(Joss stays hidden, trying not to move.)

Sygma: It is futile to hide boy. I will use you instead of Arya.

Joss: For what reason?!

Sygma: I have a mission, a promise. To save the life of something that doesn't have it. I will murder, use, steal and do everything in my power to achieve my goal.

Joss: Even take the life of other living things?!

Sygma: Life is a game where the strong take what they want from the weak. This time, I have taken the lives of your friends. That means that you and they are weak.

(Sygma moves in his quarters and set some things. He presses a button that transmit a message on the screen: Open.)

Joss: So, this is what we are to you, just pieces that you can have at your pleasure?

Sygma: Take my advice, this world is a cruel one. People are born and die. No one will give a crap if a farmer dies alongside his family, or if a soldier dies in the battle. The world only remembers those who show they deserve the right to conquer, to maintain order, to those who wish to live forever. For that end, I will even sell my body and soul, if I have one, for my purpose.

(Sygma puts his hand on the pod of Maria.)

Sygma: And for that end, I shall take your life, alongside your friends. Just as I took the life of those, I will do the same to you.

(Lacie finally arrives and bonds with Joss. He is infuriated by the statement, by his weakness, by not being able to protect those who were close to him, by being him.)

Joss: No more. Lacie, it is done?

Lacie: Yes. 10 doses were made.

Joss: Pass them to me.

Sygma: I will be the monster that hunt you!

Joss: Lacie, set priorities to heal and maintain vital organs functioning.

Lacie: Master, usage of more than 3 doses will cause several pain to all the body.

Joss: A price I will gladly pay.

(Joss stands in front of the monitors.)

Sygma: There you are. I will end this quickly and without pain.

Joss: You have said the truth. But...(he takes 10 doses of the black sludge that Bulwark and the other hunter took.)...I will show you what a true monster looks. No mercy for you.

(He injects it.)

Sygma: No! The tissue in all your body will decompose rapidly! I need that!!!

(The Deadman's body began to change drastically. His skin turned deep red. His veins could be seen. Part of his skin began to fell.)

Joss: YoU saiD thaT ThE ssssstronG surviiiiives. While the WEak dieS. You said YOU we'Re a Monster. I WILL SHOW YOU WHAT A TRUE MONSTER LOOKS!

(He became a hideous monster. His teeth became sharp. From his arm, 2 protuberances could be seen. His chest break, revealing his lungs and heart. They became sharp. From his mouth, a black ooze drops to the floor.)

Joss: RAAAAAAAAGHHH!!!

(Joss jumps and slams down with force, sending a shockwave through the hall of the lab.)

Sygma: STOP HIM NOW!

(The horde of hybrids launched themselves into Joss. He cleaves them with ease and rips them in mass. He jumps from wall to wall advancing towards Sygma. Lasers point at him and he evades. Weapons come out of the wall and keep shooting. Some bullets pass through his body.)

Lacie: Pain thresholds passed.

Joss: I WILL FIGHT THROUGH THE PAIN. KEEP GOING.

(With a horrendously voice, he keeps pushing, eating and slashing everything that was on his way. His chest opens and he begins to eat hybrids and metal alike. His teeth are sharp enough to even destroy obsidian armor. He gets near where Sygma is, but something grabs his left foot and slams Joss hard on the cold, steel floor. He tries to recover from the blow but was send straight to a wall by a quick. Upon regaining vision, he sees something standing in front of him.)

Sygma: Ultra beast: Chimera#1, DESTROY HIM!

(Joss recognizes the faces. The monster has Arachne's, Big guy's, Kobra's and the Silent One faces in the whole body.)

Chimera (Arachne): I Arachne will devour you!

(Joss spits blood and stands.)

Joss: LET'S SEE WHO DEVOURS WHO!

(The creature turns invisible and Joss sticks to the ceiling, waiting for the attack.)

Lacie: South, 2 feet away.

(Joss jumps and impales his 2 sword-like protuberances into the beast.)

Chimera (Kobra): Fuck!

(He swept Joss to a pod, crashing and destroying everything on his way. The Chimera grabs some hybrids and throws them at Joss.)

(Joss evades clinging to the walls. The Chimera raises his tail and begins to spill a very acidic venom everywhere.)

Sygma: Stupid! Be careful with the pods and the data!

(Joss takes this opportunity and dives, landing near the head. He pulls his right arm and when he was ready to end it, the face of Kaede comes in.)

Chimera (Kaede): Please, Jaeger, don't kill me!

(He hesitates and the Chimera grabs him and slams him to the ground, pinning him.)

Sygma: Why won't you understand it? They are all gone! Hahahaha!

Joss: KAEDE...

(The ground begins to crumble. With a surge of power and hatred, Joss grabs the giant arm.)

Chimera (Arachne): Finish him, quickly!

Chimera (Big Guy): I am hungry!!!

Chimera (Kobra): I am trying!

(Joss slices the arm clean. The Chimera takes few steps back, screaming in pain. Joss' skin turns even blacker.

(He slides and his blades shone with plasma energy. He cuts both legs, sending the giant to the ground. He jumps from wall to wall and cleaves out the remaining arms. The Chimera begins to scream in agony. He goes and stabs each face. Blood and oil came out. Only the face of Kaede remains. He closes his eyes and stabs it.)

Joss: REST IN PEACE, PARTNER.

(He turns to the screens.)

Joss: SYGMAAAAAAAA I AAM COMMMMING FOR YOUUUUUU!!!

(With beast-like moves he begins to dash at the location of Sygma.)

(Sygma closes every door with a strong metal and grabs a serum. Joss walks, breaking every door. He finds Sygma at the end. To his side, a pod with the remaining of a woman. He throws the head of a hybrid to his feet.)

Joss: YOU THOUGHT THIS WAS ENOUGH TO STOP ME?

Sygma: Stand back! I will finish this whole island!

(He takes a device out, but Joss destroys it with his blade. The scientist falls on his butt, crashing the serum. He turns his view to Maria. Joss does the same. He then climbs the wall and grabs the floating body, pulls it out and throws it on the ground.)

Sygma: Maria! No!!

Joss: WILL YOU STOP AND REPENT YOURSELF?!

Sygma: NEVER!

Joss: YOU HAVE CHOSEN BOTH DESTINIES.

(The Deadman grabs the corpse and opens his mouth. From it, the black ooze comes out and into the woman's body. It began to change until the corpse exploded.)

Sygma: Nononono!

(He tries to assemble the body parts. Joss glares at him.)

Sygma: I...I can save it. Yes yes. I will need more body parts. More organs. Then---

(A sharp sound was heard. Joss impaled the scientist. He turns his head to see the monster's cold gaze.)

Joss: IT IS OVER. LET HER REST IN PEACE.

(Sygma tries to grab the body of the dead woman but faints. Joss puts the body down and gushes of black ooze keeps coming out.)

Lacie: Critical vitals. Incapable of processing huge amounts of the enhancer.

Joss: FUCK!

(He looks at the pod from where he took Maria.)

Lacie: Processing. Pod will help with taking out the enhancer.

(Joss struggles to enter the pod. He let himself fall. The pod closes and the liquid inside begins to enter his body. He begins to exhale black fumes. He grabs his neck, and his veins protrude themselves. The green liquid quickly turns black and Joss couldn't be seen.)

(Bulwark makes it down and sees all the destruction. He walks pass all the body parts and Sygma's corpse. His x-ray shows Joss inside the pod, blackened by his ooze.)

T25: Readings suggest that he is in a cleaning phase. Caution of removal is advised.

Bulwark: Let's wait a moment. Let him clean himself out.

Berial: He he he ... Consume all the souls around here while you wait. It'll make us stronger; I promise.

Bulwark: But how?

Berial: Just open your heart and I'll do the rest.

(Bulwark sits down in front of the pod and he stretches his chest. His heart glows hot red and as the souls get closer to him, they become visible. Out of every experiment, every dead soldier and Sygma's soul gets consumed. The fragmentation of memories begins to collect into his mind. His muscle bulk up a little and his vein bulge. He takes deep breaths with his eyes closed and he can see all of their past, families, adventures and how they died. He saw through Sygma's eyes how Joss killed him. He smiles and laughs)

Bulwark: Fucking beast... Now Arya and Isabella are safe...

(Joss enters a deep state of sleep. He sees images of the past of Maria and Arya. How Maria met Sygma, their love flourished, and she met the tragic end. How Sygma tried many different ways of bringing her to life and he failed all the time. How Arya was born, her parents and how she was left in the island. How she met Isabella. Then young Arya and Maria met Joss.)

Maria: It is time...

Young Arya: For you to wake up.

(Both touched Joss and he awakes. The pod breaks and all the liquid spills everywhere. He gasps for air. He sees Bulwark.)

Lacie: Status report. Body cleanse 90%. DNA mutated with enhancer.

Joss: What?

Lacie: Your DNA changed. You will no longer be the same.

(He raises his view to Bulwark.)

Joss: Sup, bro.

(He looks at Joss with a calm look, he sighs)

Bulwark: Sup brother.

(He extends his hand to Joss)
