(Joss quickly moves and puts on one of the armors and grabs the spear. He positions himself near the group and tries to see where the creature is.)

Arabella: 'Welp I guess we are starting off with a bang.' (She moves quickly and puts the female light armor and grabs the Warhammer.) 'You ready Lucy?'

(Lucy turns back into a little girl and places a nature enchantment.)

Lucy: Here is a little something extra, as long that I am around and are around the forest, you guys get thick dark oak armor layers. Its light weight but strong enough to take a direct hit from a sword... So, you are good - Gives a thumbs up-

U: Well, here's your first opponents, Nuckus and about 12 of them. Their skin is worth lots of money for newcomers; reason why... They are rare to find and the only way to get their attention is by... Well - he holds up a sack filled with fertilized eggs, size of a dollar- Now they are quite upset.

(10 Nuckus come running from the same direction and look like rampaging little monkeys climbing trees, stomping branches along the way.)

Arabella: 'Damn! I didn't know they would be this adorable! And so tiny!'

(Joss steps back in surprise and falls to the floor.)

Joss: What the fuck are those things?!

He then grabs the shield that was nearby and proceeds to run and stabs the first monster. Fluids begins to pour out of the monster and Joss makes a face of disgust as he sees the liquid)

U: Oh yea, forgot... Their blood is sticky... So be careful with your clothes - smiles and shifts up a tree-

Arabella: (With a look of utter sadness looks at the stampeding monsters) 'You guys aren't going to stop, right? I'm sorry for killing you cute-putties, but if you are coming to bite me and I don't know which diseases you carry I will smack you! C'mon Lucy, let us give these guys a concussion they will never forget!' (Arabella then grabs her Warhammer and smacks the three nearest baby things into the trees.) 'I'm sorry about that!'

Lucy: - Places her hands in front of her and looks at Arabella- Why do you apologize?

(Lucy's eyes turn dark green and a dark mist comes out of her hands. Skeletal hands grab two Nuckus and crushes them)

Arabella: 'Because I don't like hurting any living thing. It goes against every fiber of my being.' (Says Arabella while hitting the next two into the nearest tree and coming back for a backwards hammer throw to the next tree.)

(U is hovering on a tree branch when suddenly one Nuckus jumps at him from behind and all what happens is it go right through him)

U: - laughing- nice try little one.

(The Nuckus falls to the ground with the other One)

(As Joss heard what U said he decides to run with shield in hand and stabs one of the Nuckus that was on the floor in the head. He then takes out the spear and sees the liquid gushing out of the hole.

Joss: Fuck! That is just fucking nasty!!!

(He then turns and sees the other creature and decides to bash it with the shield and knocks it out with a tree)

Arabella: (Arabella sees the dead creatures and sheds three tears for them.) 'I'm sorry we had to end your life because we didn't understand what you wanted. We'll make sure you sacrifice is not in vain.'

'Mr. U! You said that their skins were very valuable, right? So, I am going to skin them. Anybody have a dagger with them?'

Joss: Mmmm... they were simple creatures Arabella.

(Joss then goes near the Nuckus who was knocked out in a tree and with the spear begins to open up it's body. As soon as he begins to open it, liquid starts to come out. Joss begins to analyze the creature's body.)

Joss: Mmmm.... interesting...

Arabella: (Makes a look of utter disgust and horror) 'Joss!!! That nuckus was still alive! What the heck are you doing?!'

(Joss looks at Arabella without any light in his eyes)

Joss: He was gonna die anytime soon. This is the law of the strongest. Besides, it will help us in the future if we know the composition of this creatures.

(U shifts down and goes over Joss's shoulder)

U: That's quite interresting.

Arabella: 'Joss there are several dead ones already around us that YOU killed already! There was no need to kill the already down for the count ones. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go and dissect some that were already dead.' (Throws one last look of disgust at Joss and walks towards a run through Nukus.)

Lucy: But no worries, if you want them back "alive" I can do that, Arabella.

(As Joss ends analyzing the dead body, he felt different. He could see the anatomy of the creatures he had killed)

Joss: What the fuck is this!? What's happening!?

Arabella: 'Really Lucy? Is it going to be alive alive or zombie alive?' (She says with a look of analytic curiosity.)

U: Hhmm ... What is the matter Joss?

Lucy: Mmm... Zombie alive

Joss: I can see...things...more correctly the anatomy of the creatures we killed. Is this normal U?

Arabella: 'Nah Lucy. Let them rest in peace. They deserve to rest after what we did to them, but if we find evil humans that are dead, we'll revive them. Hey Lucy, di you have a dagger? I still need to collect these pelts.'

U: It could be that whatever ability had in your past life is being ... Amplified. That's good.

- heard Arabella and makes a shadowy tentacle and takes out a sword from his body and passes it to her- So do not worry, sooner or later you will get used to it. Many have felt the same as you.

(Lucy prances around)

Lucy: O... K..

Arabella: (grabs the sword and starts skinning the nuckus starting by opening its belly.)

(Joss looks into the sky; he stares for a moment. Flashbacks run un his head and he remember the time when he had to go to his hospital to work, his patients getting better after some operations, and those that died in the operating room. He chuckles as he steps up and begins to look at Arabella and the rest. He then looks at his hands. Joss takes a deep breath, then begins to whistle a song and began to skin some of the Nuckus that was nearby)

(The group skins the Nuckus and U places the pelts inside of him to carry. After 30 minutes the group, finally out of the intense confusion, take a chance to admire the nature around. They travel North through the forest and reach a swamp, the smell being quite pleasant enough to endure. They see some of this world strange creatures, some that seem recognizable as for the salamanders, small frogs and insects; but just a shy bit bigger or different appendages and colors.)

Joss: Interesting. It seems that similar creatures live in this world too.

(Joss uses his new ability to see the creatures. He could see some but not everyone. He tries to see through U and Lucy, but he couldn't see beyond.)

Joss: So, where are we? What's the name of this place?

U: This place? ... It's just one of many swamps that we have in Rhindelm. This is "peaceful Creek" swamp and yes ... It is peaceful.

Well sometimes - Laughs-

Joss: Sometimes? (He lets out a laugh) So, we gonna find "something" in this swamp too?

U: That i know of... Probably. I usually have bad luck...but so far good luck with you two.

Lucy:- skipping on her tip toes- so tells us more about you two. How is your world compared to ours?

Joss: Bad luck. (He chuckles) I'm starting to like you U. And well...Lucy was it? It was kinda boring in some points and interesting in others. You can see everything and nothing at the same time.

Lucy: oooh ... And what did you do in your world? Were you a warrior?

Joss: I was an anesthetist. (Joss voice changed to a sweet tone). My job was to make you sleepy so other people could operate in your body and make you healthy again. Also, as part of my job, I needed to keep you alive.

(He smiles as he watches Lucy)

(Joss directs his vision to Arabella)

Joss: I'm sorry for what I did earlier with the Nuckus. I know that you are studying veterinary and you want to keep the lives of all creatures. I can't promise i wouldn't do it again, but I can assure you I will not do it in front of you.

Arabella: 'Well Lucy, I live in a chain of Islands called Hawaii. I would every Friday walk down the beach, taking a break in my studies, to just take in the marvels of nature. That's actually how I got here, by following a cat. That's why when I saw you for the first time, I thought it was you, the cat that led me here. And well I was a full-time veterinary student. I was able to advance quite a bit taking classes during the holidays, so that's why all I had left to do to graduate and take the oath.' (She looks off into the distance and gets starry eyed.) 'Joss, honestly, I can forgive this one transgression because I can blame the adrenaline and the fear for what occurred, but please let it not happen again while I'm around. That also goes for you Lucy, if you see you can get out of a fight without killing the creatures, I will be forever thankful. And Mr. U thank you for being our guide. We would've most likely been killed without your help so far.'

U: No worries dear, my kind aren't like me. That's all you have to be thankful for.

Lucy: - pouts and crosses her arms- But it no fun if you don't hear their bones crunch. - looks at U and notices his blank solid stare towards her-... I'll.. Do my best.

(U then smiles and turns toward the direction they were headed, and he begins to hear a familiar sound)

U: oh ... Hey Joss... Remember my bad luck?

Joss: Oh, for fucks sake! Don't tell me...

Arabella: 'Is it really taking action now?!'

(Joss quickly takes his shield and spear and takes an ofensive stand)

Arabella: (Gets her warhammer ready)

(The group are welcome by the presence of a species of Jaco Mosquitos. Lucy turns back into her human form and begins to chant, her voice sounding strained and scared)

Lucy: - Chanting-... Hadu matu... No no no ... Hadu maku gi.. Gi..

(One Jaco comes to sting Lucy and U spears it with 3 Shadow spikes, then proceeds to Cover the group)

U: Arabella calm her down for me... She is fatally allergic to Jaco's and for you Joss, help me!!

Arabella: 'Yes, Mr. U, I'm on it!' (She then went towards Lucy, picked her up and hugged her.) 'It's alright Lucy. Mr. U is going to protect us, and he'll make sure Joss does he's part too.'

(After seeing how Lucy began to act and the words of U, Joss rushed into action with spear in one hand and shield in the other, bashing some of the Jacos.)

Joss: U, I need to dissect one so I can use my new ability! Can you help me?

U: Got it, just keep my little girl away from these things.

(U places his hands on the floor and a group of hands begin to grab onto 8 Jacos, he then notices a few of the swarm are going around him and he makes a shadow bubble around Lucy and Arabella. The group sees the U begins to thin out)

Lucy: - Shaking- Nooo Papa don't do that...

(She successfully does a spell that makes some vines come from the trees and tangles 3 of the Jacos but then she loses focus and the Jacos Tear their way out of the vine)

Arabella: 'Lucy get behind me!' (She grabs her warhammer and swings with all her might at the Jacos and gets a hit on the things abdomen making it go towards Joss in uncontrolled flight.) 'Joss behind you!'

(Then she goes back to Lucy and grabs her by the waist and pets her head.) 'Don't worry Lucy, your dad and Joss can do this.'

(Joss sees the Warhammer going his way and dodges in time but falls to the floor. He then stands up but sees that his spear is broken.)

Joss: Fuck! NO!

(He crouches and see that blood is gushing out of his left hand)

Joss: Fuck! FUCK!

(U notice Joss falling and splits even more spikes and creates dark entity to take some of the stings for Joss. The Jacos that he had grabbed with the other shadow hands begin to sting his hands. U thins even more and begins to ooze dark matter.)

U: .... aah... Their things are worst today - Faintly laughs-

(Joss sees the Jaco going his way and he dodges but the Jaco cuts his hand and he falls to the floor. He stands to see his blood and Arabella with Lucy and U in pain.)

Joss: Fuck! NO!

(He crouches and see the blood on his left hand)

Arabella: (She feels helpless as she watches U and Joss get hurt. She feels powerless at the fear Lucy is feeling for her father, but she feels reluctant to kill these creatures. She remembers all the times she's felt this way, all the times she wasn't able to save a loved one, and she resolves to never let it happen again.) 'I will never, ever let people I care about die. NEVER AGAIN!' (Then suddenly she feels a surge of energy go through her and everything goes black and white in her vision.)

[Then suddenly Arabella started to faintly glow black, when multiple shadows shot from her form and started to advance at the remaining Jaco and paralyzed them, before all their wings were cut off. Arabella then starts to pant and collapses on the ground crouching exhausted on the ground.]

Arabella: 'Lu.....cy......are you...ok??? U? Joss?'

(His eyes began to go blank as he stares the group. He then hears a sweet voice and the image of a girl faintly in front of him. She disappears and appears behind him and begins to whisper: Use it.....use your blood...use it now...or they will die...

He then sees one of the Jacos on the floor and grabs his spear shattering it. His blood runs on the shattered parts turning them in sharp scalpels. He then begins to throw the scalpels at the remaining Jacos. The girl begins to giggle as she fades)

(Joss stands with blood in his left hand and the part of the spear now transformed into a small, sharp scalp. He begins to open all the Jacos he can find on the floor until there is no one of it alive. He then looks sharply at Arabella and Lucy and began to walk towards them)

(All of U's appendages slowly return to him and all dark matter and shadow returns but remains kneeled on the ground with his head down.)

Lucy: - shaking- Papa?... Are... Y ... Are you still... You?

(U remains silent but as his matter is returning the group sees his arms changing and turning into claws)

Lucy: - backs away and pulls on Arabella's and Joss Hands- Hide..

(Joss feels the touch of Lucy and regains consciousness. He then sees the blood and the scalpel.)

Joss: What? Where are we? Arabella?

(He then sees U beginning to transform and grabs Lucy's hand)

Arabella: 'You better explain later Lucy. Get up Joss, we better hide this doesn't look good.' (She then grabs Joss's hand and runs into the alcove of a halo tree.)

Joss: What the hell happened?! Why U is transforming?!

Arabella: (They make it into the alcove, and she starts to breathe in deeply.) 'Shut up! This is not a good situation to freak out in. So please do us a favor and shut up for now!' (She viciously whispers to Joss.) 'Come here Lucy, please.'

(Joss looks at Arabella and Lucy then calms himself)

Joss: Is Lucy ok? Is she hurt?

Arabella: 'I think she's just tired, and the fact that her father is reverting back to his natural form so, maybe that's why she's like this. Now keep quite!' (She whispers at Joss.)

(Joss ripped part of his clothes then makes a type of bandage for his hand)

Joss: Stay here and don't make any noise.

(He then takes few steps outside to see if U was there)
