A bark from another alley
Triggers two from my own
At just an hour past midnight
The sleepy silence is torn

The dogs have got into a fight
It's more words than action
And just like an agitated chemical
A bark instantly gets a reaction

Luckily, minutes later it stops
The matter must not have been that big
The world once again goes to sleep
Allowing silence to continue its trick

And like it has done a million times before, silence consumes the noise again...
