Goblins in the Forest

Just as Rigel and Lenna were about to leave the King's throne room, some guards carrying the real terrorists entered. "Sire, after torturing these fiends, I've got them to confess being the true traitors to the kingdom." One of the guards explained. "What is the meaning of this! You mean to tell me that these two aren't the real criminals! That puts a big wrinkle in my plans. Well regardless, take the true terrorists to the dungeon and have the Warden decide how you'll torture them further." King Boric replied. Rigel went up to Lenna and whispered to her, "Hey, I have a plan. You may not like it but just trust me."
"Ok Rigel, go ahead with it." Lenna responded.
Rigel marched up to the King and told him, "Excuse me Your Majesty, but I have a proposal for you."
"What is it peasant? I have alot on my plate right now so make it quick." King Boric answered.
"If we still go and retrieve the Amulet of Sojor for you, then we want you to allow our parents to have a home in The Capital. Does that sound fair?" Rigel offered.
"Hmm. Yes that sounds fine. In fact it's almost one sided, the Amulet is worth so much more than any home in The Capital." King Boric said.
"So we will head out on our journey in the morning, we'll meet again when we get back." Rigel told him.
"That's if you even get back alive." The King sneered.
And with that, Rigel and Lenna exited the throne room, and walked out if the castle.
"I suppose we should find an inn to stay the night at." Lenna said.
"Yeah, we really should, it's getting pretty late." Rigel agreed.
So they headed over to the nearest inn, The Dragon Fang Inn. When they got inside they walked up to the man at the front desk.
"How many rooms would you like?"
The man asked.
Rigel and Lenna looked at each other and said, "Two rooms please."
"Alrighty then. If you want any liquor just ask. Also your rooms are the two on the right, furthest down the left hall." So they each walked into their rooms and went to sleep for the night. That night Rigel could hardly sleep, he was so excited to finally go on an adventure as he has always dreamed of. On the other hand, Lenna fell asleep easily and happily. As long as she was going to be with Rigel on this quest, she was more than happy and content. The following morning, they both got cleaned up, and met up outside the inn. "So are you ready to begin our quest Lenna?" Rigel asked.
"As ready as I'll ever be." She responded.
They made their way out of the city, into the forest that lies ahead. "This is Darkwood forest, we better watch out while we're here, monsters like Goblins and Kobolds are in here." Rigel informed Lenna.
"Thanks for the heads up." Lenna replied. The forest was really dark, barely any sunlight shined through the treetops. Lenna was frightened, so she grabbed onto Rigel's hand, and he led the way. They continued walking through the forest for a while, but then Rigel saw a faint light. He began to assume it was a campfire.
They started getting closer to the light, and Lenna noticed some shadows of unknown figures. "Um Rigel, what are those?" She asked, very nervously.
"Oh great. Looks like some Goblins to me. I guess going through this forest won't be so easy." Rigel answered.
Rigel drew his sword out of his sheath, and Lenna got some white magic spells ready on hand. Lenna nervously watched Rigel, curious as to what his next move will be, and before she knew it, Rigel was charging at full force towards the Goblins! "Come at me you freaks!" He yelled at them. A group of about 5 Goblins came running up to them. Rigel began slashing his sword at one of the Goblins, but another one came up behind him and sliced him in the back. "Rigel! Look out behind you!' Lenna yelled as he got cut in the back. As soon as that happened, Lenna cast a healing spell on Rigel's wound, and it began to clear up almost immediately. "Wow, thanks Lenna! I didn't know you were that skilled in white magic yet." Rigel thanked her.
"No problem! I've had alot of practice from my mother. Now get back in the fight, and don't worry I've got your back!" Lenna assured him. So the fight continued. Rigel felt more confident and began to attack the Goblins more vigorously, until he slayed every last one of them.
"WooHoo! Nice work Rigel! You really are great with a sword!" Lenna congratulated him. "You too Lenna! If it wasn't for your healing spells, we both wouldn't have survived that fight." Rigel told her.
"Let's continue our quest now, shall we?" Lenna asked.
"We shall." Rigel responded.
So they continued on their adventure, and finally made it out of Darkwood forest.
