Note: I DO NOT own The Owl House or DC Comics so don't report me, this is for entertainment purposes only.

Also, I should let you know that this chapter will be based on The Owl House Season 2, Episode 9.

The difference in episode 6 is that Luz uses the powers of Shazam to easily stop the Golden Guard from stealing the palisman, carrying him to safety before taking off.

In episode 7, Eda uses the powers of Shazam which prevents Raine from being captured by Kikimora.

Episode 8 is mostly the same as in canon, the difference being that Luz and Amity are on a date while Hooty tries to help Eda and King.

With that out of the way, I hope you enjoy the chapter.

Within the Emperor's castle, Belos was working inspecting a machine his men had been building for some time now.

It seemed to be in order, though it was missing an important element.

The doors opened as Kikimora had entered the room along with many others.

Belos panicked, his mask was off, so he quickly puts it back on before anyone could see his face.

Emperor Belos: Kikimora, were you successful in finding Titan's blood in Eclipse Lake?

Kikimora: Unfortunately not, my liege. Not a single drop could be found.

Emperor Belos: I see.

Kikimora: Forgive me, my liege. I shall not rest until I find Titan's blood as you requested.

Emperor Belos: Worry not, Kikimora. It has proven to me that the mines are dry. Instead, I have a rather tedious task for you.

Kikimora: What ever could it be, my liege?

Emperor Belos: The only other source of Titan's blood that can be found is in the Owl House. Bring me the portal to the human realm, along with it's key. Use any and all available coven members as you see fit.

Kikimora: I will accomplish my task immediately. Now move! All of you!

She ordered before they all exited the room as Belos stood there for a moment.

Emperor Belos: I know you are there, Hunter.

He said as the Golden Guard, now without his mask, gasped in surprise before revealing himself.

Hunter: I didn't mean to hide, Emperor Belos.

He said as the emperor removed his mask, smiling at the teen.

Hunter: This machine, can it really take us to the human realm?

Emperor Belos: Indeed. Or atleast it will, given time.

Hunter: Is it true that rain doesn't boil in the human realm?

Emperor Belos: It is. You know, I've been there before. Did I ever tell you that?

He asked, to which Hunter shook his head.

Emperor Belos: The trees there are green. Nights are quiet. I look forward to seeing it again. Now then, do tell me why you were spying on me?

He asks, still with a genuine smile.

Hunter: . . . The operation at the Knee. Why did you switch me out with Kikimora?

Emperor Belos: Everyone has a use, Hunter. Kikimora has her intricate little plans. The scouts carry out orders. And you, well, the Titan has big plans for you and it would be such a hassle to find a replacement. So, right now, you can be useful by staying safe in the castle.

He says while escorting him to the doorway.

Hunter: If this is punishment for failing my last mission, I swear I can do better.

He said as Belos continued to smile at the teen.

Emperor Belos: Good day, Hunter.

He says before closing the door, to which the teen runs off down the hall. He knows he can do better, he will get the portal and key if it's the last thing he does.

Meanwhile, Belos exited the room and enters his chambers. He then took a look at the black box, it's lightning symbol glowing a bright yellow as 4 more cracks appeared.

Emperor Belos: Hmmm.

He says, his eyes narrowing upon the box.

Meanwhile, at the owl house, Luz was hanging out in the living room with Amity, Willow and Gus.

Luz: So yeah, that's pretty much how Amity and I started dating.

Willow: I had a feeling there was something going on between you two.

Gus: I had my suspicions, but I wasn't sure.

Amity: Did you have to mention all the embarrassing parts?

She says with an embarrassed look.

Luz: Aw, don't be like that. Besides, it was . . . really cute to see you blush and faint.

She said, making Amity's face turn red.

Hooty: Hoot hoot! I spy with my little eye a bunch of bad guys coming this way.

Luz: Say what now?

The teen says before heading to the top floor on the balcony where Eda was looking out into the distance.

Luz: Eda, what's going on?

Eda: See for yourself.

She said as everyone looked to see an army of 100 witches, all from the Emperor's Coven, the Abomination Coven and the Beast Keeping Coven.

Luz: Woah! What the heck?!

Eda: Yeah and they're not alone.

She said, pointing towards the heads of the Abomination and Beast Keeping covens, Darius and Eberwolf. As well as a few Abomatons with Kikimora leading them.

Luz: Amity, why are your parent's abomatons with these guys?

She asked as Amity groaned.

Amity: I overheard my parents talking about the Emperor's Coven buying their Abomatons and offering them funding to make them stronger. I am so gonna give them an earful when I get home.

King: So what do we do?

Eda: Fight! What else? I'm not letting these guys anywhere near my house! You kids with me?

Luz: Of course we are! Right guys?

Amity: Yes.

Willow: We're with you guys.

Eda: Then let's go!

She says, cracking her knuckles as they all exited the owl house.

Luz: Okay, me and Eda will take them head on, the rest of you stay here and take care of anyone that slips past us.

Eda: And you better not let anyone inside!

Everyone: Got it!

Luz: You ready, Eda?

Eda: Always.

She said as Luz gives her a nod.

Luz: Shazam!

She said, transforming into her superhero form while Eda goes into Harpy mode.

Luz: Starting off with that?

Eda: Well, I figured I'd at least give them a fighting chance.

She says with a smirk before the two charges towards the army.

Kikimora: It's the human and the owl lady! Attack!

She commanded as their forces charged into battle only for Luz to send dozens of them flying as Eda came in right behind the human, attacking the rest.

Kikimora: Do not falter! We must carry out our mission!

She commanded as most of their forces attacked our duo while about 30 of them broke off and charged towards the owl house.

Amity: Here they come!

She said as they readied themselves for battle.

Hooty: You! Shall not! Pass! Hoot hoot!

The owl creature said as he stretches out, grabbing and attacking a few of the coven scouts while the others fought off the rest.

Amity using her abomination magic, Willow with plant magic, Gus with illusion magic and King with his sonic shout he learned not too long ago.

While all of that took place, Hunter was watching the battle from a distance, using a telescope as he looks to see if any of them had the portal key.

After a minute or so, he finally spots the key around Amity's neck.

Hunter then puts away the telescope before sneaking his way through the underbrush around the battlefield.

We now return to the Emperor's castle, Belos sitting on his throne as dozens of guards aimed their weapons at the black box, surrounding it in a circle as more and more cracks began to appear.

The box's lightning bolt hasn't stopped glowing since Belos saw it earlier, not wanting to take any risks as he waits patiently for whatever may come.

The guards were sweating profusely beneath their masks as the black box started crackling with electricity, levitating into the air as the cracks began to glow a yellow hue.

The guards backed away as the box explodes in a bright yellow light.

Belos just stares as he sees a human of middle eastern descent in the middle of his throne room, one knee and one hand on the floor before standing up to 6 feet and 3 inches in height.

The man looks around at the guards before looking towards Belos.

In an instant, the man grabs the emperor by the throat with super speed, shocking everyone.

Guard: My liege!

A guard yelled, all of them ready to attack only for Belos to raise his hand for them to halt, which they hesitantly obeyed.

Black Adam: You serve the wizard?

He asked as Belos tries to talk.

Emperor Belos: If you are referring to the one named, Shazam . . . I do not. I am Belos, emperor of the . . . Boiling Isles.

Black Adam: Hmph. An emperor of mere demons.

He says before releasing his grip on Belos before looking towards the ceiling.

Black Adam: Such powerful magic . . . it is similar to my own. Then the wizard has chosen a new champion. This will not stand.

He says before flying straight through the ceiling as the guards immediately ran up to Belos, asking if he was all right.

Back with our protagonists, Luz and Eda had defeated a total of 40 coven scouts and two of the Abomatons while Amity, Willow, Gus, King and Hooty had held off the 30 coven scouts that tried to attack the owl house.

All that's left are 30 remaining coven scouts, 2 more Abomatons as well as Darius, Eberwolf and Kikimora.

Kikimora looked frustrated while Darius used his magic to turn his body into abomination goop.

Eberwolf then uses his magic to give himself a more beast owl form, growing sharp fangs and claws in the process.

Eda: Just give it up already! You guys never stood a chance!

The owl lady says with a smirk, still in her harpy form.

Luz: She's right. We're giving you guys this one chance to surrender and leave peacefully or you can stay and keep getting your butts kicked.

Kikimora: I will not be threatened by miscreants! You will-!

She yells before being interrupted by a massive lightning bolt hitting the ground which sends everybody, aside from Luz, flying.

Luz: What the?! Where did-?

She says before cutting herself off, eyes widened as she looks to see Black Adam hovering a couple dozen feet above them.

Luz: No way! Teth-Adam?!

Black Adam: I see the wizard has told you of me. You are marked by his energy, the same as I. I will not allow another to be my equal. Now perish!

He yells, flying towards Luz, grabbing her as they shot out into the sky at super speed.

Eda: Luz!

She yelled out just as the coven members had just gotten back up.

Kikimora: I do not know what is happening, but now the odds have tipped in our favor! Destroy the owl lady!

She yelled as their remaining forces all charged towards Eda.

Eda: Ah, crud!

She yelled as she started fighting back.

King: Eda's in trouble, guys!

Willow: We have to help her!

Hooty: Go ahead, I got the house covered! Hoot hoot!

The owl creature said as Amity, Willow, Gus & King ran on over to help Eda.

But at about halfway to the battlefield, Amity was ambushed by Hunter as he tackled her to the ground.

Willow: Amity!

Amity: Just go! Help Eda!

She says before using abomination goop to throw Hunter off of her.

The others then continued running, trusting Amity to handle the Golden Guard on her own.

Meanwhile, Luz and Black Adam were currently in a tussle in the sky with Luz punching Adam in the face, forcing him to let go of her.

Luz then goes in for a punch only for Black Adam to catch it with his bare hand before headbutting her.

Black Adam: You fight like an amateur. I was a warrior in my time, trained to kill and subdue my enemies. And just look at you, pathetic. The Wizard should have known better than to send a woman to do a man's job.

He says while pummeling Luz with several punches before grabbing her by the neck.

Black Adam: Shazam!

He yelled, using Luz as a human shield as she gets struck by a lightning bolt, turning her back to normal.

Black Adam then raised an eyebrow as he gazed upon Luz's true form.

Luz: Oh crud! Sha-

She says before getting cut off by Black Adam grabbing her by the face, covering her mouth.

Black Adam: A child?

Black Adam couldn't hold in his laughter as Luz struggled to get out of his grip.

Black Adam: Oh, how desperate the Wizard must be.

He said, not noticing what was Luz was doing until it was too late as Luz puts a fire glyph in his eyes, tapping it as it creates an explosion.

This made Black Adam lose his grip on Luz as the teen started falling out of the sky.

Luz: Ahhhh! Shazam!

She yelled, lightning striking her as she transforms.

Luz: Call me whatever you want, Adam!

She yelled, punching Adam in the face.

Luz: It doesn't matter what you say!

She says before punching him again.

Luz: The Wizard chose me for a reason!

She punches him a third time.

Luz: And I'm gonna prove him right by stopping you once and for all!

She says before kicking him in the gut which gives them some distance before the two charges towards one another.

They let out a battle cry as they had their fists reeled back, eventually making contact as they punched each other in the face, causing a powerful shockwave throughout the isles.

The two clashed in a series of punches and kicks until Black Adam grabs Luz and sends her hurtling towards the ground.

Luz: Ow . . .

She said as she sat up from a large crater her fall had created, only for Black Adam to come crashing down, his foot pressing against her neck.

Black Adam: I did not spend 5,000 years escaping from that box to be thwarted by an insolent, immature child!

He yelled, his fist surging with electricity as he was ready to kill her.

But as he started thrusting his fist, he could feel a hand grasp his wrist.

Black Adam turned around only to get punched several hundred feet away into a mountain by a transformed Eda.

Eda: Hands off my kid!

She says before looking at Luz.

Eda: So I'm guessing he's that Adam guy you and the wizard were talking about it?

Luz: Yeah. Looks like he escaped his prison.

Eda: Then let's lock him up again.

She said, helping Luz to her feet as the human gives her witch mentor a smile.

Black Adam then bursts out of the mountain, letting out a battle cry as he charged towards them with Luz and Eda doing the same.

Meanwhile, Amity and Hunter were both still fighting. The two seeming to be equally matched as they both began to tire.

Amity looks over into the distance to see Willow, Gus & King fighting Kikimora, Darius & Eberwolf.

The three tried their hardest, but unfortunately, their opponents were too powerful for them as they were being overwhelmed.

Amity: Guys!

She yelled out, to which Hunter used this as an opportunity to tackle Amity to the ground.

He then takes hold of the portal key, Amity grabbing his wrist to keep him from taking it.

Hunter: If you really wanna help your friends, then gimme that key!!

He yells in frustration before Amity's white cat palisman, Ghost, comes to life and attacks Hunter, scratching his face.

Hunter yells in pain, allowing Amity to kick the Golden Guard off of her.

Amity then creates a spell circle, which then summons a giant abomination arm, grabbing Hunter and throwing him into the trees.

Amity then gets up, palisman in hand as she runs over to aid her friends.

Kikimora: Not another step!

She said as Darius, in his abomination form, held King, Willow & Gus hostage.

Kikimora: Give us the portal to the human realm or say goodbye to your friends.

She said as Darius gives them a squeeze.

Amity clenched her fists and gritted her teeth, she didn't want to give up the portal and rob Luz the only way of visiting her mother, but she also didn't want the three of them to get hurt.

Kikimora: What shall it be, little Blight?

She asks with a smirk on her face as Amity was conflicted on what to do.

Lilith: Don't give in, Amity!

A transformed Lilith said as she charges in, punching Darius into mush before saving Willow, Gus and King, putting them down safely.

Amity: Lilith?!

Lilith: Hello, Amity. It has been some time since we've last seen one another.

Kikimora: Lilith?! Why are you here!?

Lilith: The entire isles could feel that shockwave, naturally I felt complied to see for myself. Now then, I believe this is the part where you retreat and never return.

She said as electricity surges throughout her body, instilling fear into Kikimora's heart as well as both Darius and Eberwolf.

Darius: Oh dear Titan, no!

He yelled, grabbing hold of Eberwolf and Kikimora before taking off.

Kikimora: What are you doing!?!?

Darius: We are no match for the human nor the Clawthorne sisters!

Kikimora: But our emperor's orders-!

Darius: Are not worth our lives!!

He yelled as they continued their path as far away from the owl house as possible.

Lilith couldn't help but smirk as she flips her hair before looking into the distance upon hearing a powerful shockwave coming from the knee.

Lilith: What is that?

Amity: Luz and Eda are fighting some human in black, he has the same powers as you three!

Lilith: The same powers? Wait, you mean . . . ?

Amity: It must be that Teth-Adam Luz has been talking about! You gotta help them!

Lilith: Don't worry, I will. In the meantime, all of you must remain here. It's not safe.

She says before taking off into the skies.

Meanwhile, at the knee, Luz and Eda hit Adam with a double uppercut, sending him hurtling into a mountain slope as rocks began to fall and crumble.

The animals of the knee began to run away in panic from the battle as Luz and Eda were face to face with the same Slitherbeast Luz had fought a couple months ago.

Luz: Uhh, hey!

She says with a sheepish smile, to which the Slitherbeast sniffs the air before screeching at Luz and running past the two.

Eda: Heh. Think he recognizes you?

Luz: Maybe?

She says before Adam comes back, grabbing them both by the throat.

Black Adam: Never lose focus until your enemy is defeated!!!

He screams in anger and annoyance with the two, taking them into the sky.

Luz and Eda punch him, making him lose his grip on them.

Adam then blasts Eda with lightning, sending her flying back.

Luz: Eda!

She yelled, giving Adam the opportunity to attack, relentlessly punching Luz over and over again until she started getting some small bruises, blood oozing from her nostrils.

Luz retaliates by kicking Adam below the belt, making the former champion yell out in pain.

Luz goes in for a punch only for Adam to block it before hitting her with a headbutt.

This dazed Luz as Adam held his fists together before slamming them onto Luz's head, sending her hurtling into the boiling sea, creating a massive wave of boiling seawater.

Adam is then tackled by a screaming Eda, hitting the man with rapid punches, not giving him any breathing room to fight back.

Eda: Nobody hurts my kid like that!! You hear me!!? You're a dead man!!

She screams before going in for another punch only for Adam to catch it with his hand.

Black Adam: Spare me your pathetic threats.

He says before punching Eda in the face, blood spewing from her mouth.

Meanwhile, Lilith was on her way as she saw Eda fighting Adam in the distance.

Eda tried to fight back, but Adam's combat prowess and experience were too much for her as he grabbed Eda by the head and started kneeing her in the face without mercy.

Lilith's eyes widened upon seeing blood oozing from her sister's mouth and nostrils.

Lilith: Edalyn!!!

She screamed, tackling Adam off of Eda before blasting him in the face with lightning.

Eda: Lily?!

Lilith: I'm here, Edalyn! Are you hurt?!

Eda: Duh! Just look at my face!

She says, pointing at her bloodied, bruise covered.

Lilith: Sorry. I came as soon I could.

She says before Luz, having lost consciousness for little while, bursts out of the boiling sea, flying up to the Clawthorne sisters.

Eda: Luz! You okay?!

Luz: I'm fine! Where's Adam?!

She asked as Adam flies on over to them, stopping at about a dozen yards away.

Black Adam: Another champion!?

Luz: Surprised?

Eda: Looks like the tables are turning, Adam.

Lilith: You're outnumbered. Surrender.

Black Adam: Numbers do not win battles! I do not care if there are a thousand of you!! You will all die by my hands!!!

He screams before charging towards them.

Luz: Rush him!

She yelled as the three charged towards him, Adam managed to punch Luz only for Eda and Lilith to punch him back.

Adam lets out a roar of fury as he attacks our heroes only to get a serious beating from them.

Adam managed to get several good hits in, but the combined assault from Luz, Eda & Lilith was too much as he was being overpowered by them.

The battle continued in the skies to the point where Adam was bleeding and bruised from the beating.

Luz: This is for betraying the wizard and killing his friends! The people who trusted you with this power!

She said as the three continued beating on him, Adam being desperate as he was slowly starting to lose consciousness.

Luz: It's over, Adam!

Black Adam: N-not . . . quite . . . yet . . . Shazam!

He yelled, kicking Luz into Eda and Lilith to gain some distance and flying in the opposite direction.

A lightning bolt hits the three, turning them back to normal as they started falling.

Adam didn't get too far as his vision started getting blurry.

Black Adam: No . . . not now . . . not like this . . .

He says before losing consciousness as he too begins to fall.

Meanwhile, Luz, Eda and Lilith screamed for a bit as they fell before shouting "Shazam!", turning back into their transformed states to stop themselves from falling as hovered in the sky.

Luz: Oh crud! Where did Adam go?!

Lilith: There!

She pointed towards the falling Adam only to be shocked upon seeing Hunter coming in on a metal magic staff, catching Adam.

Eda: What the?! Who the heck is that?!

Luz: The Golden Guard.

Eda: What?! Shouldn't we stop him or something?!

Luz: . . . No, let him go. I think we've all had enough for one day.

She said as they watched Hunter fly away with the unconscious Adam.

After all that, the three of them returned to the owl house, turning back to normal.

Amity: Luz!

Amity said as she ran up to Luz, giving her a big hug.

Amity: Are you okay?! Are you hurt?!

Luz: I'm fine, Amity. Don't worry.

Amity: That man, was it Teth-Adam?

Luz: . . . Yeah.

King: Well, did you beat him?

Luz: Yeah, but then the Golden Guard took him away.

Eda: I still think we should've gone after him.

Luz: Adam was unconscious, he's not a threat to anyone.

Lilith: For now, Luz. He most likely will return when once he's healed.

Eda: And who knows what the Emperor's Coven is going to do with him?!

Luz: I know. But we'll be ready next time.

Eda: You sure about that? It took the three of us to beat him.

Lilith: Perhaps you should search for more champions? The Wizard said there can be a total of seven, including yourself, correct?

Luz: That's right. Me, you two and . . . four more.

She said, looking at Amity, King, Willow and Gus.

King: Wait, you mean us?

Luz: Is there anyone else around? Besides, you guys are the only other people I trust. So what do you say? You guys up for this?

She asks as Amity holds the human's hand.

Amity: Absolutely.

Luz: Thanks Amity, you're an awesome girlfriend.

Amity: And a cotton candy haired goddess. Don't forget that.

Luz: Y-Yeah, that too.

She says with a blush on her cheeks.

King: I'm definitely in! You helped me and now it's my turn to help you, Luz! Plus, I still want that power of yours. But I'll be responsible!

Luz: You better.

She says before taking hold of King's paw.

Willow: Augustus and I are with you, Luz.

Gus: Yeah, we're the Three Amigos!

They said, holding hands with Amity and King as the five of them were in a circle.

Luz: Thanks guys. Now . . . all of you just say the word.

She said as Amity, King, Willow and Gus all look at each other before grinning.

Amity, King, Willow & Gus: Shazam!

They said simultaneously as multiple lightning bolts hit them.

Some time later, Hunter had finally made it back to the Emperor's Castle along with Adam.

Emperor Belos: Hunter! I've been worried sick! And-!

He paused upon seeing his nephew accompanied by an injured Adam.

Emperor Belos: What is this?

Hunter: I'm sorry for disobeying you, uncle. But I wanted to be of use to you! Granted, I didn't get the portal nor the key, but . . .

He says before showing the emperor his glove covered in a blue liquid.

Hunter: The portal key had Titan's blood in it, I managed to squeeze some of it out. This will help with your machine, uncle.

Emperor Belos: Hmmmm. Well done, Hunter. This does not change that what you did was reckless, but . . . you've made up for it. And I thank you, nephew.

He says, patting Hunter on the shoulder before hearing the groans of Adam regaining consciousness.

The imperial guards immediately sprung into action, surrounding Adam as the former champion of Shazam managed to rise to his feet.

Black Adam: You again? I should have killed you . . .

Emperor Belos: Calm yourself, Teth-Adam. Guards, lower your weapons.

He says, to which the guards obeyed, albeit hesitantly.

Black Adam: Why do you lower your defenses before me?

Emperor Belos: To show you that we are not your enemies. In fact, if you are willing, I believe you and I could perhaps . . . form an alliance of sorts?

He says, standing face to face with Adam as the two stared at one another.
