Author's pov

Riddhima woke up in the middle of the night to make milk for Ari, Then she strolled back to the room. In the darkroom, She found someone going close to the baby girl with the back facing Riddhima. He made a knife fly to Ari, But she Runs to the baby and stood in front of her bed closing her eyes, Nevertheless, the knife was dropped and the person was gone when she opened her eyes.

R: Oh my god !! (breathing heavily) Ari Baby, are you okay? (She hugged her thinking)  Does it mean not only Vansh But Also Ari is in danger ??? Why the attack was stopped when I came in the middle?  Does it mean The jinn doesn't want me dead? 

She went toward Vansh's room and knocked: Vansh! 

He opened the door, then got shocked: You are awake? 

R: Yes, and I wanted to check on you! 

V: I am fine, don't worry about me! How Is Ari? 

R: Ari was attacked! The jinn wants to kill her too! 

V: No  !! no !! This is not what is supposed to happen! Ari isn't supposed to be harmed! 

R(doubtfully): What did you do, Vansh? I know you are hiding something! Back then, You didn't call the jinn, Right? 

V: I did! 

R: You are lying! I can see it moreover that I called Ifrit many times, and whenever He comes, My mark starts shining! just like now! Ain't it Ifrit? 

V(closed his eyes feeling caught): Riddhima, Try to understand! 

R: Come out! 

Ifrit appeared and she looked at him: Let's test this! 

They were confused but then he felt the salt and holy water poured on him. 

R: you seem fine to me! Nothing happened to you! So it was a fake way of Perhaps a fake book???? Why were you both planning? 

V: I requested him to help me! 

R: and this is the way? by misleading me?

V: I didn't want to harm Ari Or Ishaani Or you! 

R: Too late, Now even Ari is involved, Won't you try to reach the jinn? Vansh someone is trying to kill the baby girl who isn't even one year old! Who has enmity with A baby? Now, I can understand what happened in the forest, There was a lion wanting to attack Ari, And it seems as If it couldn't see me! It was hypnotized to kill her! 

V: WHATTTTTT???? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME EARLIER?? 

R: Oh really? Do you think I would have recalled everything whilst seeing you turning blue due to the poison? All my attention was on how to save you, and I forgot about the incident! 

V: Now, I am doubting, Why didn't you tell me about this matter? 

Turning toward Ifrit who looked at them guiltily. 

R: there's something right? You know more still you don't want to tell us? 

I: I have to, for someone! 

R: how can you be so selfish? Vansh is dying! and you are protecting the one who wants to kill a baby? 

I: I am sorry! 

R: we don't need your sorry, We thought you were helping us, but you took advantage of the situation to waste our time. 

She went for a moment then came back with Ari: Can you see her dying? Look at her! 

Ifrit looked at the baby who gave him a wide smile then sighs: I am against what is happening, Still All I can say is that The jinn won't leave Ari alone! 

V: WHy?? (He disappeared and Vansh shouted) WHYYYYYYY???? WHERE ARE YOU??? TELL ME WHYYY??? 

R(put her hand on his shoulder): He went! 

V: No, How can he go? Try to call him !! 

R: He won't come unless he wants to! After the way he vanished with, I don't think he'll come back! 

She went to Ari to place her on the bed, and Vansh followed her. 

V(held her shoulders panicking): Riddhima, When I am no more, Please don't ever leave Ari's side even for a sec, Stay always with her, And protect her, Maybe If you go, She'll be attacked again! 

R: Relax Vansh! Nothing will happen! 

V: You have your powers, And you can keep her safe! 

R: If we'll think that way, Then I will be able to protect you too! 

V: Forget about me! I don't care!

R: focus, Did you hurt someone?  went into an accident? Something must happen before! When did it all start? 

V: The day on which we were attacked! Before that, we were peacefully living! 

R: then during that day? 

V: Other than the fight with you, Nothing happened !! 

R: This is not an accusation, right? 

V: It isn't!  Or else you would have let me die! I trust you, Riddhima! 

Her eyes meet his which held belief in her: Then How can I break your trust? I have never seen a father who loves his daughter to this extent, I mean, Maybe because I am an orphan, I am astonished! but where's your wife?

V: I am not married! 

R(sad): I am sorry, I didn't know that you lost your wife! 

V: No no, I was never married, Ari is not my daughter! 

R(open mouth): WHAAATTTTTT???????

V: I found her in the forest before there dying, I couldn't leave her alone thus I don't know why I saw myself in it, I am adopted too, that's why I wondered either I was at the same place !! We have always to pay off the debt, and Maybe God wanted me to do so with this method. She is my life, and I can't live without her! 

Riddhima hugged him when he narrated his story with the baby: Ari is lucky to have a father like you !! Who doesn't care about death as much as he is worried about her. Everyone was saying that I am too good, But It will be the first time I am telling someone that he is good. You are really good, Vansh! 

She distanced herself and they had a cute eye lock, She coughed embarrassedly! 

V's pov

I wish if only I have met you before! We would have made a happy family! The three of us! However, I am sure you won't let something happen to my Ari. 

R: wait !! Did you say forest? The same one?

V(confused): Yes! why? 

R: Nothing! I wanted just to confirm it! Now, Go and sleep, A long night! 

V: Please, Be careful! 

R: you said you trust me!

 V(smiled): I do! and I am going, Good night! 

She smiled wishing him back then closed the door, and the look on her face was changed: everything is related to Ari somehow! 

She closed her eyes, and he came: What do you want? 

R: the truth! 

I: About? 

R: Ari ! but first, tell me why you said you are doing it for someone? 

I: If the clans know what the jinn did,  It will be a big punishment! 

R: so you are protecting him? At least why? tell me the damn reason! 

I: An anger! An act of revenge! against our rules!

R: How is Ari related? 

I: Because Ari is the daughter of a king! 

R: WHAATTTTTT??????

I: she is A jinn too!

AN: I have been in problems, SO I request you guys, To bear me these days, as I am having bad panic attacks due to my previous depression.
