(Merlin and Co. entered Aerilon with high spirits. They walked around the city, enjoying every part of the huge city. They stopped at some stands for food and sightseeing. Vita tries to grab Joss' hand but is timid. They walked until they arrived at a giant structure.)

Merlin: Okay children, please behave here. This is the university of this city. They are extremely careful of the things inside and I don't want trouble. (says while looking at Joss)

Joss: H-hey! Why me???

(Everyone laughs and entered the university. Inside there were giant bones of what seemed dragons and other creatures. Everyone was fascinated with such things. They walked until they were interrupted by a small person)

???: M-MERLIN?!

Merlin: Oh, it has been such a long time, David.

David: But for Oamni! It has been ages since I saw you around here!

(He runs and hugs her, then he realizes that she is Merlin and rapidly kneels)

David: I'm very sorry! Excuse my behavior!

Merlin: You are a longtime friend, please stand.

David: But you are the grand Merlin! I couldn't...

Merlin: It's okay.

David: Why do I have such a pleasure of having you in this place?

Merlin: I want to present to you my students. (She shows everyone, and the librarian smiles at them until he sees Joss. His reaction changes. Merlin notices it and talks)

Merlin: Okay boys and girls, go and look around but don't cause trouble. Joss?

Joss: Ok ok I got it!

(Everyone dispersed while Merlin and David began to talk)

David: Who is that boy?

Merlin: So, you noticed. His name is Joss McCain. He is a Deadman.

David: Are you really sure of what you are saying?! That race... it became extinct a very long time ago. Maybe he isn't---

Merlin: He is. I can vouch for his power and nature.

David: Merlin, with all due respect, you know why they were killed. You cannot have someone like him under your care. If someone knew about this...

Merlin: That is why I'm coming here today for, since I don't have anyone in which I can trust, David.

David: And that is?

Merlin: If anything were to happen to me, please, take care of them. Specially Joss.

David: Merlin, you know I would do anything for you, even give you my life, but this...it's out of my hands. This institution cannot take someone like him. Maybe the others, but him...

Merlin: It's just...the world is changing rapidly, and I cannot see what it will bestow upon him. I tried to read and see his future, but all I could see was a dark fog. I just want to make sure that at least there is a place in this world for him.

(She turns to see him.)

David: I can't make you promises...but I will try. (He smiles)

Merlin: Oh, thanks David!

David: It is nothing. Any other thing?

Merlin: A person, a girl will come to this place in search of information. Her name is Arabella. Please, treat her like if you were treating me.

David: That is a very...unusual request, but I can do it.

Merlin: She is a Dragonborn.

David: WHAT?! (He loses his composure and Merlin laughs in a soft voice)

Merlin: Yes.

David: T-This is revolutionary! This is a miracle!

Merlin: I know.

David: Where is this person?! ...

(Anastacya and Shion went shopping for books and plants, whereas Joss and Vita went for food and sightseeing. Vita enters a store while Joss waits outside. From behind, a girly voice calls him.)

Girl: Mr. Joss, hello.

Joss: Uh? Who are you? Do I know you?

Girl: Did you already forgot? I was one of those patients you helped when we were in the main city. My name is Rose. Please don't forget it. (She smiles briefly)

Joss: Emma...Emma...Don't ring a bell.

Emma: It's me!

(She walks to him, but stumbles and falls)

Joss: Oh, the clumsy girl!

Emma: Yes! Wait no!

Joss: I will not forget it now. And what are you doing here? Are you ok?

Emma: Yes, I feel perfectly after you took a look at me. I'm currently visiting this town. They say a dragon was the founder!!!

Joss: I highly doubt it...

Emma: But imagine it: A giant creature able to be the founder of a civilization. It would be awesome.

Joss:...I repeat, doubt it.

(She turns around)

Emma: Can I ask you a question?

Joss: Ask away.

Emma: Do you believe in destiny? (Her eyes give a piercing look at him)

Joss: Destiny? I don't usually believe in such things. I believe every living thing makes his/her own choices without being manipulated by someone or something.

Emma: But imagine it, something that has already chosen how you are going to act, think, move, or even eat, (She begins to walk in circles), it is...sad and funny at the same time. (She chuckles)

Joss: I don't really get you.

(She quickly turns to him)

Emma: Oh, don't pay me any mind! I just like to imagine a lot.

(She looks at the sky for a moment)

Emma: Oh damn! I almost forgot! I need to leave! Sorry for taking your time. See ya!

Joss: See ya...?

(She runs deeper into the town until she disappears. Vita exits the store with some fruits)

Vita: Is everything ok Master?

Joss: Yeah, just some crazy people. We better get going. It is almost dusk.

(Both of them walk outside the town until they find a huge cabin)

Shion: Typical of Merlin.

Vita: It looks beautiful!

(Merlin exits the cabin and waits to receive everyone when an eerie atmosphere surrounds them in plain sight. The tension rises and all of them try to find the source of it. Then, from path that leads farther outside the town, a small figure approaches, smiling and with bloodlust.)
