(In the middle of the town another Horn sounds off and this time a strong, deep voice speaks out. One of the beast Guards of the kingdom)

Guard: Lancer Month begins Now!!! Lancer Month Begin now!!! As a protocol, I must go over the laws. Rule one: Lancers are in a race to deliver, not assassination. Rule two: once one of them Reach the destination, it is over. Rule three, DO NOT INTERFERE WITH THEM.

Rule four and most important, they have the right and will kill whoever that interferes. We do not know to whom they will deliver and what exactly. But be aware. Continue on your day. The Queen sends her blessings and the world blesses us all.

(The beast and his fellow comrades head towards Joss's way)

(Just before Joss was out, the Great Mother hold his hand)

Great Mother: Remember Joss, you are not alone, you have friends on whom you can lean from time to time.

(Then suddenly, she hugged him. Joss startled at first, but then he hugged back.)

Joss: Thanks for everything, really.

(He stepped out of the shop and stare at the sky for a moment. Then he looked at his hands)

Joss: (Finally, I have the power to protect.)

(Wendy appears in Joss' shoulder)

Wendy: What'll do Master?

Joss: Well, first I have to find some kind power to energize my phone. Then, I need to rendezvous with Arabella and U and tell them that I'm going south.

Wendy: Will your friends be sad?

Joss: Meh, I highly doubt it.

Wendy: Well, if it's energy for your music box, we can find a lot of electric crystals in the market.

Joss: To the market we go then!

(On the other hand, Arabella spent her two weeks going around the Capital, looking for new information about her new world. She met a great many people that helped her and gladly helped guide her way towards true enlightenment in this strange new world. One particular person she met along the way guided her towards the Capitals University for the gain of communal knowledge. This person was a graduate mage from the school and gave her his recommendation for entry to the University. This person was Ancano. He was a High Elf from the University that held a scribe position in the library and took it upon himself to guide this young ladies way.)

Arabella: "Ancano, I can't begin to thank you enough. I cannot begin to fathom how I would have gotten into this institution without your help. Thank you."

Ancano: "Please Arabella, don't fret. I did all of this because I see the potential for you to become the greatest mage in our realm, and your companion towards everything living will make you a great asset to the real and the Queen; and because of that compassion was the reason I felt a need to help you."

Arabella: (Deeply blushing) "Thank you, sir. Now what do we do? This section of the library is filled to the brim with bird feathers from the last practical joke from the apprentices."

Ancano: "Well we. should start with summoning...." (He gets interrupted by the bell tolling in the city square) "Well this can wait for later. Come dear Arabella, you definitely do not want to miss this. Gurgeiss, would you mind starting the clean up?"

Gurgeiss: "Of course not Master, I'll start right away."

(After some time wondering in the market and having fun, Joss and Lucy found the crystals and were heading to where Lucas was and heard the sound of the horn, but Joss ignored it. After some walking they heard some noise in an alley. Inside there were hunters trying to take something. When Joss got closer, he noticed that they had corpses of different animals in strange sacks and they were trying to capture a one fang puppy, but a strange dark/red wolf was protecting it. The wolf was badly injured to the point of almost dying. Joss quickly acted and jumped in order to protect the creatures.)

Joss: What the hell are you guys doing?! Can't you see these animals are hurt?

Poacher #1: We know because we did it! Now move so we can capture that sweet golden money maker.

Poacher #2: You know how much a single fang pup cost? We can be fucking rich!

Joss: Well buddy, it seems you will not have this pup.

(Both poachers grin and took out their weapons.)

Wolf creature: (Stand aside human! I can take these monsters by myself)

Joss: (You can talk with telepathy?! Ok, this world is fucking freaking me out!)

Wolf: (I said stand down! I can-)

(The wolf suddenly collapses)

Joss: Don't worry, I can take these guys by myself!

(In that instant, a third poacher hits Joss from behind knocking him out. The three guys captured the puppy and were headed outside of the city.)

Poacher #2: We need to get out fast before Victor catches us!

Poacher #1: Don't sweat it. We have exactly 10 minutes before he notices us. Now run!

(After a brief moment Wendy wakes Joss)

Wendy: Master...Master!!!

Joss: W-what?! Arabella?? U?!

Wendy: No. You were having a dream.

Joss: And the puppy?!

Wendy: They got him.

Joss: Fuck!

(From the shadows of the alley, the wolf came, still wounded.)

Wolf: That's why I don't trust humans. They are weak, greedy creatures who breaks the balance of the World. They shouldn't exist...

(Joss stands)

Joss: I promise with my life, I will save the little guy.

Wolf: Promise? You? (The wolf laughed) What can you possible do if you couldn't even defend yourself. Besides, there is no gain for you in doing this.

(Joss turns around)

Joss: There is no reason in doing this. I want to do it because I want to.

(He begins to walk)

Joss: (And because if Arabella gets ahold of this, she will definitely kill me!!!)

(The wolf smirks)

Wolf: Ok human, I will help you track down those bastards.

(The wolf then jumps in the shadow of Joss.)

Wolf: Go south! There scent is heading there!

(Joss runs throughout the city until he is in the south path.)

(In the outskirts to the south, Joss finds two of the three poachers standing behind a tree. Then they crossed eyes.)

Poacher: Coming back for more, Mr. Hero?

Joss: Leave the little guy alone.

Wolf: (Be careful human, one of those have an ability that let him turn invisible.)

Joss: (Gotcha on that one.)

(The poachers took out their weapons, while Joss made out a blood dagger.)

Poacher #1: What the actual fuck?! A blood Manipulator?!

Poacher #2: Dude! We can become rich?! If we sold him to the right person!!!

Poacher #1: Change of plans boys! Let's take this one instead!!!

(They quickly sprinted towards Joss with blades in hand, but Joss is quicker and counters their attacks.)

Wolf: (Behind you human!!!)

(Joss quickly dodges the attack but is wounded by one of the poachers.)

Joss: Fuck! I'm still am unable to control this power!

Joss: (I don't want to use the demon mode. I don't want to create a bigger commotion.)

Wolf: (It's ok human. Just leave me. I can defeat these guys.)

Joss: (NO! I gave my word. I will take them out!)

Wolf: (I don't understand why you are doing this. There's no benefit for you in doing this.)

Joss:( I've told you before: It's because I want to do it. Now, rest there until I take care of this guys.)

(Joss began to exchange blows with the poachers, but he was being overwhelmed by them)

Poacher #1: Kid, just turn yourself. We are pros doing this.

Joss: That's what I said to your Mom last night while I was fucking her.

Poacher: Bad choice of words kid, now you die. Kill 'em boys!!!

(The poachers attacks became more coordinated and more fearsome until they made Joss fall.)

Joss: (Shit, I will have to use it.)

Wolf: (Do you regret your life, human?)

Joss: (I regret no shit! I lived my life my way. And if I'm going to die, so be it!)

(The wolf began to laugh dreadfully)

Wolf: (Who would thought that being with a human could be so entertaining. Let's go human!!!)

(At that moment, a dark light surged from the shadow of Joss)

Tie now the black thread

Tie now the roots of our veins

Our shadows will not be separated

Our blood will not come apart

Tie our souls seven times

Until the heavens becomes hell

Until the day becomes night

We are bounded for all eternity, forever!

Joss: COME FORTH AND DEVORE EVERYTHING, CERBERUS!!!!!!

(Gushing from the shadow of Joss came a feroucious beast, black as the night, red eyes and sharp fangs. In an instant, the creature ripped the throat of two poachers in front.)

Cerberus: I can smell you, invisible man.

(The third poacher ran to the inside of the city, but Cerberus bit one of his legs. The poacher cut his leg and was able to enter the city. Cerberus ate the leg and went to Joss. A strange symbol appeared in Joss' chest. They untied the little puppy.)

Cerberus: Here, go.

(Cerberus opened a portal and the little guy crossed it. Cerberus then fell to the floor.)

Joss: H-hey! Don't go dying on me! Shit!

(Joss grabs Cerberus who turned into a little dog.)

Joss: I know! Arabella most know how to treat him.

(Joss runs again to the city in search of Arabella)
