[PROFILE #7]
name: JEON JUNGKOOK.
age: 24.
occupation: professional assassin + jimin's half brother
specialty: none.
jeon jungkook knew he'd always be growing up in his brother's shadow. being the youngest in his family, jungkook was always sheltered and protected, away from danger or harm. jimin had left home earlier than expected, to be part of a dangerous scene. since they shared the same mother, jungkook always felt a longing for his older brother, to have him teach jungkook things like how to shave, and how to ride a skateboard.
unfortunately, none of those aspirations were attainable, for jimin was an assassin.
jungkook followed his brothers footsteps, landing himself among the same group as him. while he didn't have very many specialties, jungkook knew that he was good with his fists, and preferred that they do the talking instead of him.
that's why, when he heard that lu han was to be killed, he thought, what better way than to beat some sense into him?
he had quickly decided to catch lu han sometime later at night. jeon jungkook, being the youngest in bangtan, was babied, although not quite as much as his parents did. he appreciated the freedom, and the scene seemed enticing to him.
as he began to head out, he wrapped bandages around his fists, making sure he could throw a solid punch to break luhan's jaw. after hitting up the practice room for a bit, he decided to pick up coordinates on his target.
"yoongi hyung?" he poked his head into yoongi's office, seeing the latter with his head lolled to one side. their eyes met, yoongi sitting up straight to look at jungkook.
"yeah?"
"where was i supposed to go for the foreigner again?"
yoongi yawned, waving his hand over his mouth. "according to the file i have, he's in byulyi grocery store. if the parking lot is empty enough, just go."
"just go?" jungkook tilted his head, brown dyed hair in his dark eyes, raising a fist alongside a smirk. jungkook was one of the only members who liked joking around while they worked, compared to taking everything seriously.
"just go," yoongi shrugged, shooing the younger away.

after several minutes of being huddled next to a black mercedes-benz, jungkook noticed the figure approaching the car. he readied his fists, sizing up his opponent. luhan's hair was styled to perfection, two brown grocery bags clutched in his arms while he gingerly fished around for his car keys in his pocket, lips curled in as he struggled to grasp the metal. his handsome features seemed like they were chiseled into marble, painfully perfected without a single imperfection. while jungkook definitely looked like the stronger one between the two, he learned earlier on to not assume based on appearances.
he had received quite the nasty shock after asking jin to fight him for practice, which ended in swollen eyes and bruised jaws.
jungkook took no time in initiating his first swing, a horrifying crack sounding from luhan's jaw as he jumped out from behind the car, wildly aiming at luhan's face. luhan dropped his groceries, yelling profanities. "what the fuck?" he massaged his jaw, pain washing over his oriental features as he recovered from the hit, standing up to face jungkook, who was already breathing heavy. "think you can just punch a member of the SM wolves like that? i'm second in command, asswipe. and for your infor-"
"fuck the information," jungkook cut off, sending another punch to luhan's stomach. "i'm only here to finish my job, not to make conversation with an ahjussi."
"son of a-"
"good father. respected, like he should be." jungkook completed, pushing luhan down. "this is too much dialogue for me," he forced through clenched teeth, repeatedly kicking and punching at the now silent luhan.
once the deed was done, jungkook fled the scene quickly, not bothering to look back, leaving luhan to breathe his last breaths alone, or so he thought.
a figure approached luhan, their shoes polished to perfection. they crouched down next to luhan's body, seeing his chest rise and drop unevenly as his life was coming to a halt, "who was it?" they spoke, running a hand through their bleached blond hair.
"jeon jungkook, the youngest one." luhan wheezed out, eyes clenching at the bout of pain surging through his body.
"i won't let your death be in vain, brother."
luhan took his last breath, a single tear escaping his almond eyes as the pair of feet walked further away, vision going blank.
