It was on a Friday when Lucy came to get me I was going to two harbors to see Rex. The 4 hour drive was like torture. After we stopped for lunch, we barely got back on the road when Lucy got a phone call...It was the doctor saying the Rex can go home today. I was happy to hear it but I got to thinking that Rex lives alone in a apartment and there's some things he can't do. I was told that he would be staying with Lucy and she would need help taking care of him. Reluctantly I said I would help.

We got to the hospital around 12pm and that's when I saw how bad it was. They had him in a wheelchair and man did he look upset. I could tell he wanted to be up and walking but was confined to a chair. When we got home we helped Rex on the couch he said he wanted to be left alone and I started to worry. I asked if would be ok while I go to work he just turned his head away from me. I looked at Lucy than i kissed Rex goodbye and off to work I went. When I got home around 9:00 pm Rex was sleeping and Lucy was in the kitchen looking upset.

" What's wrong Lucy?" I asked worried.

She went on saying the Rex's car accident may have been planned out by someone. Apparently Rex told her what happened something that I tried to get out of him since he got here. She told me that Rex thought he saw a certain someone who to hurt him before in the passed out but he wasn't sure. The next morning Rex seemed to be in a better mood. He was sitting at the table smiling like the world was alright.

"Well looks like someone's happy" I say with a big smile.

"Good morning babe" Rex said with a grin.

I sat down next to him and ate my breakfast and have a good conversation until I brought up the car accident. He just looked at me with a blank stare and said he didn't want to talk about it. I respected his wishes and went on to talk about something else. Later I found myself sleeping beside him. He was watching TV and must of felt me moving around.

"I'm sorry for snapping at you earlier" Rex told me in a sorry voice.

"Its ok" I said comforting him. We just sat there watching the TV for a while then we hugged on other...Then we kissed.
