Chapter 31

"Where did you disappear to?" June pulled me aside, cocking an eyebrow at me. I could tell she was suspicious and on to me, everyone had been on to Pierce and me lately. Looking around, I had seen everyone in conversations, too busy to notice. "Oh um, Pierce and I just had to talk about the plan when it comes to Mercury now that she's back-just trying to make sure he won't go crawling back to her." I had lied but felt guilty. It's not like I could tell her about Pierce and me, no one could know or we could both face being kicked.

"Doubtful." She sighed, placing her glass of white wine up to her lips "We all know how Pierce is always at Mercury's hands and feet whenever she calls. Why don't you tell him how you feel, maybe he'll actually drop her."

I whipped my head around when I felt a cold gust of wind hit my body, only to see the grand doors open to reveal Tucker who had walked in, examining the house before his eyes landing on mine. Tearing my eyes away from his, I looked over to June in hopes she would have any idea as to why he was here. After Tucker just disappeared for days I was surprised he had the balls to show up, after all, missing one meeting can result in suspension let alone him missing everything.

"Well Aspen, don't you look good tonight." Tucker had approached closer to me. "What are you doing here?" I snapped at him, not wanting to deal with Tucker or the shit he has already put me through.

"So first you don't wish me a happy birthday yesterday and now I'm not welcomed?" He cocked an eyebrow at me "And if you must know, Archer had invited me. He said I was not permanently kicked from the gang- but we had to go over a few things."

Was he serious? Archer was off his rocker for not kicking Tucker after all the chaos he had caused. I looked around as I prayed for Pierce to show up and get me out of this situation with Tucker. Cypress had pulled Juniper away, leaving me alone with Tucker. I wanted nothing to do with him especially after the bullshit he spurred when talking to a Coinston about me.

"Why would I wish a prick happy birthday?"

"Feisty as always, I always knew I liked that part of you. I mean what guy doesn't want a girl that can make things a little more interesting." Tucker added, "With that tight dress, I'm sure you know what you're trying to do- getting all the guy's attention, just hoping they'd get in your pants with any chance they could."

"Yeah and that guy would be me over you any day, but keep trying Sutton." Pierce's voice spoke up behind me and a wave of relief had come over me. I could fight my own battles but it was nice for someone to step in for you when you were tired of doing it. Pierce's eyes glared into Tuckers as they both stood in a stare-off, both not daring to look away.

"Not if she knew the true you." Tucker scoffed "Don't be fooled Ambrosia, Pierce puts on that charm of his to get any girl just so he can fuck them and leave. Do you know how many girls he's been with that had texted me begging me to talk to Pierce for them? Do you really just want to be another on his list?"

"I suggest you fuck off before I bash your head in again." Pierce gritted, before grabbing my hand and pulling me away from Tucker. Tucker had still been beaten up from the fight with Pierce, he had just been released from the hospital today- escaping with a concussion. His face would take some time to heal the cuts and bruises, but nothing more than that had happened.

"Do me a favor and stay away from him, so I don't get arrested again." Pierce pulled me into the kitchen while pouring two shots of pure vodka. We both picked up the shots before downing them together, the vodka burned my throat as it was stronger than the kinds I was used to. Pierce didn't flinch while I scrunched my face at the bitterness of it.

"Stay away from who?" Cypress looked between Pierce and me while June followed shortly behind him, stumbling into the kitchen. June walked over before pouring two drinks for her and Cypress while Cypress sent Pierce a look of suspicion.

"Tucker." I shifted in my spot, leaning against the counter. "Right..." Cypress trailed off as he took a drink from June, placing the glass up to his lips. I glanced over to Pierce, not knowing what to say or do. I knew that keeping us a secret was going to be a lot harder than we thought, with everyone onto us it was going to be almost impossible.

"Didn't know the party was in here." Mercury's voice joined into the mix of the kitchen, scanning over the four of us. She strutted over to the cabinets, bending down right in front of Pierce. I knew what she was trying to do and I bit my tongue back in order to not say anything. She searched through the bottom cabinets before standing up slowly, turning around to face Pierce.

"Well, there's no tequila. What a bust, Pierce how about you and I go outside for a bit, you can hit my bowl." Mercury inched closer to him and I averted my eyes away as I wanted to keep it together. I hated smoking as a whole and wasn't exactly the biggest fan of weed after Cayde spent most days we were together high as ever.

"I'm good." Pierce rolled his eyes, pushing Mercury away from him. "Oh come on, it'll be just like we used to." Mercury walked her fingers up his chest "Get high, stumble back to my house, then do what we do best."

"You know what Mercury?" I spoke up, stepping in between her and Pierce "You may need to find a new fuck buddy because I'm not going to stand here and watch you manipulate Pierce over and over again. Get a life."

"Oooo look at Aspen, thinking she has a chance to get between me and Pierce." She laughed "Oh sweetie we all know he'd rather be in my bed than yours. Give it up, you're just his distraction, for now, I was his first love.

The anger radiated through my body and I couldn't hold it back anymore. Mercury got under my skin like nobody else, she knew what got to me and used it to her advantage. I lunged at her, pushing her back to the counter as her body pushed back all the empty alcohol bottles, clashing against the ground.

Mercury pushed herself off the counter before throwing herself at me, pushing me down on the ground. Mercury threw a punch into my nose, making me flinch in the pain. The nose was one of the worst places to get punched from how sensitive the bone had been but I didn't let the pain stop me. Grabbing Mercury by the shoulders, I threw her off me and my body straddled hers while she laid on the ground. I sent a punch into Mercury's face while everyone shouted at the both of us to stop.

"Aspen!" Pierce shouted over Mercury's scream, wrapping his arms around my waist and forcefully pulling me off Mercury's body. Cypress picked up Mercury from the ground, holding her back as well while Mercury shouted at me "You fucking skank!"

My nose had been bleeding, the blood traveling down my skin and hovering above my lip while Mercury was bleeding as well in her lip. The kitchen was silent after Mercury's screams calmed down when Xander and the rest of the party had entered. Aster's face was written with anger, his eyes sending me a warning look.

"What the hell is going on!?" Xander shouted, everyone in complete silence. I knew this wasn't going to go over well, no matter what was said. My eyes glanced over to Mr. Gunner who's lips tugged up into a smirk before letting out a laugh in the silence. Mr. Gunner clapped his hands slowly while pushing through everybody "Well well Ambrosia, maybe you are like your mother."

Xander looked over to Juniper in hopes that she would explain the situation. Juniper looked over at me and I sent her a pleading look that she wouldn't completely out me because I did attack Mercury first. Juniper looked back at Xander before clearing her throat "Mercury was instigating Aspen and started a fight. Aspen was only defending herself."

"Bullshit!" Mercury shouted "Aspen went after me first! She was not defending herself! Pierce tell Xander what actually happened."

"What am I going to tell him? How you attacked Aspen after making numerous remarks to her?" Pierce glared at her "Fuck off Mercury, we all know you play the victim and are a liar. First the pregnancy now this, what's next?"

I was thankful that Pierce and Juniper were both willing to lie for the sake of me. In defense Mercury deserved every ounce of trouble she got in, we all knew she would manipulate her way out of it anyway. "I really didn't want to do this on Christmas!" Xander gritted "Mercury, you need to leave. If you're going to cause drama with other members you are not going to be here."

"What?!" She exclaimed, looking around frantically "They're lying! Aspen attacked me first! Mom, Dad! Say something!"

Mercury looked over to Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan who had stayed silent while Xander pointed his way out to the door. Mercury groaned before grabbing her purse and heading out the door while sending a glare my way. Even her own parents didn't stick up for her, which had surprised me after the comments Mrs. Sullivan had said to me earlier.

Everyone returned to their original spots, leaving the kitchen while gossip spread through everyone about what had just happened. I looked over to Aster who was furious, about to walk up to me but was pulled back to Evangeline. She whispered something into his ear before his face fell from the sternness. Aster looked back at me before following Evangeline out of the kitchen, leaving Pierce, Juniper, Cypress, and me.

"Are you ok?" June rushed over to me and I nodded in response while thanking her for lying for me. "Not a problem, Mercury hasn't been on my good side in a long time and I can't stand the comments she makes to you."

"Come on, I'll help you get cleaned up." Pierce nodded his head over to the bathroom that had been nearby. We entered the bathroom that wasn't small but wasn't huge unlike the other bathrooms in the house. It was a half bath, the walls were pure white with the counter a marble colored. Pierce slid me back onto the counter while he searched through the cabinets below the sink before pulling out a first aid kit.

"So you've been my girlfriend for less than an hour and you're already attacking other girls over me?" Pierce narrowed his eyes at me while placing the gauze up to the blood that had dripped onto my skin.

"You know I can't stand her." I rolled my eyes at the thought of Mercury "She does anything to get under my skin, I don't know what her personal vendetta against me is. She's hated me since I joined Crestmont."

"She's jealous of you." Pierce dabbed the blood away before tossing it in the garbage "You've been a threat to her since you stepped foot into New York. Most girls in Northeast are jealous of you, you're just so blind to it. But you cannot go after any girl who even looks at me, trust me I wanted to smash Tucker's face in but we have to just go along with it."

"Well keeping it a secret is going to be a lot harder than we thought," I mumbled under my breath while staring down at my hands. Pierce placed his fingers beneath my chin, forcing me to look up at him "But it's not forever. Just till we figure out how to tell Archer and Xander without flipping."

Pierce inched closer to my lips, his breath faltering across my lips. Pierce's lips brushed against mine before closing the gap in between us. I responded back to his kiss while his hands gripped the side of my hips, sliding down both of my thighs. Pierce's hand slipped under my dress before tracing his fingers against my bare skin while inching closer to the center of my legs.

There was knocking on the door, making Pierce and I jump away from each other before the door opened only to reveal Juniper. "I just wanted to make sure you were all good after the hit you took?" She asked and I nodded slightly in agreement that I was ok. Pierce sent Juniper a look before Juniper slowly backed out of the bathroom.

"Want to get going?" Pierce asked while sliding me off the countertop. I bit my lip, nodding slightly before I grabbing my leather jacket. We exited the house, bidding our goodbyes to everyone we passed by on the way out. Pushing the front door open I saw Mrs. Gunner, Mr. Gunner, Harley, Cypress, Mars, and Sawyer all standing on the front porch while taking a smoke break. I held back a cough as I inhaled all the cigarette smoke, trying not to make much of the scene.

"Aspen leaving so soon?" Mr. Gunner asked but his question came to a halt when Pierce exited the house behind me, pulling the door shut behind him. "Pierce drive safe, I'll see you at home." Mrs. Gunner tapped the end of her cigarette before turning to me "It was nice seeing you again Aspen."

She pulled me into a hug before bidding her goodbyes and I headed down the steps that led to the end of the driveway that had been gated in. I turned around, waiting for Pierce who whispered something to Cypress before joining me. I raised an eyebrow at him as I wondered what he had said but Pierce shrugged it off as we walked over to his challenger.

"Aster is going to kill me when he gets home." I sighed, running a hand through my hair as I glanced over to the time. It had been about eight o'clock already and the sky was already pitch black. Christmas was tomorrow so the roads were fairly busy while everyone rushed around to do their last-minute Christmas shopping. My dad always waited last minute and would always pull me along for Christmas shopping for my mom on Christmas Eve, every year without a doubt.

"Don't worry about him, I'm sure Xander has already convinced him that it was Mercury with how much she's been getting on his nerves lately." Pierce glanced over to me while keeping one hand on the steering wheel "Aster is just way too overprotective, he needs to let go a little bit."

Aster was overprotective but it was understandable at times. He was technically my legal guardian since I moved to New York and he promised to do anything to protect me. After getting myself caught up with a gang, it was only understandable that his protectiveness would kick in at an all-time high. After all the first day I moved he told me to stay away from Pierce Gunner and look at us now...

We arrived at Pierce's house soon enough and I joined him inside. The house was calm, unlike it typically was when Mr. Gunner was around. Pierce flipped the lights on, before intertwining his fingers with my and leading me up the staircase. We headed down the long hallway before turning into Pierce's bedroom which had been surprisingly clean.

I looked around the room while Pierce threw off his suit jacket and tie while unbuttoning the top few buttons to his shirt. I threw off my leather jacket and kicked off my heels before Pierce pulled me down onto his bed. His back was pressed up against the wooden wall while I turned on my side to face him. His grey eyes bored into mine as he ran his hands through my hair, tucking loose strands behind my ear.

"So why the name Pierce?" I asked randomly, the question always peaked at the back of my head. Pierce was a name I had never heard before but for some reason, it fits him so well. "My mom said when I was born that my eyes were such a piercing grey that she knew my name right there." Pierce explained "Nothing much more to it."

Grey eyes were so uncommon in today's world, it was astounding that Pierce and Juniper both ended up with them. The name did fit his eyes, Mrs. Gunner was right about them being a piercing grey. They were like crystals, so bright but holding so much behind them. I could get lost in Pierce's eyes for days if I could.

"Why Aspen?" He retorted. "Aspen Colorado." I answered blatantly "It's was where my mom was born, she went back every winter to see the mountains covered in snow. She always said it was the most beautiful thing she'd seen. So she insisted on the name Aspen, it was a reminder of something beautiful and where she came from."

"Well, you are most definitely beautiful," Pierce said softly, his eyes staring into mine. I could feel the blush creep on my cheeks as the words made my heart flutter in my chest. I couldn't believe this was real, it had all felt like a dream. If you would've told me I'd be dating Pierce Gunner when I had gotten here, I would've laughed in your face. We did come a long way though, it was your classic enemies to lovers love story.

"So is it true you really have a daddy kink?" I chuckled, bringing back up what Mercury had said at the warehouse the other day. Pierce rolled his eyes at me, not responding to my question. "I cannot say that I'm surprised." I continued.

"Oh and what about you Ambrosia?" He teased "What shit are you into. Choking? Degrading? Handcuffs? Golden showers?"

"You got me, my kink is definitely golden showers," I remarked sarcastically at Pierce's joke. He let out a small laugh before pulling me closer to his body. The warmth of his body radiated off him and onto me, a wave of warmth coming over me. Pierce gripped my thigh, while his eyes were fixated on my body. His grip tugged at my skin before he pushed my one leg onto his, resting on both of his legs.

Pierce's hands gripped at my skin before tracing circles along my leg. His eyes flickered from my legs to my eyes, before pressing his lips to mine. I responded to the kiss immediately but it wasn't a normal soft and gentle kiss. It was instead hungry and passionate while I tugged at Pierce's hair. He moved his body above me, hovering over me without his lips leaving mine.

His hands roamed my body as I laid flat against the mattress. My heart race picked up from the nervousness that started to take over my body. I hadn't been with a guy since Cayde and after everything Cayde had done to me I would turn down any guy that even tried to kiss me. My whole body felt hot and I squirmed below Pierce.

His tongue slid across my teeth before I granted him entry while his fingers slipped under my dress and made the way to the side of my hip. My hands slid down Pierce's chest, my palms pressed flat against them as he tugged at my thong. Pierce pushed the silky green dress upward, before sneaking his hands under the straps of my underwear.

His fingers inched downwards before landing in the center between my legs. His fingers pressed on my entrance, in order to tease me as I gripped at the back of his shirts. Pierce's lips broke away from mine as he breathed heavily while staring down at me "I'll only do it if you want me to and if you want me to stop at any time I will."

I nodded slightly in response and Pierce's eyes narrowed at me "Are you sure you want me to?" I knew Pierce wanted to make sure I was okay with it, after knowing about Cayde I knew he didn't want to push me past my boundaries. Normally I would've freaked out as the flashbacks played through my head with any guy but with Pierce it was different. I knew he understood on a personal level and would never push me if I wasn't comfortable. He made me feel safe, something no guy had done for me in a long time.

"I do," I stated sure that I wanted it. Pierce took no time to press his lips against mine while his fingers slipped under the black lacy thong I had on. His index and middle finger pressed against my entrance before slipping into me, making me moan softly at his touch.

"Fuck, you're tight." Pierce muttered against my lips before moving to my neck, pressing kisses along my skin. I could feel my knees become weak and tremble while pushed his fingers deeper into me. My hands slipped under Pierce's shirt, my nails digging into his skin. If this is what it was like to be with Pierce Gunner, I suddenly understood the craze about it. He pushed harder and faster while his thumb rubbed my clit.

"P-Pierce." I stuttered through the moans that had escaped my lips. His free hand was placed against the bed at the side of my head, keeping his body above mine. "Cūm for me." His words mumbled against my neck, making my stomach flip in knots. I couldn't explain the amount of pleasure that rushed through my body.

My eyes rolled back and I bit my lip to keep from any other moans to escape but failed. His fingers filled my walls and Pierce pinned my arm back, his fingers intertwining with mine. My heart raced and my breathing became heavy as I clutched onto his back. "I'm going to cūm." I mumbled but loud enough for Pierce to hear. He banged his fingers into me faster and I could feel my pelvis tighten. I soon came and Pierce pulled his fingers out of me slowly before placing a kiss on my forehead.

I tried to steady my breathing, my chest rising and falling as Pierce laid back down next to me. I looked over to him and Pierce's eyes met mine while a smirk tugged at his lips "You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that."

I moved my hand to his belt, feeling the hard-on he had beneath it. I tugged at it, wanting to loosen it but Pierce stopped my hands while his eyes bored into mine. "Trust me I want to, but I told you I'd never have sex with you unless you were completely sober."

"But we just-" I started, confused as to why Pierce was okay with that but not with sex. "It's different Aspen, you know it is." He sighed "You have no idea how much I want to flip you over and fuck the shit out of you but you were drinking at the party and I won't do that to you."

I understood what he was saying, but couldn't help but feel a little frustrated. Because Pierce knew first hand what I had gone through with Cayde, he was only trying to watch out for me. I knew that he wanted it to be special and be able to fully think for myself without any alcohol affecting my decision. In the end, I was thankful for Pierce and how careful he had been with me, even if it meant putting his pleasure aside.

"But what about you-" I started but Pierce's lips tugged up into a small smile "As long as I can make you feel good, then I feel good." This was a completely different side of Pierce, a side I would get used to seeing. This was the same Pierce that had sex with some girl he didn't even know her name and sent her away right after he got what he wanted out of her.

I guess Bad Boys do really have a soft spot...

"I guess it's just not normal for me." I admitted "When I was with Cayde he never cared about my pleasure, rarely ever finished me off. I was always the one that gave him it but never got anything in return. I just feel guilty that the roles are reversed."

Every weekend I went to see Cayde there was no question whether we were going to have sex. He'd bash me if I didn't shave every inch of my body and which resulted in me spending an hour in the bathroom before I'd go to see him. He'd use me for sex and once he had come, he'd return back to whatever he had done prior. I wasn't a priority to him and he didn't care whether I received pleasure or not. It wasn't till after we broke up that I realized that wasn't a fair relationship.

"I wasn't going to say anything because I didn't want to make you uncomfortable." Pierce paused "But there are things you could do other than sex if you seriously felt that guilty." I swallowed a lump in my throat as I knew exactly what Pierce had meant, but felt bad if I would just leave him in the dark.

"Ok. I will." I nodded slightly as I pushed myself off the bed, standing up straight while Pierce joined me. Pierce's arm snaked around my waist, pressing my body up against his "Aspen only if you want to. Don't force yourself if you don't want to."

"I want to. It's ok." I forced out, the nervousness taking over. It's not that I didn't want to do it, it's just that I was consumed with nervousness. Pierce had been with girl after girl and I had been with one guy in my whole life. Would I even compare? I didn't want anything in our relationship to be rushed either but I knew that Pierce and I both have felt the sexual tension building up since day one.

Tying my hair up in a ponytail, I knelt down on my knees before Pierce. He tugged at his belt, losing it before pulling it off. I gulped as I moved my hands slowly to the zipper of the dress pants he still had on from the party. I pulled the zipper down, letting Pierce's pants fall to the ground before he stepped out of them. Pierce was left in black boxers and I could see his bulge peeking through.

"Are you sure?" Pierce asked again, making my eyes snap up to him. I nodded slightly before Pierce pushed his waistband down and I froze in my spot. Let's just say Mercury wasn't lying about anything the other day. My stomach flipped, turning into knots as I stared and built up the courage to begin.

I inched my mouth closer, my lips brushing against his skin. Pierce grabbed onto my ponytail, forcing me to look up to him. "Don't tease me, Ambrosia." Pierce's grey eyes bored down into mine "I think you've done it long enough."

Pierce pushed himself into my mouth, my lips wrapping tightly as I puckered them. I closed my eyes tightly as I went through with the motions of bobbing my head back and forth. "Fuck." Pierce moaned as his grip on my hair tightened.

I moved my head up and down, my mouth being filled and the back of my throat being hit. Tears started to prick my eyes as I choked slightly. I took what I could in my mouth but it was more than I had been used to, especially when I hadn't done it in two years. My mouth salivated as I continued before I pulled away in order to breathe.

I looked up at Pierce as I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand from all of the spit that was built up. I spit in my hand before rubbing up and down his shaft, while Pierce moaned softy, gripping onto my hair. When my hand had grown tired, I pushed him back into my mouth as my head bobbed against int.

"Fuck, I'm going to cūm." Pierce muttered after a few minutes. My cheeks began sore and my knees became buried into the ground as they kept my position upright. I pushed my head further down, taking more in my mouth before I felt a warm liquid enter my mouth. Pierce finished and I swallowed all of it before pulling away to look up at him.

Pierce pulled his boxers back up before picking me up off the ground and pulling me down onto his lap. My mascara had run from the tears that pricked my eyes and I was certain my hair had managed to be tangled from Pierce's grip. Pulling my hair out of the ponytail that now hung low on my head, I ran a hand through my hair as Pierce wiped away from the mascara that had run.

"You have no idea how long I've wanted that," Pierce said breathlessly, wrapping his arms around me while his hands laid on my hips and pressing his forehead to mine "It was amazing."

It was the validation I needed to hear, it was something I hadn't done in a long time because of how vulnerable Cayde made me. Any kind of intimacy wasn't taken lightly, I would never be one to have casual sex. I wasn't worried about Pierce though, I knew he'd take it as fast or slow as I wanted to go. It felt nice to finally have this after thinking about it for so long no matter how much I tried to hide the thought.

A smile tugged up at my lips before I pressed them to Pierce's. He responded with a small kiss and I knew this exactly where I wanted to be.
