EXTENDED SUMMARY
Megan Bloomfield had always been perfectly content with her life. She's on the middle school cheer squad, has a sporty boyfriend (even though he's not fun to kiss) and is fairly popular.

But when she's confronted by her cheer friends and her boyfriend, who insist they think she's a 'homo', all status & friends are lost. And for a ridiculous reason, too! Megan knows she's into boys.

Until she meets a group of losers and the fiery, beautiful Beverly Marsh, and her certainty is completely thrown off balance.

- Megan thinks about girls a lot, and their lips and shit, but she doesn't think that's abnormal, my clueless bean

- It's when she starts thinking about kissing Bev that she's like 'oh fuck'

- Her friends accuse her of being too touchy and staring and shit and call her a 'homo' & a 'pervert'

- She's super sad until she meets the Losers

- Her worst fear is everyone in the town finding out she likes girls

- Her and Bev should have an ending where they kiss and Megan's parents disown her (which isnt great) so she goes to Portland with Bev
