welcome back to rewrite the stars, a completed book by yours truly. this is a formal apology to Bella Thorne.

while she will never read this book, almost 4k people have. you guys (well, those who are still active and have this book in your library) are real people who feel emotions, just as Bella is and does. For a while now I have thought about writing something because of how I portrayed Bella in this book - unhuman. Instead of creating a separate original character who was problematic and flawed, I chose to take Bella Throne and edit her as if she was a character. that was wrong of me.

now, I'm not a fan of Bella's. I've never been. however, she does not deserve to be treated the way she has this past week.

all I can really say is that Bella had the right to take those pictures. Whoopi does not have the right to judge Bella, what she does, or what anyone else that isn't her chooses to do with their body.

I could sit here all day and talk about this generation - which, Whoopi isn't a part of - and how bad bullying can get especially for celebrities and over the internet.

I'm not saying sorry just because I feel bad for Bella. this is a reminder that she is not a character, does not belong to me, and everything you read in this old fic was inaccurate. I've heard she is a sweet person, she tries her best and does not care about standards. that is more than I can say for most people.

I wish Bella has a good comeback/recovery from this incident and doesn't stop letting her light shine.

update, a year later: you should still treat people with kindness.
