me" Kelsey asked.

"You know what I mean Kels aside from you I only meant I didn't need a reminder about Clary" Jace said. "Right" Kelsey said.

"You know you guys should go we don't want you getting benched too or worse have Kels be tortured again in that room" Jace said. "This isn't you" Alec said before leaving with Kelsey.

"Any idea what this is about" Clary asked Alec and Kelsey.

"Heard a big storm's moving in always increases demon activity" Alec said. "And Jace is" Clary asked.

"Not here he's out being a coward or sleeping around or whatever he's doing" Kelsey said. "He's totally shut me out he's not answering my texts I don't understand what's going on" Clary said.

"You're not alone" Kelsey told her. "Come on" Alec told the two sisters and they followed him.

"What did we miss" Alec asked Izzy. "Let's see the citadel was breached Magdalena is dead Cleophas is missing" Izzy said.

"Oh my god" Clary said. "So, in other words a lot" Kelsey said. "Valentine" Clary asked. "Who else could it be" Izzy told her. "Aldertree's heading to Idris to meet with the council" Izzy said.

"Kels and I will check with ops" Alec said and left with Kelsey.

"Where have you been" Alec asked Izzy as he and Kelsey went to her. After the two checked on ops they went to find her only to not find her.

But once they spotted Izzy, they immediately went towards her. "Had to slaughter a horde of shax demons in grand central could've used your help" Alec said.

"Even my wolf side has its limits ugh those things are nasty" Kelsey said. "What are you doing" Alec asked Izzy.

"Aldertree has me on a special assignment I'm checking out some rogue vamp dens" Izzy said.

"Hey Iz are you okay" Kelsey asked her. "Yeah, I'm fine" Izzy said. "You don't seem fine" Alec told her.

"I'm tired" Izzy said and as Kelsey listened to her heartbeat it didn't indicate she lied so she was worthier telling the truth or was focusing on keeping her heartbeat steady.

"If you say so" Kelsey told Izzy. "I'm gomna go sharpen my blades" Kelsey told Alec and left.

"Um your message said you wanted to talk" Izzy told Alec. "Do you have a lead on Cleophas" she asked.

"No not yet" Alec said. "Then what is it" Izzy asked. "it's about Kels" Alec told her after making sure Kelsey was nowhere in sight. "Look um" Alec said and sighed.

"How do you know in your experience you know when's the uh the right time" Alec asked.

"Oh my god, are you talking about having sex" Izzy asked him. "Can you not discuss my sex life with the entire institute please" Alec asked.

"Wait is this your first time ever" Izzy asked and Alec stayed silent. "It all makes sense now that's why you didn't want me or Kels to meet Jessica Hawkblue" Izzy said then realized.

"Wait was there ever a Jessica Hawkblue" she asked. "Are you done" Alec asked her. "Okay" Izzy said and took a breath.

"You and Kels you want to" Izzy said and Alec interrupted seeing what she was asking. "I think so I don't know" Alec said.

"Alec, you care about Kels she cares about you it's okay just don't do what you always do" Izzy said. "And what's that" Alec asked. "Overthink it like you're doing now" Izzy said.

"No, I don't overthink things" Alec said.  "Do I" he asked seeing the look Izzy giving him.

"Look if it's what you want if it makes you happy then go for it" Izzy said and Alec left.

"Hey, did you finish sharpening your blades" Alec asked once he found Kelsey. "Yeah, I was on my way to find you" Kelsey said.

"Good come with me" Alec said and grabbed her hand leading her to his room closing it behind him.

"Wow Alec what's going on" Kelsey asked once Alec kissed her catching her by surprise as she didn't kiss back. Alec pulled away after a moment.

"Is everything okay" Kelsey asked. "I mean don't get me wrong I enjoyed the kiss" Kelsey said.

"I just thought you know we could take the next step" Alec said. "Are you talking about having sex" Kelsey asked.

"Yeah" Alec told her. "Do you not want to" Alec asked her.

"No of course I do I just I uh I'm afraid" Kelsey said. "You're afraid" Alec asked.

"Yeah, Alec I care about you so much like I been in love with you forever you're the only person I ever felt this way for, and I'm scared if we rush into this, I could lose you and I don't want you to rush into something you're not ready for" Kelsey said.

"Hey, listen to me" Alec said and took her hand. "I want this okay I promise I want this, and I swear to you you'll never ever lose me" Alec said.

"You trust me right" Alec asked. "More than anything" Kelsey said. "Okay then trust when I say I love you and I'm ready but only if you are" Alec said.

"I love you too" Kelsey said and Alec smiled. "It's your call are we doing this or not" Alec asked.

After thinking about it, Kelsey locked her door and took off her shirt. Alec kissed Kelsey once again and this time Kelsey kissed back.

Alec picked up Kelsey and she wrapped her legs around his waist as he led them to the bed as he pulled away from the kiss and laid Kelsey down on the bed.

Once Alec got on top of Kelsey, he took off his shirt and Kelsey could feel her eyes glowing and quickly looked away.

"Sorry it happens sometimes I usually can control it, but I guess I'm nervous" Kelsey said and Alec made Kelsey face him seeing her eyes still glowing.

"Your beautiful werewolf and all" Alec said and Kelsey's eyes finally stopped glowing.

"And if it helps maybe I'm a little nervous too and if you want to stop, we can" Alec said. "No, I don't" Kelsey said.

"Okay" Alec said and kissed Kelsey once again when things got heated.
