We begin at Hexside where students are now allowed to take multiple tracks.

Students like Mattholomule now being in the Construction and Illusion tracks.

Emira now in the Illusion and Healing tracks.

And Edric now in the Illusion, Potions and Beast Keeping tracks.

But more importantly, our story is with Amity, Willow and Gus in the cafeteria.

Amity: These are the last messages I got from Luz.

She says, showing the other two her tamagotchi.

Amity: She must've typed them quickly because I could decipher was, "Learned a lot of bad stuff", something, something, "Day of Unity", something, something, and "Don't scare 'em away"? I just don't know what any of it means.

Gus: What about all those hearts?

Amity: Oh. Um. Those are for me.

She chuckled with a blush on her face.

Willow: I was on my way to school I saw that Adam guy with some coven scouts.

Amity: What? Oh Titan. This is bad. If he's working with the Emperor-

She was cut off as the bell rang.

Amity and Willow went on ahead while Gus found and followed Flapjack, finding Hunter hiding in the school same as canon.

Gus then made it to the gym as all the school's students and teachers were gathered there.

Principal Bump: Uh, students, teachers, let me introduce the esteemed-

???: Please, Principal Bump, I deserve no accolades.

A man in a hood says before stepping up to the stage and removing his hood, revealing himself to be a witch with a lion-like tail.

???: Hello, everyone. My name is Adrian Graye, Head Witch of the Illusionist Coven.

He said as the students gasp and talk among themselves.

Adrian: Unfortunately, I'm not here with good news. The Emperor's Coven has plans to stop multitrack studies by inducting every Hexside student into a coven before the Day of Unity.

He said, earning gasps from all the multitrack students who had just gotten said multiple tracks.

Principal Bump: Don't worry. No one's magic is going to be sealed away. Head Witch Graye supports us and is here to help.

Adrian: Before any coven scouts come by, I'm going to make illusions of sigils on your wrists. They'll be temporary and harmless.

He said as Edric was brought up to the stage.

Edric: Woah, woah, woah. Wait. Wait. I just started the other tracks. Are you sure this is safe?

Adrian: Don't worry. Once a scout sees the fake sigil, they'll move on, and you can continue your studies in peace.

He says, to which Edric reluctantly pulls up his sleeve explaining his wrist.

Adrian: Now hold still.

He says, ready to put the sigil on him.

But Gus narrowed his eyes and realized something.

Gus: Stop!

He yelled, grabbing everyone's attention.

Gus: Don't trust him! He's hiding behind an illusion!

He says, creating a large spell circle which undos the illusion, revealing Adrian Graye to actually be a coven scout.

Edric gasped as he backs away with Principal Bump and the illusion teacher getting between them in a protective manner.

???: Cut! Ugh! Just cut!

A voice said, revealing that many coven scouts hiding in the gym through illusions.

The final illusion revealing the real Adrian Graye.

Adrian: All right. Couple of notes. Tom? That Adrian illusion was lacking a certain . . . hmm? You get me? Severing? That was really . . . poor work. You're on thin ice. And Captain? The read of your last line was just a little . . .

He makes a light grunt.

Captain: I don't know what that means.

Adrian: You'll figure it out.

He says before disappearing in blue smoke and reappearing behind Gus, grabbing his arm.

Adrian Graye: And you . . . well, you just ruined any chance we had at making this something.

Gus: You were gonna trick us into getting sigils!

He yelled as a scout placed a sigil printing glove on Adrian's right hand.

Adrian: Uh, yeah. I work for Belos. Kind of my job. But let's make sure you can never use your little illusion tricks again. Shall we?

He said as the sigil on the palm of his glove became that of the Abomination sigil, earring gasps from everyone.

Gus: No! Stay back! Sha-!

He was cut off from training as a cloth covered his mouth.

Adrian: So you have the human girl's power as well. All the more reason to get this over with.

Before Amity and Willow could shout Shazam, Gus's eyes glowed blue as the gym suddenly changed multiple times as the area was covered in a blue light.

This allowed everyone to scatter, Hunter swooping with Flapjack to knock Adrian the scout to the floor, grabbing Gus's hand and running off.

Hunter and Gus kept running for a bit before stopping with Hunter bumping into an illusion that looked like a town.

Hunter: Why are we here?!

He says before glancing up at Gus.

Hunter: Woah. Gus? Is your eye okay?

He asked as Gus's left eye was still glowing blue.

Gus groaned as the left side of his vision was blue.

Gus: My spell. It's still active.

Hunter: Well, you're a witch, so unspell it.

Gus: I can't! I don't know how! I've never made this big before!

Hunter: Well, if we're still in Hexside, we should find a teacher. Maybe they'll know how to help.

He says, dragging his hand across the building wall to make sure what was solid or not.

They later encountered a couple of coven scouts, to which Hunter attacked wielding Flapjack before getting captured in abomination goop.

Gus was about to help only for the scouts to tie him up with vines, covering his mouth.

Coven Scout 1: Wait. Is that the Golden Gaurd?

Coven Scout 2: Seriously? Dude, what the heck?! We're on the same side!

Coven Scout 1: Our deepest apologies, sir.

She says, releasing Hunter from the abomination goop.

Coven Scout 1: The Emperor sent out a search part for you. He's been worried sick!

Hunter: You don't say . . .

He says nervously.

Coven Scout 1: We'd be honored to escort you back to the castle, sir. I'm sure the Emperor will be thrilled to know you're okay.

Hunter: Uh, right! Yes! Of course! But before we go I'd like to say something.

He clears his throat.

Hunter: Shazam.

He says, a bolt of lightning hitting him, transforming the young witch and knocking out the scouts.

Hunter then rips the vines off of Gus.

Hunter: You okay?

Gus: Yeah. Follow me. I can tell what's real and not.

He says, the two making their way into what appears to be Gus's bedroom.

Gus then noticed Hunter shaking.

Gus: You all right?

Hunter: No. I'm not all right. The human and I . . . we found out the truth and now the emperor is looking for me. I don't know what he or Adam will do to me if I'm discovered! I gotta run! Hide somewhere! Just . . . just . . . !

Gus: Hey, try to breathe.

The young illusionist says, teaching Hunter a breathing exercise that Willow taught him.

Hunter went along with it and eventually relaxed before the two sat down together.

Gus: So . . . you ran away from the Emperor's Coven?

Hunter nodded.

Gus: And it's because you found out something you weren't supposed to?

Hunter: It's . . . complicated.

Gus: Does it have something to do with the Day of Unity?

The older Hunter looks at him surprised.

Gus: Luz sent a message to Amity about it, couldn't really understand it.

Hunter: I see.

Gus: Well, if you don't want to talk about it now, that's fine. Let's just try to find someone.

He says before the two continued making their way through this illusion labyrinth.

Meanwhile, Amity and Willow were fighting off coven scouts, neither teens needing to transform.

And unlike canon, Amity doesn't act overprotective of Willow due to the two, along with Gus and King, having trained together in using the powers of Shazam.

Thus, here Amity knows that Willow doesn't need her protection and isn't insecure about losing her childhood friend a second time.

Back with Gus & Hunter, the two end in a Hexside hallway with the monster mouth lockers.

Hunter: Is this real?

He says, to which Gus placed his hand onto a water fountain, pressing the switch to make the water flow.

Gus: Yes! We made it through the illusion! High five!

He says, holding his hand up.

Hunter was confused by this but raises his hand, Gus slapping his hand against the former Golden Guard's.

Not long after they saw Willow at the other side of the hall heading left at an intersection.

Gus: Willow!

Willow: Augustus! I've been looking everywhere for you!

She says before looking at Hunter.

Willow: Woah. What is he doing here?

Gus: Oh, don't worry. It's cool. He ran away from the Emperor's Coven. Also, he hasn't showered in a while. Be nice.

Willow: Interesting. Anyway, let's find the other before these illusions get any more . . .

She then makes a calm and quiet screech, which confused Hunter.

Gus: Yeah, let's get moving.

He says as he walks with Willow, only for Hunter to grab her arm.

Hunter: Who are you?!

Gus: What are you doing? Willow's on our side.

Hunter: That's not the captain.

Willow: You're scaring me, Hunter!

She says fearfully.

Hunter: Just think, Gus! Since when have we ever seen her be so fearful?

He says, to which Gus sees the truth in that, backing away from "Willow."

Adrain: Ugh! Again?! Cut!

The voice of the Illusion Head Witch yelled as "Willow" was revealing to be a tall female coven scout with cat-like ears.

Adrain: Severine!

She flinched as Adrian revealed himself.

Adrian: You had your chance, and you blew it! Not that I'm surprised.

Severine: But I-I followed all your notes.

Adrian: Well, he was still able to see through your shoddy performance. So maybe you should've figured out the note INSIDE the note.

He said as Severine walked away with her head hung low.

Adrian: And you two-

He says, looking towards Hunter and Gus.

Adrian: Are making my job very difficult.

Gus: Well, sucks to be you. Shazam!

He says, transforming before punching Adrian down the hallway.

And so, with their super speed they got away before any of the scouts could catch them.

They then appeared by the Healing Homeroom, to which the door opened revealing the real Willow.

Willow: Pst! In here!

She whispered, to which the adult Hunter and Gus entered.

Gus: Man I'm glad to see you, Willow.

He says, giving her a bear hug as he lifts the plant witch off the floor.

Hunter: How can we be sure you're all real?

Amity: What in Titan's name are you doing here?!

She yelled.

Hunter: Nevermind.

Principal Bump: Well, Mr. Golden Guard.

Hunter: . . . Hunter.

Principal Bump: I do not know why you were accompanying Augustus, but I kindly ask you tell your scouts to leave my school!

Edric: That's the Golden Guard?

Emira: Dude looks way taller than in the posters.

Matt Tholomule: I could probably take him.

They say as almost everyone in the room doesn't trust him.

Hunter: I'm not with the Emperor's Coven anymore, I . . . ran away.

Gus: It's true. I was with him the whole time. He helped me on our way here.

He says, to which Willow placed a hand on Hunter's shoulder.

Willow: If Gus trusts him, then I trust him too. And he can help us drive Head Witch Graye out of our school.

Hunter: Yes, um, I heard scouts getting orders from Graye to regroup in the gym. That's where we can attack.

Later, Adrian and all his scouts regrouped in the gym.

Adrian: So let me get this straight. I came here with the best the Illusion Coven has to offer and not one of you can capture a single student?!

He yells before the gym doors are blasted open as Hunter, Gus, Willow, Amity and the rest enter, ready for a fight.

Adrian: Attack!

He yelled, to which it was all out battle that was clearly in favor of our protagonists.

With Gus and Hunter, there wasn't even a need for Willow and Amity to transform.

But just when things seemed to be over, the roof the gym rumbling as four creatures came crashing through and landing on the floor, snarling at our protagonists.

Hunter: What the?!

Gus: What are these things?!

They yelled, to which Adrian chuckled.

Adrian: Some reinforcements thanks to that Adam fellow. Though a few minutes earlier would've been nice.

He said as four of the Seven Deadly Enemies of Man had arrived; Envy, Greed, Selfishness and Laziness.

The four creatures then attacked, Hunter and Gus standing between them and their allies.

The two Shazam wielders were tackled, both locked in a two against one battle.

Hunter and Gus fought them off, but each of these creatures were nearly as strong as they were, so they were quickly getting overwhelmed by fighting two at once.

Amity: Willow!

She called out to her childhood friend, the plant witch nodded, knowing what they had to do next.

Amity & Willow: Shazam!

They yelled as lightning bolts hit the two, transforming them both.

And here, my dear readers, you finally get to see Amity's transformation.

And so, the girls join in, turning the 4v2 into a 4v4, each of the Shazam wielders taking one of the sins.

And with the sins not being as strong as them individually, our protagonists were winning, the rest cheering them on.

After a while, the sins decided to retreat, but not before retrieving Adrian and the coven scouts, fleeing from Hexside.

Everyone celebrated with their victory before settling down.

Amity: To be honest, I didn't really like you much. Especially when you wrestled me to steal the portal key.

He says, making Hunter cringe at the mention of that day.

Amity: But I think I can trust you now.

She says, making Hunter smile.

Hunter: Thank you.

Skara: Hunter! What's going on at the castle?

Viney: Did you actually leave the Emperor's Coven?

Edric: Have you ever sneezed with your mask on?

Hunter looks towards Gus, who gives him a nod, to which he took a deep inhale.

Hunter: Everyone in the castle is traveling to the head for the Day of Unity. I did. And . . . I think so?

He says, answering Skara, Viney and Edric's questions in that order.

Edric: Gross.

Hunter: Listen, Emperor Belos has been lying to everyone. The Day of Unity isn't about the Titan or magic. It's much scarier than that.

He says as everyone looks at one another, chatting among themselves.

Hunter: It's a lot to explain.

Principal Bump steps forward.

Principal Bump: Then you'd better get started.

He says, to which Hunter nodded.
