"Kels" Alec said walking in her room. "Kels" Alec said again after getting no response. "Right here" Kelsey said and made her way to Alec.

"I got your texts what's the emergency" Alec asked.

"Oh yeah about that sorry about the emergency texts but it was the only way to get your attention you've been a bit MIA" Kelsey said.

"Well since you're okay and I don't have to hurt anyone for hurting my girl I should probably get back" Alec said and went to leave but Kelsey stopped him.

"You really think I'm okay because I'm not, Alec I'm not okay because you're not okay" Kelsey said, and Alec faced Kelsey.

"Alec you've been to hell and back and you haven't stopped for a second, taken a moment for yourself not once, not even for a little bit" Kelsey said.

"Kels we're in the middle of a war" Alec said. "I know that but there will always be a war or a mission, a problem to solve okay look what I'm trying to say is if you fail to grant time for the things you care about, you'll forget why you're even fighting at all" Kelsey said. "What do you have in mind" Alec asked.

"Man, I think the last time I was here was with my dad oh memories" Kelsey said then noticed the drinks and grabbed them giving Alec one.

"Thank you" Alec said. "Well, you're welcome" Kelsey said.

"I don't like to drink often or really at all, but I'll make an exception for tonight and the bartender is a friend of my dad he swears this beer is the best" Kelsey said.

"Oh well I'm not much of a drinker either but I'll take your word for it" Alec told her.

"Cheers" Kelsey said, and they clinked their glasses and took a sip. "You hate it" Kelsey said. "No, it's in its great" Alec said.

"Okay how about we just go play pool" Kelsey said. "You never played pool" Alec said. "Then you can teach me" Kelsey said.

Alec smiled slightly at her, and they went to the pool table and played pool. "You see that" Alec asked motoring to the pool table. "It's just like archery itself all about the aim Kels" Alec said.

"Who knew there were so many similarities" Kelsey said and Alec took a shot with the pool stick but missed.

"Can't win them all" Alec said and took a drink as he watched Kelsey who was apparently pretty good as he made his way to her. "Wow looks like you didn't need my help at all" Alec said.

"Haven't you heard the saying if you can't find the one being hustled in the pool hall then it's probably you" Kelsey said and took a shot.

"Since when are you so good at pool i thought you never played" Alec said and Kelsey interrupted.

"I grew up with Magnus Bane as a dad he taught me since I was a little girl and as for me saying I never played that was just an excuse to admire you showing me how to play it was hot" Kelsey said.

"Okay" Alec said. "Okay" Kelsey said. "Yeah, let's play" Alec said and Kelsey smiled.

"Some people can't be around that energy not me though I find it very invigorating as I assume your exes did as well" Kelsey said and took a seat noticing Alec sitting next to her.

"Lydia never complained" Alec said. "I meant anyone besides her" Kelsey said then noticed Alec being quiet.

"Don't tell me Lydia is your only ex all of these years we spent together, and I never knew you didn't have a girlfriend until Lydia well I guess with her technically fiancée but still you didn't have a relationship till her" Kelsey said.

"I just haven't had uh you know time for a real relationship you know" Alec said and took a sip of his drink.

"This is, this is good" Alec said. "Just so I'm clear you've never been in a relationship not even a secret one" Kelsey said and Alec stayed silent. "Okay got it" Kelsey said.

"You wanna know why I haven't been in a relationship because of you Kels" Alec said causing Kelsey to look at him. "Me" Kelsey said confused. "Cause they weren't you" Alec said.

"That is probably the sweetest thing I've ever heard" Kelsey said. "Really" Alec asked. "Yeah, the only thing is you're so innocent" Kelsey said.

"I'm some ways but I don't want you to treat me any different" Alec said.

"But you are different and it's a good thing you are you the exact person I fell for" Kelsey said.

"What about you" Alec asked. "I mean you must have had exes" Alec said. "What does that mean" Kelsey asked. "You know what it means" Alec said.

"Okay fine yes I had exes, but I'm gentle I'm a werewolf I have needs I was lucky enough to sneak them past my dad" Kelsey said.

"How many" Alec asked. "How many" Kelsey asked. "It's not a trick question you can round down if you want" Alec said.

"I don't need to truthfully, I haven't been with that many people maybe 3, 4" Kelsey said.

"I figured you be with more people than that" Alec said. "Well, they were more hookups than anything plus they weren't you" Kelsey said causing Alec to smile.

"Well, I'm always a sucker for night strolls" Kelsey said. "I remember that you used to love those its why I suggested it" Alec said. "I still do love them just only with you" Kelsey said.

"Well then expect more coming" Alec said. "Looking forward to it" Kelsey said and smiled causing Alec to smile at her.

"Oh, by the way I don't care how many people you've been with even if it's not that many" Alec said. "And I don't care how many you haven't been with" Kelsey said.

Alec then kissed Kelsey causing her to kiss him back. "I hear that, relationships they take effort" Alec said once he pulled away.

"I'm all for effort you should know that" Kelsey said and Alec kissed her once again causing Kelsey to kiss back.
