Siya & Kiyaan broke the hug. Vansh & Riddhima came out of shock & stood up from their respective tables & went towards them. Vansh reached first & his back was facing Riddhima, so they both have not seen each other. Riddhima also reached there but no one has noticed her till now as she was standing behind Vansh. Before she can speak anything Vansh called Siya.

VANSH: Siya princess.

Understanding his brother well Siya answered well.

SIYA: Vansh bhai meet him (pointing towards Kiyaan), he is Kiyaan Kapoor, my best friend but we lost contact when we were in 10th class & we are meeting now. Kiyaan meet him (side hugging Vansh), he is Vansh Raisinghania my eldest brother.

KIYAAN: Hello Mr. Raisinghania (forwarded his hand for handshake).

VANSH: Hello Mr. Kapoor (shaking hand with him).

Meanwhile Riddhima came forward & Kiyaan goes to her calling her Riddhima Di. But before Vansh & Siya could see Riddhima they heard a gunshot & turned. Hearing gunshots Riddhima & Kiyaan got alert & Vansh & Siya got tensed & scared. Kiyaan fastly turned table & all bent down protecting themselves.

The situation was like Vansh & Siya were behind Riddhima & Kiyaan. Riddhima was infront of Vansh & Kiyaan was infront of Siya. Signing each other from eyes Riddhima & Kiyaan activated their smart micro sensor chips attached in their watch & sent signal to their guards. Kiyaan & Riddhima covered their faces with masks & told Vansh & Siya to do the same (Here there is no corona, but Riddhima & Kiyaan uses masks to cover their face so their identity can not be revealed).

KIYAAN: Siya please cover your face (said while handing her his handkerchief) Mr. Raisinghania please you too cover your face. It is for the security reasons so the attackers can't recognise you now also & not in future too.

Vansh & Siya nodded & covered their face. As hiding them at this place was not safe Kiyaan & Riddhima peeped out from their sides to see if they can move to a safer place to protect themselves along with Siya & Vansh. One of the attackers behind the pillar shot at a time towards them unknowingly. Seeing this Siya got scared for Kiyaan & moved out which was going to catch the attacker's attention. Before it happens Kiyaan pulled Siya towards him & both hid under the other table.

As the attackers were coming towards them Riddhima signaled Kiyaan to move towards safe place. Before they can move attackers started firing blindly hiding themselves behind pillars. Holding Siya's hand protectively & giving cover to her Kiyaan moved towards east side of restaurant where kitchen was there. In order to divert attention Riddhima thrown the cutlery towards the north side of the area which was empty. Attackers got alert & due to that they moved towards that side. Grabbing opportunity Riddhima signaled Vansh with her hands to follow her. Vansh cooperating with her followed her. They both went towards the exit of the restaurant sneakily. Hiding themselves from attackers they both went behind a pillar in a corner. Kiyaan & Siya also reached the kitchen safely.

KIYAAN: All the staff members please cooperate. The police has been informed about the attacks

HEAD OF THE STAFF: Okay Sir. What we have to do?

KIYAAN: I've already locked the door. Please switch off the lights & hide yourselves under the counter. Don't panic & get out until the security personnel or police comes for the rescue. Don't make any type of noise & switch off the phones. Take knives & chilli powder & if need arises use it for your self defence.

All the staff cooperated & did all the things. Kiyaan & Siya both moved behind the fridge as there was a little space & hid themselves.

KIYAAN: Siya please switch off the mobile.

But Siya was feared & thus became numb. Kiyaan hugged her & patted her hair softly whispering sweet nothings.

KIYAAN: Cutie you are safe. Don't worry until I'm alive nothing will happen to you. Mein jab tak tumhare saath hun tumhare saaye par bhi aanch nahi aane dunga. Please trust your buddy.

Hearing this Siya remembered her Vansh Bhai. The.moments she spent with Vansh came to her mind, when he encouraged both the sisters. How he said "Until I'm alive duniya ki koi bhi rooh tum dono ko chu to kya tum dono ke aas paas bhi nahi aegi. I'll be always there by your side." Yesterday's moments of beach when he said hugging both the sisters: "You both are my princesses, my lifelines & until I'm alive I'll leave no stone unturned for fulfilling your dreams, wishes, happiness & safety." Remembering all these moments she realized her Vansh Bhai & her family is also in danger, with this heart wrenching, fear stricken realization made her panicked & continuous tears started flowing from her eyes thus wetting the blazer of Kiyaan. She broke the hug & looked at Kiyaan.

SIYA: Buddy Va... Vansh Bhai, my fa..family...

She could not complete the sentence & started crying vigorously. Kiyaan cupped her face & kissed her forehead lovingly to make her calm. With this gesture of him she calmed a little bit but was still sobbing. Feeling her little bit calm Kiyaan hugged her putting her head near his chest. Caressing her hairs & kissing on her head Kiyaan made her feel secured. She also hugged him back tightly listening his heart beats.

KIYAAN: Cutie I promise nothing will happen to Mr. Raisinghania & your family. I've already informed my guards & police has been informed also. Aur rahi baat Mr. Raisinghania ki to jab tak Riddhima Di unke saath hai unnhein kuch nahi hoga.

SIYA: But

KIYAAN: Give me your phone.

Siya gave Kiyaan her phone & kept on silent mode & gave her back.

When Siya took her phone a message came in her family group.

REHAAN: Vansh Bhai & Siya please silent the phone & we all are safe here. Please keep updating.

SIYA: I'm safe.

REHAAN: Vansh Bhai? His mobile internet is off.

Seeing this Siya asked Kiyaan.

SIYA: Please contact your Di & ask her if they both are safe?

Kiyaan nodded & signaled Riddhima to contact him.

Meanwhile the guards of Riddhima & Kiyaan got the threat signal so the security head ordered more guards to reach airport & also contacted the Cape Town police & South Africa's security department & informed them about the attack.

Seeing the signal Riddhima told Vansh to silent the phone & she herself kept her phone to silent mode. Both messaged their family that they are safe. All got relieved a bit as their dear ones were safe.

RIDDHIMA: Mr. Raisinghania it's not safe to stay here for a long time, we need to move from here.

Vansh sees that attackers are coming from the near by food cafe saying that it is empty.

VANSH: We can go to that cafe as its empty & they have cross checked it too, so they won't come there.

Riddhima nodded & after waiting they got an opportunity to reach there. Moving sneakily they reached there & hid behind a cupboard. They for a while removed masks from their face to catch proper breathe for sometime. While hiding there Riddhima & Vansh were so close to each other as there was a very little space. They both saw each other for the first time, their eyes met, heart skipped a beat & breathe hitched. They shared a cute eye lock. But a signal beeped in Riddhima's watch reminding her to contact Kiyaan. Riddhima called Kiyaan. Kiyaan picked it up immediately.

RIDDHIMA: Kiyaan are you there?

KIYAAN: Di are you both safe?

RIDDHIMA: Yes & are you both safe?

KIYAAN: Yes di we both are safe. Our guards has been informed & they have contacted the police too.

RIDDHIMA: Okay. Share your location to Arno (one of the trusted & most efficient guard of Ananta Empire, South Africa) & it's your responsibility to keep Siya safe.

KIYAAN: I know di. Take care of yourself. Keep updating.

RIDDHIMA: Ya.

They cut the call. Suddenly again they heard the sound of firing.

MORAL OF THE CHAPTER:
Though Siya & Kiyaan met each other after these many years, the trust they had for each other was so strong which proved their friendship. Sometimes the distance between the two people make their bond stronger but the main pillar is trust which should be strong. Also keep faith on your dear one's trust. Like Vansh kept faith on Siya's trust on Kiyaan & Siya kept faith on Kiyaan's trust on Riddhima which saved their lives. Also it shows the bond between Siya & Vansh that how much they trust each other that they could never doubt each other's choices & decisions.
