Three

The next day I struggled to get up. My body didn't feel up to what I had to do today but what I had to do wasn't that much. I had to see if Rhea agreed to all the terms of her contract which I knew she would, make a stock investment meeting, and finish Sophia's paperwork. That's all I had to do today.

Getting up, I made my way to the shower and instantly thought about Rhea. Ever since she came back to me, she has my head spinning, my heart beating, and my cock wanting more of her. She drives me wild and insane and sometimes I can't even focus on what I actually have to do.

Thinking about her, I remembered what her boyfriend Mike made her do. She trusted him and now he's gone against her and made her do something that could kill her. I know that she's got fight in her, but theres somethings that I know that she cant control.

Making a mental note in my head to have Dima find Mike, I walk out the bathroom, change, and walk down to the kitchen.

"Good morning, son," Father said, handing me a file. "This is everything that you'll need to know about the Italians."

"They already told me everything that I need to know," I said, tossing the file on the table. "We're good friends unlike you were when you were in the mafia."

My father and I have this love-hate relationship. I have to love him because he is my father, but I hate him because he left his wife and kids when he was in a bunch of debt with different mafias. It wasn't until his mother -my grandmother- came and told me that his role was passed down to me. Filled Up with anger, I did whatever I had to get my family safe and debt-free. Because of the choices I made, I have a better and stronger business that my father has ever made.

"What are we doing today, brother?" Dima asked as one of the maids hands me a cup of coffee.

"I need you to find a guy named Mike."

"Full name?"

"I don't know."

"Enzo, if you want me to fund someone, I need their full name."

"Then go to Seth," I said, grabbing my keys. "He'll find him."

Before Dima could say anything, I was already making my way to the door. Walking out and entering my car, I pulled out the driveway and headed over to the office. Making it there earlier than I normally do, I take my time walking in as I check my emails for new ones.

"Good morning, Mr. Spencer." Molly said, walking over to me by the elevator.

"Good morning, Molly."

"Ms. Rhea called and said that she's going to be a little late. Said that she had a family meeting."

"Okay." I said, walking into the elevator.

Swiping my office key card to go to the office instead of me having to walk to it, I thought about Rhea's father. The only person that I allowed into my home for meetings was him. No one else but him. He had my trust. Something some of the people that I work with doesn't yet have. I allowed him to roam my home without having to watch him. Being the person that I am, why did I let him do this? I'm the most fearful mafia in all of Spain and yet I let something slip. Now I have to pay the price for the decision I made.

Sighing in de-stress, I settled my things into my office before I grabbed a drink from the bar as I waited for the meeting. Thinking about what Dima showed me yesterday, I had to see if there was anything I could do to secure my money.

"Laya," I called on the intercom. "Ask Marcus from stock to send me new data for today."

"Um, sir. May I come in?"

"Is it that important?"

"It is, sir. It's about Marcus."

"Okay, then," I said, sighing. "Come in."

All I wanted was data. What's so important that Laya had to come into my office and tell me.

"Marcus' family called when I got in and told me that he was killed."

"Fuck," I said standing up. "Give them everything they need for his funeral."

"They're going to cremate him."

"Why?"

"His wife found a box late last night and when she opened it-"

"God no," I sighed. "Please tell me that she found him there?"

"She did," She said. "The family's scared and his wife has made an appointment to meet up with you to get protection for her kids."

"Call her and tell her that I came over today."

"Okay."

As Laya walked out, I did whatever it takes to keep calm. I can't lose my temper and go insane. I have to wait for this meeting to be over before I can do anything.

An hour and a half went by until Laya Molly called and said the guys were here. Having them come into my office, I blindly pour whiskey into three glasses.

"Mr. Spencer. They're ready for you."

"Have them come in."

"It's good to see your future brother- in-law." Duke greeted.

"Your father was supposed to be here, not you." I said, handing his right hand and him a glass.

"Well, as busy as my father is, he unfortunately couldn't make it, so by me being Sophia's soon to be husband, he sent me."

"I'm assuming that you want more than your father agreed." I said, walking over to my desk.

"Yeah. I mean, don't I have too," He asked, following me to the front of my desk. "After all, I going to marry the most fearful mafia of all of New York and Spain."

"You get one quarter of my company when you marry Sophia, so why waste your time now?" I asked as his right hand man passed me a file.

"In there is what my father wants and what I need," Duke said, ignoring my question. "I'm sure about how high the percentage is that wouldn't be a problem for you."

Looking through the pages, I immediately sign off of what Duke's father wants because it's always the same. As for Duke, what he wants is too high but not dangerously high.

"The contract says that you want 80% of what I make per sale."

"I've read it." He said, leaning back.

"Since you are your father's son, soon to be brother in law, and next in line for the mafia role, I'll treat you like I treat my business partners," I said, standing with a pen in hand. "For every sale that I make, you get me ten security vehicles, guns, drugs, and 4% of your sales. That shouldn't be hard since I'm only giving you everything that I make."

"What do you think," Duke asked his right hand. "Is this a good idea?"

"Hell yeah." He said as they both stood up.

"You have a deal, brother," Duke said as I signed his contract. "It's going to be good working with you."

"Same here."

After shaking hands and having Laya make copies and every single paper, I sit back in my chair and rest my eyes. I'm calm now, but inside I'm going insane. People that work for me are going against me and someone in my circle is killing off my important workers. Never had I thought I'd have to work things out on my own, but it seems like I have to.

Still resting, I hear the door open and close and assume that it's just Dima saying that he found Mike, but I had guessed wrong when she had sat in my lap. Still resting my eyes, I roam her lower body and make my way up her dress to find out that she doesn't have any panties.

"I'm guessing that you want to be fucked like yesterday."

"Maybe. Maybe not," Rhea said, climbing off. "Besides. We need to talk."

"About your contract?" I asked, still eyes closed.

"Yes and no."

"Yes?"

"At the end of the contract deals with marriage. We never discussed doing this."

"Yeah. Because it's fake unless you want a real one."

"No," She said, causing me to open my eyes. "Not yet anyway."

"So you don't want to help your family," I asked, watching her walk over to the windows. "Whether it's fake or not, I'll give them half of my company."

"Is that what you told my father?"

"Rhea," I said, walking over to her. "This is unlike you. You've always loved helping your family."

"I didn't sign the contract." She sighed.

"Okay. Then I'll still protect you."

"And what? Go against Dima?"

"How-"

"Seth is a friend of mine and I found out that he works for you."

"Whatever Dima told you, don't think about it. I want you here," I said, holding her face. "I need you here."

"And I can't stay." She said, pulling away.

"I'll deal with Zack and what happened," I said, holding her. "Just don't leave."

"If I stay, I'll be hurting you."

"What's going on, Rhea," I asked, feeling that she's holding something back. "You can tell me."

At this, she didn't say anything. Probably trying to decide on whether or not to tell me what she was afraid of. Unlike yesterday in the bathroom, I waited until she told me.

"I came back to tell you that my father was working for someone to take you down. I waited to tell you, but I needed to make sure that it was true, but Seth and I were left with a dead-end," She explained as I pulled away and walked over to my desk. "Whoever this mysterious person is, they're going to do whatever it takes to take you down."

"Whoever they are has just started."

"They have?"

"Yeah," I sighed. "I just learned that someone took money from me and today I found out that my head of stock Intel was just killed and sent to his family. If this is your father's doing, I'm hurting him."

"It's not," She said, walking over to me. "He can't kill to save his life and he doesn't have enough money to hack into a system like yours. Let alone hire someone."

"So, whoever's doing this is this mysterious person?"

"Yeah. Something Seth was working on when Dima had him look for Mike." She said, crossing her arms.

"What? Mike hurt you and forced you to kill someone. How am I supposed to let that go?"

"By letting it go with having the knowledge that you have me."

"So, Dima doesn't know where Mike is?" I asked, opening the envelope.

"Yep."

"You do know that I can still have him found, right?"

"Yeah."

"So let's make a deal," I said, handing her the contract. "Sign the contract and I won't find him."

"Fine. Only because I have something to do."

"Thank you." I said, smacking her ass as she walks past me and to her office.

Can't help but smirk, I walk behind my desk and start back on working on Sophia's paperwork. Throughout the process, I couldn't help but think of Rhea. My mind was flooded with every thought of wanting to have her naked body back on my desk, in my bathroom, and in my bed. She's going to be the death of me and it's no joke.

Putting my focus back to Sophia's papers, I massage my temples, then look up at her walking in.

"Good morning, brother."

"Did you really have to move the date up to this Friday?"

"You're not doing anything this Friday so stop being a big baby about it."

"Did you come to do your own paperwork?" I asked, handing all of her files before standing up.

"No, I came here because Dima said that there was a surprise visitor that wanted to see me."

"Did he tell you who it was?" I sighed.

"No. All he said was-"

Before Sophia could finish, Rhea walked out and they immediately made eye contact. Looking at my sister's expression, it was hard to tell if she was okay or not, but when she lunged at Rhea, I had my answer.

"You have so fucking nerve to be here, you slut!" Sophia yelled as I pulled her off of Rhea.

"I'm sorry, Sophia," Rhea said, standing back up. "I didn't know."

"I trusted you. I treated you like my sister. I was finally happy that Enzo fell in love with you because he didn't have to have to fuck different whores, but I was wrong. You hurt my brother," Sophia cried. "You hurt him and the only that made him better was saying that meeting you was a mistake."

Shit

I remembered saying that when Rhea left, but that was because she hurt me. Now that she's back, I don't think that anymore.

Hearing Sophia say this, I saw the hurt in Rhea's eyes. I hurt that I felt when she left. She came back because what she did was a mistake but I forgave her. If Dima or Sophia doesn't then how cares? I was the one who got hurt. Not them.

"Look. I'm sorry for what I did to your brother, but I didn't know that he fell in love with me," Rhea said. "If I had known, I would've stayed. I really would. I came back to tell him; to tell you that what I did was wrong and I shouldn't have hurt him."

"He may have forgave you because you're just some bitch he can fuck whenever his dick gets hard, but if you came back just to get my forgiveness, then you wasted your money."

"Sophia, that's enough." I growled.

"Don't use that fucking tone on me," She yelled. "I'm your sister."

"Yeah and I love you, but if you're going to be like this when Rhea's here, then ask father to sign all your papers."

"Really, Enzo? After what she put us through; what she put you through, you're taking her side?"

I'm not taking anyone's side," I said. "What I'm dealing with is too much that I can't have you fighting the women that I love and care for whenever you see her."

"THE WOMAN YOU LOVE!?"

"You know what," I said, taking Sophia's file and handing it to her. "You're in my office hurting my women. You may be my sister, but I won't help you if you're going to hurt her. So, when you're ready to come to me without fighting her, then I'll finish. Other than that, have father finish."

I love my sister but I also love Rhea. Never in my life would I want to have to choose between one of them, so with this, I'm just giving Sophia a fair warning. I just hope that she'll forgive Rhea.

Checking to see that Rhea was okay, I noticed that Sophia had walked and laid her file back on my desk. Walking towards the doors, she stopped.

"If she hurts you, I'm killing her and I don't care what you'll say."

"She hates me." Rhea said, a minute after Sophia left.

"She'll get over it." I said, holding her face.

"So, since I finished signing, what would you like me to do?"

"Go home."

"Enzo-"

"You need rest so go home," I said, kissing her forehead. "I'm heading out soon as well anyway."

"Fine." She sighed.

"Text me when you get home." I said as she walked to the door.

I knew I said that I was going to head out, but I can't. I need to know what the hell is going on with my men going against me. At this point I have to do something that I've never done before. I can't trust the people that work for me. The only ones that can be trusted are Dima, Sophia, mother, and Rhea. I have to close my circle as tight as I can so I can know what's going on at all times.

While I'm focusing on trying to finish signing Sophia's paperwork, Laya opens the door for Anika to come in.

"How are you?"

"Stressed out," I said, rubbing my temple. "I just have a lot on my mind. With Sophia's restaurant and business, it's way too much."

"Hey, Sophia opened two restaurants with your signature and they are doing great, so stop worrying about it," She stated. "The grand opening isn't until next month, so why worry?"

"That's the thing. She moved the deadline up without telling me."

"How long do you have?"

"Till Friday," I said as she gasped. "The papers have to be signed by the end of tonight, sent to the office tomorrow morning with payment, and let's not forget that the furniture has to be to her liking."

"Look, I helped by having some of my father's guys work on the inside of the restaurant. Tomorrow I'll take Sophia over there and see if she likes it."

"Thank you," I said. "And while you're at it, take her to the spa. She almost tried to kill my P.A."

"Hm. By the look in your eyes when you said P.A that there's something going on with the two of you," Anika hinted. "Does the most fearful mafia in love again?"

"You know, I hate talking about relationships with you." I sighed, walking over to the floor to ceiling windows. "You don't think it's weird for me to be in a relationship other than your sister?"

"Of course not. She died, so it's only right for you to move on and you did," She said walking up behind me. "I just hope that you didn't do the contract."

"I made it but she never signed it."

"Well, by the looks of this file on your desk, it shows otherwise."

Hearing this, all I could do was smirk as I watched the city below me. Rhea agreed to the marriage contract giving me complete control on whatever I desire.

Still standing by the window, Anika scoffed, as she walked over to stand next to me.

"What's up with you men making all these controlling contracts," She asked. "Yeah. I know they're made for us women to give up our control so you men can pleasure yourselves, but don't you think all of you are doing a little too much?"

"Rhea. She was the one that helped me get over your sister's death. I never meant to fall in love with her but I did. Before she knew anything, she had left and it hurt. For a few years I had to go through the hurt and the pain but then just yesterday, she came back,'' I explained. "I wanted to hate her and push her away, but at the same time, I missed and still loved her. This contract isn't just for a marriage-"

"It was like you said, Enzo. She didn't know," Anika said, following me on what I'm saying. "You don't have to do this."

"I don't expect you to understand,'' I said, facing her. "But she told me to use her and make her feel like she made me feel. I'm only doing what she wanted me to do."

"If you really like this woman, you won't do what your aunt did to you. You can't treat every woman a slut," She said, putting her hand on my shoulder. "Love this one better than the love you gave to Lisa."

Anika and I've been friends for the longest time. She'd helped me on whatever I needed and was the one who introduced me to Lisa. To what she's saying, I'm not treating Rhea as a slut. There's a difference on what I'm doing.

Taking her hands off my shoulders, I kissed the back of them, and turned around to look back out the windows.

"She's already agreed to the terms."

"Terms," She asked. "Enzo, the same ones my Luke gave me?"

"Yes, but just better," I said. "Luke wanted to take his time. I'm not. You have a choice to back out of it. Rhea doesn't."

"I don't even know what to say," She scoffed, crossing her hands over her chest. "You do know that what you're doing is sick, right?"

"No," I said, walking over to my desk. "But I do need you to help her. She probably didn't even read the terms and conditions."

"Fine," Ankia said, hugging me. "I'll see what my plans are and I'll talk to her about it. She does have the right to know what she got herself into."

"Yeah."
