Chapter 13
**A/N: Hey all! Quick announcement to clear up a few things. 1) Updates for this and all my other fics will be slow going for a bit; I have other things going on in my life lol. 2) Those other things include writing a book that will be published, so please bare with me. 3)I don't want to put my stories on hold, so I've decided that for every chapter I finish of my original, I'll update 2 fics. The order will be, Twisted & Life Without Them, Street Racer & Rhythm & Grudges, and finally Academy Underground & Secrets Revealed. As you can see, there are a lot of current fics in the works, but they can't be my sole priority anymore, and I hope you understand and keep reading. Anywho, I'm done babbling. Enjoy**

I'm not sure what I'm more embarrassed by; the fact that Luke and Gabe seemed to know all of the words to Flawless, the gyrating and pelvic thrusts that they called dancing, or that I dated these yahoos and was heartbroken for years over them leaving me. I gotta say, it was starting to look like a three-way tie for world's most embarrassing moment.
As soon as Jaelyn connected to the apartments bluetooth and hit play, Luke and Gabriel took the stage, erm, floor. Gabriel lip synched the words right along with Beyonce's voice coming out of the speaker, his demeanor changing from annoyed at having to do this in the first place, to thugged out, as if I were a fool to challenge him to something this insane. He moved around the floor as if it were a stage, mouthing the words while making hand gestures to emphasize his point. Luke was being the ultimate hypeman, and when bow down bitches, came up, he threw his arm over Gabriel's shoulder, mouthing the words aggressively as he used his other hand to point at the ground.
From there, it all went left. They continued mouthing the words, but decided to go all out on the hard core dance moves. Luke took the bucking bad girl approach, and set his feet wide apart before dropping into a squat, fulling extending his arms and swinging them into claps each time they passed each other. He did all of this with a slight bounce while whipping his hair all around. I'm surprised he didn't get dizzy from all the movement. Gabriel surprised us all by turning around to show us his butt while he twerked, looking over his shoulder as he did so to show us that he could do it all.
I'm sure I wasn't the only one with bug eyes as we watched them, but honestly, I couldn't tell you. I could not keep my eyes off of the train wreck that was happening in front of me. I'd have to ask Corey at a later date if he had the security cameras running in the apartment, even though everyone was home, that NEEDED to be kept for prosperity and used for future blackmail.
No one said a word until the song went off, and even then it was still quiet until Marc fell out of his chair, his arms around his stomach as started to laugh boisterously. Marc's laugher caused a ripple effect in which everyone joined in, and that included Luke and Gabriel. There was not a dry eye in the room and it stayed that way for at least ten minutes. Everytime someone would try to stop, they'd look at Gabriel or Luke and start all over again. It took Marissa coming back into the room in confusion to reign us in.
"Ok, what the hell did I miss?" she asks with a light chuckle.
"Only the best dare ever!" Zerric manages to get out through his laughter.
"Oh, so you guys are still playing?" Her eyes dart around the room as her fingers flip the phone in her hand, ending it around and around.
"Well, we were," I start slowly. "Until you came out here looking like you had something to say."
"Karen's moving out," she whispers.
"What!?" Jaelyn exclaims. "She just told you she loves you. We all heard it. Don't tell me she's backing out now."
"No, no," Marissa shakes her head as she retakes her seat between Raven and Axel. "She's not trying to back out. She actually said that she wants to move forward. She's moving out because she thinks it's too soon for us to live together as a couple."
"Wait a hot second," I interrupt. "Are you telling me that you guys are finally going to be together?"
"Mhm," she nods shyly. "We're going on our first date tomorrow."
"Oh my God, Riss! I'm so happy for you guys." I squeal.
"Yeah, happy ecstatic," Gabriel comments dryly. "We just embarrassed our asses off, we better be getting back to this game!"
"Chill out, Diva," Darren comments. "We're getting to it."
"Diva!? I'll show you a diva-"
"Gabe," Luke hisses. "Not now."
"Fine," Gabe seethes. "But I'm not letting him get away with that."
"And you don't have to," I comment. "Let's get back to the game. Who's next?"
"My turn," Marc replies. "We go in the order of the circle, that way there's no back and forth with the same people." He tells Luke and Gabe when they look at him in question.
"Fair enough," Luke nods.
"Alright, Zerric, truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"Sweet," Marc smirks. "What's the most embarrassing thing you've done on a mission?"
"Yikes," Zerric's eyes get wide as he thinks about the missions he's been on before snapping his fingers. "The most embarrassing thing would have to be when Darren and I had to distract some pampered princess for a week. We had to do a swap mid day, but he didn't have the time to prep me before I went out there. Apparently they were having a pretty interesting conversation, that I obviously couldn't contribute to. Long story short, I ended up making the waiter spill some food on me in the restaurant. The worst part was that there was a camera crew there for whatever reason and they caught the whole thing on camera."
"Aww man," Marc laughs. "That's classic!"
"Ok, my turn," Brandon smirks. "Raven, truth or dare?"
"Dare," Raven scoffs, as if he would choose anything else.
"Alright, I dare you to take three shots-"
"Easy," Raven smirks.
"Of hot sauce," Brandon finishes, with a smirk of his own.
"Is nothing," Raven scoffs, puffing out his chest. "Bring the sauce."
Marissa smirks and stands up, since she's the closest on to the kitchen, and comes back out with a bottle of Diablo hot sauce. She pours the hot sauce in a double shot glass for Raven and hands it to him, barely containing her mirth. Raven frowns at her before taking the glass and knocking it back like it's nothing. We all sit silently waiting for the inevitable fall out. Raven does not disappoint. After a few seconds he stands and walks briskly to the kitchen to the sound of our laughter.
"Alright you fuckers, it's my turn," Gabriel annouces. "Sang, truth or dare?"
"How did I know," I sigh. "Might as well get this over with. Truth."
"Predictable," Luke smiles, earning a glare from Ryan, and a frown from me. Both of which he ignores.
"Alright Trouble, who the fuck have you been letting touch your hair!? I can see your split ends from here."
"Is that really what you want to know?" I question with a raised eyebrow.
"I'm starting off small," he frowns. "Humor me."
"Fine," I shrug. "I did it myself for a while, then I started going to Adam."
Gabriel gasps. "You did not! You did not let that basic stylist touch your hair!"
"You damn right I did," I smirk.
"That's low Sang," he pouts.
"Not as low as leaving in the dead of night without a word," Ryan mutters.
"Fuck you, Ryan," Gabriel explodes. "You don't know shit about why we left."
"I know that if you really loved her, like you claimed you do, you wouldn't have left without a word. Not with all the shit she was going through."
"Hey!" I shout before this gets any worse. "Now is not the time for this shit! We came here to have a good time, and get a good buzz. Next person to deliberately start an argument, leaves. I don't care what team you're on."
They both grudgingly agree and we manage to get back to the game. Sticking to lighter truths and dares, Luke dares Darren to run around the apartment naked, which isn't difficult for him at all since Jaelyn tells me that he has the heart of an exhibitionist, even though he doesn't look like it. Axel has Riss tell us her deepest fear, which happens to be of the eight legged variety. Her and Gabriel bond for a moment over that. Then Riss dares Jaelyn to dance to a song of her choice. Jaelyn tries to twerk to Booty Work, by T-Pain, but fails miserably.
Raven dares Luke to eat a handful of broccoli, he can't even put dressing on it to disguise the taste. He spends a while in the bathroom after that. Brushing his teeth to rid the taste of that foul vegetable from hell. It's when Corey asks Gabriel where they were for the past few years that things get a little more serious. I head to the kitchen for that round. I don't want to know where they've been off of a game of truth or dare. If they wanted me to know they'd tell me, but until then, I couldn't care less.
The rest of the night passes by pretty quickly, and soon we're too tired, or in Raven and Brandon's case, too drunk to continue the game. Luke and Gabriel leave to head back to wherever the hell they're staying, and the rest of us that don't live here, find places to sleep around the spacious living room.
