There was a knock, on Kelsey's door and Kelsey answered seeing Izzy. "Hey Izzy come in" Kelsey said and Izzy did as she closed the door behind her.

"Thought I'd find you here especially today if all days with it being" Izzy said. "Alec's wedding" Kelsey said, and Izzy sighed.

"You can say it Izzy it's not a bad word" Kelsey said. "Are you okay" Izzy asked.

"Am I okay with the fact that the man I have been in love with for years is marrying someone else" Kelsey asked and sighed. "Right silly question" Izzy said.

"Look all that matters to me is his happiness and if that means him marrying someone else cause he thinks it's the right thing to do that, that will truly make him happy so be it" Kelsey said.

"Are you going to the wedding" Izzy asked. "I don't know I was planning on skipping" Kelsey said.

"What no Kels you can't skip you have to go please" Izzy said.

"You want me to go to a we don't where I have to watch Alec get married in front of everyone" Kelsey asked. "Please he would want you there" Izzy said.

"Izzy not even your parents want me there I mean who would blame him I'm the miracle remember the half breed freak" Kelsey said.

"You are not a freak okay you're not you have to come and if they say anything they'll have to face me, and Alec just think about it" Izzy said and Kelsey nodded.

"How are we supposed to get any work done with all this going on" Jace asked going to Izzy with Kelsey.

"We haven't had a wedding here in years people are allowed to be excited" Izzy said. "Yeah bro cheer up" Kelsey said and Jace glared at her.

"Thats not funny" Jace said. "Yes, it is" Kelsey said. "We need to focus" Jace said. "Have you narrowed down the list of warlocks more powerful than Magnus Bane" Jace asked.

"I've got it down to 20 but it's gonna be hard to figure out which one cast that spell on Jocelyn" Izzy said.

"I don't care how tough it is we've gotta find him back at Renwick's I let Valentine go I won't make that mistake again we gotta wake up Jocelyn in case she heard anything about his plan" Jace said.

"Easier said than done right" Kelsey said sighing. "Have you spoken to Alec" Izzy asked Jace.

"He's probably busy what with wedding plans and all and I don't need to talk to anyone let's just stick to the mission okay" Jace said and left as Kelsey and Izzy looked at each other before looking back at Jace.

"You're getting married now Alec don't be silly we're still friends" Kelsey said. "I uh just came to wish you luck on the big day" Kelsey added.

"Thanks" Alec said, and Kelsey nodded. "Now I know this is what you want but always remember it's not too late to change your mind and please for me just please get married for you okay not for your parents or your family name or whatever okay I know I probably already told you that but I'm telling you again okay" Kelsey said.

"Okay" Alec said. "Are you coming to wedding" Alec asked hopeful.

Kelsey went to answer but stopped. "I guess you'll just have to see at the wedding" Kelsey said and smiled once more before leaving.

"There you are my beautiful daughter" Magnus said walking in Kelsey's room. "I been thinking" Kelsey said. "How long have you been here dad" Kelsey asked him.

"Doesn't matter but I will take a hug from my baby girl" Magnus said. Kelsey smiled before giving him a hug.

Magnus pulled away after a moment and smiled at Kelsey. "How are you" Magnus asked. "I'm fine" Kelsey said. "Kelsey in your dad don't lie to me" Magnus said.

"I just have to get through today and when it's over I'll be fine okay stop worrying" Kelsey said.

"I'm your dad I will always worry" Magnus said. "Well, I promise I'll be okay just got to get through today" Kelsey said.

"Are you going to the wedding" Magnus asked. "I don't know though Izzy thinks I should, and Alec asked if I was though I'm leaning towards skipping" Kelsey said.

"Don't skip" Magnus said as Kelsey looked at him.

"What you never know I seen the love that boy has for you maybe he'll surprise you I'll even go with you and if things take a different turn, then I'll have your favorite chocolate at home waiting with that movie you love so much and plenty of cats to cuddle with" Magnus said.

"Thanks dad I love you" Kelsey said. "I love you too" Magnus said.

"Jace you're coming to Alec's bachelor party right" Izzy asked as she and Kelsey made their way to Jace and Clary.

"No, he doesn't want me there and I'm swamped" Jace said. "You two seriously haven't worked things out yet" Izzy asked. "There's nothing to work out if he wants to talk, we'll talk" Jace said.

"Jace he's your parabatai" Kelsey said. "We have more important things going on than a bachelor party" Jace said.

"Come with me" Jace said walking away and Izzy, Clary and Kelsey followed him.

"We have a mole in the institute" Jace said. "We were attacked by a shax demon when we went to see Ragnor Fell" Clary said.

"The attack couldn't have been coincidence Valentine must have been tracking us" Jace said.

"You don't think someone from the institute told Valentine where you were going" Izzy asked.

"There's no other explanation" Clary said. "There has to be" Kelsey said. "No one here would betray us like that this is our family" Izzy said. "Not everyone's family yet" Jace said looking at Lydia.

"I swear if Lydia is the leak I'm gonna" Jace said when Clary interrupted. "Slow down we don't know if she did anything yet" Kelsey said.

"And wrongfully accusing someone of a crime is dangerous trust me I've been through it" Izzy said. "Lydia was right there when we were talking about Ragnor Fell if she's not gonna admit what she did I'm gonna make her admit it" Jace said.

"Jace don't" Kelsey said. "Jace stop you are too worked up to talk to anyone right now" Clary said stopping him. "Especially not an important envoy from the clave" Izzy said.

"Let me talk to Lydia if you accuse Alec's fiancée of treason you will ruin whatever relationship you have left with him" Clary said.

"Clary's right Jace if Lydia did this, she might not be so defensive with Clary I mean who knows she may even let her guard down slip up" Kelsey said.

"Fine but I wanna know everything she says" Jace said, and Clary left. "Have you thought about what I said are you going to the wedding" Izzy asked Kelsey.

"I'm still thinking about it" Kelsey said. "Okay" Izzy said and smiled at her causing Kelsey to smile back before she left.

Kelsey knocked on Magnus's door and waited for him to answer. Soon enough he did and saw Kelsey.

Munchkin" Magnus said. "Feel like going to a wedding with me because if you don't, I'll end up not going I can't go alone dad please" Kelsey said.

"And you won't be alone" Magnus said and Kelsey nodded.

"Come here" Magnus said and Kelsey hugged Magnus. "I'll be with you the whole time" Magnus said.

"What are you planning" Kelsey asked. "You'll see munchkin just trust me" Magnus said confusing Kelsey.

Before Lydia could mark a rune, on Alec's hand she stopped when she saw Kelsey and Magnus walked in.

Alec looked as well, and his eyes immediately went to Kelsey. Admiring how beautiful she was and the more he looked at her the more he wished he was with her.

They stared at each other for a moment not saying anything. "What's that warlock and miracle doing here" Maryse asked.

"Izzy did Alec invite Kelsey" Jace asked whispering. "Yes, but I didn't think she'd show" Izzy said. Maryse got up and went to Magnus.

"Magnus you and your daughter need to leave this wedding now" Maryse said. "Maryse this is between my daughter and your son we'll leave if she wants to or if he asks us too" Magnus said.

Magnus then pushed Kelsey a little closer backing up. Kelsey looked at Magnus before looking back at Alec who hadn't tore his eyes off of Kelsey.

"Are you gonna be okay buddy" Jace asked Alec. "Alec" Lydia said, and Alec finally looked at Lydia.

"Hey" Lydia said chucking. "I, I can't breathe" Alec said. "I know it's okay" Lydia said. "This was a mistake" Kelsey said shaking her head.

"I shouldn't have come here" Kelsey said. "I can't do this" Alec told Lydia. "I thought we were doing the right thing, but this isn't it" Alec said. "You don't have to explain" Lydia said.

"Lydia I'm sorry" Alec said. "Hey, you deserve to be happy okay I'll be fine" Lydia said and Alec turned around looking at everyone.

He saw Kelsey getting ready to turn around to leave and noticed Magnus stopped her turning her around.

"Just wait trust me" Magnus told her. Alec started heading towards Kelsey which Maryse noticed as she went to him. "Alec what are you doing" Maryse asked.

"Enough" Alec told her. He then made his way to Kelsey as Kelsey noticed.

Alec grabbed her by the waist and kissed her on the lips. Jace, Magnus, Clary, Simon, and Izzy all saw and smiled at them.

Kelsey couldn't help but kiss him back. After a moment they pulled away.

"What happened to having to do this for your family" Kelsey asked. "I want you more" Alec told Kelsey as she smiled.

"I want to be with you Kels more than friends" Alec said and then he looked at his parents who looked at him and left. Izzy made her way to Alec and Kelsey.

"Alec I am so proud of you" Izzy said causing Alec to smile and Simon made his way to them.

"Guys that was incredible it was like watching the live version of the graduate you know the Dustin Hoffman movie the amazing one" Simon said.

"You were Ben" Simon told Alec before mimicking Ben. "And you were Elaine" Simon told Kelsey. "I mean you're way more, prettier than her but still" Simon said as Kelsey smiled.

"But at the altar though you were like" Simon said demonstrating,

"Ben and then, and then now you're both sitting on the bus at the end of the movie both totally stoked but wondering like, what are we gonna do now you know" Simon said.

"Who invited the vampire" Alec asked. "Seriously" Simon said causing Kelsey to laugh as Alec looked at her full of love smiling at her.

"I pulled every item of magical importance from Ragnor's belongings, but I can't determine which will lead to the book of the white" Magnus said.

"Wait this bookmark I've seen it before in the alternate dimension you showed me a book of spells and this was in it, it must have been the book of the white" Clary said.

"If that's the case we can use the bookmark to track the owner of the book" Alec said. "Okay" Jace said going to when Magnus stopped him.

"Warlock tracking is stronger" Magnus said. "Unless you wanna sniff them out" Magnus said to Kelsey.

"Nah I'm good" Kelsey said and Magnus took the bookmark using his tracking powers.

"Well, there's good news and bad news" Magnus said once he saw who it was. "The good news is I know the owner" Magnus said. "The bad" Kelsey asked. "It's Camille" Magnus said.

"Camille" Clary said. "Looks like Raphael has her locked up in the basement of the hotel Dumort" Magnus said.

"Well after I punched her there's no way she'll help me" Clary said. "She won't have a choice" Jace said.

"And then there were two" Kelsey said. "Fine with me" Alec said as Kelsey smiled.

"Besides gives us some time to plan our first date" Alec said. "Kelsey smiled but then she noticed Maryse Robert.

Alec looked seeing them as well as they made their way to Alec and Kelsey. Kelsey walked away some leaning on the wall. "What have you done Alec to us this family" Maryse asked.

"This isn't about you" Alec said. "Of course, it is you are either being selfish or naive this wedding was your plan from the start and now you have humiliated us in front of the most respected members of the clave I don't even recognize you anymore" Maryse said.

"I'm the same person I've always been now everything's just out in the open" Alec said.

"And all for a miracle a half breed an abomination" Maryse said looking at Kelsey and left as Robert made his way to Alec.

"Just give her time" Robert said. "And you" Alec asked.

"I suppose I've noticed it the second Kelsey walked into your life" Robert said. "I just didn't pay much attention to it thinking it was just a crush" Robert said as Kelsey looked at him.

"Are you two in love" Robert asked. "It's still new but we will let you know though if it helps, I been in love with Alec for a long time, but it probably doesn't so" Kelsey said making her way to Alec.

"Actually, it may be early, but I do love her" Alec said and Kelsey smiled.

"Right" Robert said. "I better go check on mom" Robert said and left. "That went well" Kelsey said sighing.

"They'll come around" Alec told Kelsey who nodded.

"In the meantime, you wanna get a drink or go for some food sometime" Alec asked. "Alec Lightwood are you asking me on a date" Kelsey asked smiling.

"I am" Alec said. "In that case I'd love that" Kelsey said. "Great" Alec said smiling.
