They encouraged me to fly
Use my mighty wings
Then they caged me in their challenges
Asked me to write those ten things

And so, here I sit
To type those those thoughts down
With a smile on my face
And not a single frown

Yes, that's the first thing
"Never take off that smile
And then even the grupmpiest of professor
Would instantly check your file."

Now I know what they'll say
Why bring the studies in
But then, to know my life
They've always been so keen

So let me tell them today
"Everyone can be a writer
Just let your heart flow
And embrace your emotions tighter."

That's how it is for me
I don't plan my stories much
I just pave an idea's pillar
And allow the words to rush

"Inspiration lies everywhere
You just need to grab it
For the seekers with an eye
There's always a bulb lit."

That's how my stories have emerged
From all the day-to-day talks
"If you just keep your heart open
Then anyone can open your locks."

Yes, yes, I know
The thoughts have diverged back to love
But then it's so enchanting
This thing they called love

"Love ain't just a word
It's a really magical thing
And you don't need to experience it
To write about this feeling."

That's how we writers are
We're alive and we can die
People admire this ability of ours
Of how easily we can lie

"Writers are the best liars around."
That ain't false, right?
If you choose to disagree
Then you just need to see some light

Come out of that darkness
Come, see this canvas glow
"The most beautiful emotion of our sky
Is its colorful rainbow."

But no, that's not it
There also the dusk and dawn
"Both, sunrise and sunset
Can rob you of your yawn."

So rainbow is done
Love is done
Even the sun has played it part
To add to our fun

So what can I say next?
Maybe something about magic
"Don't always believe what you see
The world is filled with the spells of magic."

And there, I'm done
Those ten things I've said
You can always ask for more
As my thoughts are free, not paid
