"Come in" Kelsey said after hearing a knock on the door.

Alec then walked in as Kelsey saw him and he sat on her bed. It was silent for a moment till Alec spoke up. "Why didn't you tell me" Alec asked.

"I didn't want you to think of me differently" Kelsey said. "What I could never think of you differently" Alec said and Kelsey slightly smiled.

"Does the institute know" Alec asked. "Yeah, they knew since I stepped foot in here, I mean why do you think your mother calls me an abomination" Kelsey said.

"Kels" Alec said hugging her. "No, it's okay you don't have to do that I'm used to it" Kelsey said.

"I don't care" Alec said. "Thanks" Kelsey said as Alec pulled away. "How did they find out" Alec asked.

"It was a full moon I didn't know what I was then in fact it was my first full moon I started losing control I ran outside not realizing that somebody followed me along with your mother I remember falling to my knees not understanding what was happening and as I looked at the moon your mother swore she saw my eyes glow which didn't seem possible because I had runes but then they said I turned into a werewolf they call it a miracle or I guess a abomination whichever" Kelsey said as Alec saw tears fall.

"Then they started doing these tests trying to cure what I am" Kelsey said as her voice broke.

"Till my dad came as I was smart enough to inform him what was going on and he burst through the door screaming at them" Kelsey said.

"Have you ever heard my dad scream" Kelsey asked. "Because I have and believe me, I never heard my dad scream like that before" Kelsey said.

"Kels I'm sorry you shouldn't have had to go through that" Alec said.

"But I did and it's okay I begged the institute to let me be the one to tell yo, Izzy, and Jace I always meant to, I just I guess a part of me was scared to" Kelsey said.

"Hey, you don't need to be we are always on your side okay" Alec said. "Okay" Kelsey said and nodded.

"Come here" Alec said and pulled her in for a hug.

"Mom's, in a rare form today" Izzy said walking in with Kelsey. "She's been different since she got back from Idris" Alec said.

"If you say so same old judgmental with me" Izzy said. "Moving on" Kelsey said.

"Have you spoken to Jace yet" Kelsey asked Alec. "He can call me when he's done chasing the little girl and" Alec said when Izzy interrupted. "Alec, you need to call Jace" Izzy said.

"No welcome home for the old man" Robert said walking in with Max. "Max" Alec said as Max ran to him.

"Daddy" Izzy said giving him a hug as Alec gave Max a hug. "Kelsey" Max said and gave her a hug.

"Are you and my big brother a thing yet" Max asked as Kelsey blushed looking away not sure what to say.

"What are you doing back so soon" Alec asked Max changing the subject. "Got in trouble in Mumbai" Max said. "Oh, what'd you do" Alec asked.

"Nothing" Max said. "Now why don't I believe that" Kelsey asked Max. "He started a fire with his stele during rune studies" Robert said.

"Max" Izzy said going to him giving him a hug. "I told you I was hungry" Max told Robert. "I was trying to draw the Nourishment rune" Max said.

"Those two runes look nothing alike Max" Alec said. "Well, they do to me" Max said.

"Max go up to your room open the gray book and look up the extinguish rune" Robert said and Max sighed and left. "Where is Clary Fairchild" Robert asked.

"Your mother says she's missing" Robert said to Alec. "She's not missing she's with Jace" Kelsey told Robert going to stand next to Jace.

"We can't have that girl out of institute control the entire shadow world is looking for her" Robert said. "It's a security risk get them both back here now" Robert said and left.

"Guess you better call Jace" Kelsey told Alex as Alex left.

"Hey about Alec, I know you knew about me having a thing for Alec but how long did you I mean did you" Kelsey struggled to ask Izzy.

"I always knew you had a thing for my brother" Izzy said interrupting her and Kelsey nodded.

"Now it's just a wait and see when you two finally get together or when one of you make the first move" Izzy said leaving. "Yeah, about that" Kelsey said following her.

"What, what's happening to my dad" Kelsey asked.

"Okay you know what I'm on my way try not to worry" Kelsey said and hung up running out of there.

"I'm running out of magic" Magnus said. "What do I do" Clary asked.

"I can't leave him, but the potion stock still needs Komodo scale find it add the rest when they get here, you'll have to feed it to Luke" Magnus told Clary. "What about you" Clary asked Magnus.

"I'll hold on as long as I can" Magnus said. "Go" he told her, and she left.

"Dad" Kelsey said coming in the room seeing he was about to fall and ran to him holding onto him.

"Help me munchkin I need your strength" Magnus said. "Having werewolf strength is handy take what you need dad" Kelsey said.

Magnus then held onto Kelsey's hand moments later Clary came back and fed Luke the ingredients.

"Dad" Kelsey said seeing Magnus about to fall after he stopped using his magic and caught him.

"Thanks, munchkin" Magnus said. "Are you okay dad" Kelsey asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine munchkin" Magnus said. "Jace do me a favor and make up with Alec if it wasn't for my dad I wouldn't be here enough is enough" Kelsey told Jace.

"Hey, I just wanted to thank you; you know for what you were willing to do with the werewolves" Clary said. "You mean killing the alpha to protect you all" Kelsey asked.

"Yeah" Clary said. "You don't need to thank me" Kelsey said. Clary was about to leave when Kelsey sighed and stopped her.

"Clary wait" Kelsey said and Clary faced her. "There's something I need to tell you" Kelsey said making Clary confused.

"You know how I'm adopted right by Magnus" Kelsey asked.

"Yeah" Clary said. "Well, I been keeping this from you for a while and I guess in a weird way it's because I was still coming to terms with it" Kelsey said. "Keeping what from me" Clary asked.

"Clary I'm your sister" Kelsey said putting Clary in shock. "Valentine is my biological father" Kelsey said.
