(At the ship, they are disrupted by Harlock)

(She coughs and she sees some blood. Nobody notices it)

Merlin: Ok, let's take a break. But don't wonder too far. I heard there's an uproar in town.

Everyone: Okay!

(Some time after that, Vita hears someone calling for help. She walks but only Joss sees as she walks away. She enters a forest and Joss follows until he grabs her by the hand.)

Joss: Where are you going?

Vita:...I heard someone asking for help...

Joss: We must be careful. Remember what Merlin said.

(Then both heard a voice calling for help. They rushed to the voice and found an old lady on the floor.)

Lady: Help please! I have fallen and can't get up!

Vita: Are you ok?

Lady: Oh, for Oamni! I think I broke my leg. Please, help me!

Joss: Vita, stay here. If anything happens, run in the opposite direction, and tell Merlin.

Vita: Ok.

(Joss swings with the vines until he is besides the lady. Joss approaches her with caution)

(She jumps with some vines until she lands beside Joss)

(She smiles. They kept walking until they saw a small cottage.)

Joss: Well lady, this is as far as we can get.

Lady: Thanks. Please, come inside. I will offer you something to drink and eat, since you took me all this way.

Joss: Thank you for your offer but I must decline. I have some place to be.

Lady: Are you sure? It is to Merlin?

(Joss takes a step back with Vita and assumes a fighting stance)

Lady: Don't be like that. Merlin and I are friends from a long time!

Joss: Really?

Lady: Yes. And don't call me Lady, call me Meb. Please come inside.

(They all entered. On the other hand, Merlin regained her strength.)

Merlin: Everything is better again.

Anastacya: Are you ok?

Merlin: Yes. Just the change of pace. (She smiles)

Merlin: Is everyone ready?

Shion: I can't find Joss nor Vita.

Merlin: No! No no no no!!!

(She began to run into the forest, leaving Shion and Anastacya behind)

(In the inside, the house was little and cozy. Joss is amazed at the decorations of little figures of dragons and scales. Meb prepares some drinks and cookies.)

Meb: You can sit if you like.

Joss: Thanks!

(They both sit and enjoy the view.)

Meb: Here are the drinks.

(They were white as snow. Vita takes it but Joss moves quickly to a part of the house filled with tooths of dragons.)

Joss: This is incredible!

Meb: Oh, I know!

(Vita falls but something catches her. Meb walks towards Joss)

Meb: Believe me, I know.

(She takes out a crystal black dagger and impales Joss in the back)

Joss: What the---

(The dagger broke and all the black liquid entered Joss' body. He then falls to the floor unconscious.)

(The skin of Meb falls only to reveal a witch)

Meb: Let's see if Oamni can do something about this.

(She crouches near Joss)

Meb: Destiny can be a bitch sometimes. Come, grab the boy, and leave quickly. This will turn into hell.

(A shadow grabs Joss and leaves the cottage. Merlin rushes with outstanding speed until she arrives at the door and makes it explode.)

Merlin: Mor-Meb-Dred.

Meb: Merlin.

(Merlin's eyes turn red with anger)

(Merlin sees that Vita is in the floor and turns her gaze to Meb)

Meb: This is going to hurt.

(Meb is thrown outside of the house. Merlin's body changes to one like a Phoenix. Her voice turns harshly)

Merlin: Just what the hell did you did?!

Meb: Me? Do something?

Merlin: Don't start Meb. I'm serious!

Meb: Well, why don't you find out?

(Merlin rushes to hit Meb but the latter is faster. She evades in time and attack)

Meb: Yol Thoor Shul!

(A great fire breath engulfed the area)

Meb: Come on Merlin! I know this isn't enough to take YOU down.

(Merlin makes the fire vanquish.)

Merlin: Release restriction level 4.

(Merlin became ethereal completely and with light movement she grabs Meb by the throat)

Merlin: What. The. Hell. Did. You. Do?

(Her eyes began to turn black. Meb tries to talk)

Meb: Tiid...Klo...UI...

(Time began to slow down. She then breaks free for Merlin.)

Meb: That's why you are all weak. It must suck to be a human.

(Meb makes small daggers appear and pierce Merlin with them)

Meb: Goodbye, Merlin.

(She began to walk away)

(Meb freezes for a moment)

Meb: I... can't...move...

(Merlin stands behind her. When Meb tries to turn, she sees that the thing she stabbed was an illusion)

Merlin: Don't try anything funny. You may be able to copy some of the dragon's magick, but you ARE NOT one of them!

(She pushes Meb inside the house. Merlin still follows, burning everything where she walks. She stands in front of Meb and catches a glimpse of the crystal dagger)

Merlin: Oh no! Where is it?!

(Meb laughs)

Merlin: Where. Is. It?

(Merlin's face and energy turns blacker by the minute. Meb stands with blood on her face)

Meb: You know how we, specially you, must always do as she commands. Oamni, does she truly exist? Does she care for any of us?

Merlin: Of course, she exists!

Meb: Have you seen her physical body? Have you touched her? We always, ALWAYS must do the biddings for her. We are nothing more than her puppets. Her playthings. Nothing more than ants for her.

Merlin: Shut up!

(She pushes Meb with force to the ground. Meb laughs)

Meb: You know it's true. I just gave hope to humanity. The gift we all lost the moment we are born. Choice. What if you could have chosen to stay living at the countryside, with him, not caring if another country goes to war? To have children? To live? To love?

(Merlin glares at her.)

Meb: But no, you were chosen to do her biddings. All that life, just wasted.

(Merlin releases Meb, grabs Vita and heads outside quickly)

Merlin: Curse you Meb!

(Merlin leaves. Meb stands)

(With a flick of her hands, Merlin incinerates the entire area with a mystical fire. She covers Vita's eyes, placing a sleeping spell on her and turns away. Screams of the witch could be heard in the entire area.)

(Merlin arrives to where Shion and Anastacya were)

Shion: What happened? Where's Joss?

Anastacya: Oh no Vita!

Merlin: She is ok. Just sleeping. I need that the two of you go to the port and try to find Joss.

Shion: But what happened to---

Merlin: Just...go.
