(Somewhere, around Oamni, the black guild Thanatos was around. This guild specialized in killing contracts. One of the top three was Metallicana. Inside, different kinds of assassins could be found. The Guild Master, Undine with his trusty pet, Blue, walk past some of their members. He feeds Blue some cookies. He shares some salutations amongst them and went to a closed-up room. Inside, there was a small female kid. There were tons of books lying around.)

Undine: Hello there Zer0. How's things?

Zer0: Not so very good...I'm almost finishing the last spell needed to move around huge amounts of persons around Oamni.

Undine: Something similar to how the guild moves?

Zer0: Something like that. The difference is that it only moves the guild, but the entrance stay stills. With my spell, we can get to anywhere in the world in an instant without being previously in that place.

Undine: Oh~ That sounds really difficult to do.

Zer0: Of course. Someone like you wouldn't understand.

Undine: Hey~ I'm your guild master you know.

Zero: Bah! Just a little more of black urchin spines, a little of wood from the Eternal Wood and... I need a catalyst...

(Undine searches the room)

Undine: Metallicana hasn't reported yet. It seems we will need to cancel the contract or send someone new to her last location.

(Zer0 approaches Undine without listening and makes a little cut in his index finger. Then she collects the blood and use it in her incantation.)

(Both Joss and Lacie begin to walk out of the giant forest. While doing so, Lacie asked about various things. One of them was a picture Joss held with care in his mind)

Joss: That is my grandmother. She was the most precious person to me.

Lacie: Where is she right now?

(Joss turned his face to the left.)

Joss: She died when I was in high school. The thing is, when they did the autopsy, nothing was found. No disease, no damage to any organ, nothing. My family didn't dwell too much in it.

Lacie: And what about your mother?

(Joss chuckled)

Joss: A religious fanatic...

(He grasped his shoulder. They spent some time walking in silence)

Lacie: And what about your mother?

Joss: He? Ha. He just disappeared one time. Next, I knew, he was dead. Nobody knows how. My mother remarried again. My brother hated him for leaving us. I really don't blame him.

(Joss semblance changed drastically. Lacie sensed that and changed topics quickly.)

Lacie: Can you show me which song do you like the most?

(He smiled)

Joss: Yes. Here.

(Lacie was in delight learning different kinds of genres)

Lacie: And this one?

Joss: That is jazz and blues. A kinda mellow tune. Great for dancing.

Lacie: And this one?

Joss: That is dubstep. Something kinda knew in my planet. It gets people pumping up.

Lacie: It is noisy.

Joss: You get accustomed to it.

Lacie: And this?

Joss: That is rock, one of my favorite type of music.

Lacie: It is very difficult to understand what they are saying.

(Joss shared a heartful laugh.)

Joss: They all say the same when they begin listening to rock. Once you---

(A huge explosion was heard. Joss stood in a defense stand.)

Joss: What...was that?

Lacie: My sensors indicate a huge amount of energy being cast at 20 miles to the south.

Joss: You should probably hide, Lacie.

(She walked behind some bushes, but was clearly visible)

Joss: (sighs) Joss follow me but stay behind. In case something happens, try defending yourself or run.

(He noticed that a massive smoke and flames were raising and came in the direction where Merlin and Co were resting. He dashed throw the forest until the little hut came to view. To his surprise, a horrendous scene was in front of him. Before him was a small creature, a dwarf, impaling Welf through his chest. The dwarf threw him to his left side.)

Dwarf: A truly shameful day to our ancestors. This is the best I can fight?

(Joss scanned quickly the area but didn't found Merlin and Anastacya. He saw far away Shion fighting a little kid. Shion's right arm was in blood)

Shion: Joss...RUN!

(The dwarf sees Joss and begins to approach him.)

Dwarf: Greetings human. I'm the dwarf called Barzark. I have instructions from the true queen, Queen Ravena to take your head and present it to her. So come, warrior, and lay your head to my feet.

Joss: Seriously, the people in this planet haven't seen a guy with dark skin... Listen here Bar...zy? I like my head where it is. Sorry, you must return to your queen empty handed.

Barzark: Then I will take it forcefully.

(The dwarf dashes with outstanding speed although his small height. Joss parries his giant axe just in time just in time.)

Joss (mind): WHAT THE FREAKING HELL!? This guy is freaking fast and strong!

(The continue to exchange blows but Joss is pushed back by the dwarf's force.)

Barzark: Hmmm? You are indeed a strong warrior. It seems I must get serious.

(Barzark muscles begin to grow, showing his vein. His aura grows bigger by the second.)

Barzark: I shall finish this with the next blow.

(After saying that, a sphere landed to their side. In it was Merlin. She was carrying and unconscious Anastacya and an injured Metalicana.)

Joss: Merlin! What is happening?!

Merlin: They just attacked us. They are searching...for you..

(In that instant, Shion was sent flying towards them.)

Shion: They are...very strong...

(Merlin grabbed Welf and pulled him close. The little kid fighting Shion appeared in sight.)

Kid: It's such a shame. And I thought the Hero was much more than that.

(There was silent after a moment. The sky turned dark. Rain began to fall. A strange figured came in sight. A woman with beautiful face comes near. Barzark and the kid bowed.)

Barark/kid: Miss Miranda!

(Miranda came closer and smiled at both)

Miranda: Found any worthy opponents?

Barzark: Nay. They are even weaker than Michael.

Michael: Hey!

(Miranda turns to Joss)

Miranda: So, you are the famous Deadman that I'm searching.

Joss: It seems I'm very famous in this planet. Everyone wants a piece of me.

Miranda: Our Queen has demanded that we return with your head. Or part of it. But since my arrival, I just found weaklings in every corner. Oamni has become a den of feeble creatures. I'm so ashamed of being a part of this...this place. There's no one capable of opposing me. They are all thrash, like her.

(From behind Miranda, a snake made of light, was around Vita, incapacitating her. Joss looked at her with sorrow, then diverted his gaze towards Miranda. Rage build inside of him.)

Joss: Let her go. She has nothing to do with this. Neither her or any of this people.

Miranda: A very tempting offer, but something I will not gain anything.

Joss: I'm here, aren't I? I could have chosen to run and leave everything behind, even them.

Miranda: True indeed. I must commend on that. It seems that you have some honor.

(She throws Vita half dead to where he is. He quickly searches for any damaged organ but finds nothing. Just some bruises and a broken bone. He cuts his wrist and puts it near her mouth. Drips of blood entered her lips.)

Joss: Don't worry Vita, I will end this quickly.

(He stands and looks at Miranda seriously.)

Joss: Let's have a match. 1 on 1. If I win, you will never bother me, or anyone related to me ever again.

Bazark: Bah! Why trouble us with your offers if we can just kill you and take your head with us if we want?

(Miranda raises his hand. Barazrk and Michael kneeled)

Miranda: Let's make this a little more interesting. If you can manage to hurt me, even scratch me, I will do as you say.

Joss: And if I don't?

Miranda: Do I need to say it?

Joss: Very well.

Merlin: Joss! Don't do it. You are not still in her league. She is one of the most powerful persons in this planet.

(He turns to her)

Joss: Don't worry Merlin, I always break my limits. Just prepare to leave immediately and make sure nobody dies. If worse comes to happen...take Vita with you.

(He closes his eyes.)

Joss (mind): I will end this in the first blows. Cerberus, are you there?

Cerberus: Yes. I was waiting for you. How will you do this?

Joss (mind): I will use primal transformation and end this in a flash.

Cerberus: You need to be careful. That woman...is very dangerous. Her aura is something I have never seen in my entire life. I would recommend...

Joss (mind): What? Fleeing? Come on Cer, a primal beast running away from battle. I had a better perspective of you.

Cerberus: (Grins) Let's show her what true power and fear is.

Joss (mind): That's the Cerberus I know.

(Joss prepares and stands in front of Miranda.)

Joss: How do I know you will abide by your word.

(Barzark stands with rage)

Barzark: HOW CAN YOU DOUBT THE WORD OF THE LADY?!

Miranda: Silence! (Looks at Joss) I will make an oath.

(She takes out her sword and makes a little cut in her hand)

Miranda: By Oamni, I will follow my word.

(Barzark and Michael were speechless as they watched the precious liquid fall to the earth.)

(Joss posed himself in a battle stand wereas Miranda stood there, watching him.)

Joss: Let's do this. He who makes a beast out of himself, gets read of the pain of being a man!
