Chapter Fifteen
Virgil Sat beside Roman under a tree, staring up at the sky. It was a pretty dark blue, almost black color. Roman turned to face him, causing him to look over. Roman smiled sweetly, cupping Virgil's cheek. Virgil smiled, resting his hand on Roman's as he leaned into his touch. Roman's expression suddenly turned serious as he ran the pad of his thumb over his cheek.
"Wake up, Star," he suddenly said, Virgil furrowing his eyesbrows.
"What? Princey, I am awake," Virgil said, his tone full of confusion. Roman closed his eyes as he shook his head.
"Star, you have to wake up," Roman said, his tone full of sadness.
"Roman, what the hell are you talking about?" Virgil asked. Roman suddenly pulled his hand away, slapping Virgil across the face.
Virgil jumped awake, his cheek stinging. He was tied to a chair, the room being old and dusty, broken pieces of glass and wood on the floor. Virgil's breath quickened as he looked around, the place not being familiar. He then noticed the figure in front of him, his eyes widening.
"T–Thomas?" He whispered, tears of fear filling his eyes. Thomas grinned, squatting in front of Virgil.
"Heya, Virge. Long time no see," Thomas replied, his eyes flashing yellow. Virgil's eyes widened as he realized that he was under Deceit's control. He then heard footsteps from beside him, causing him to quickly look. He saw Deceit, dragging what seemed to be a pair of wings. As Deceit grew closer, he saw that the wings were purple. Virgil's eyes widened as he realized they were his own wings. Deceit smirked as he saw Virgil's fear, him tying the wings together.
"It's been a while since you've seen these, hasn't it Virgil?" He asked as he threw the wings down in front of Virgil. Virgil didn't respond due to fear. Deceit looked at him.
"Can't answer? Or just don't want to?" He asked, Virgil shaking uncontrollably. He smirked, nodding as he said "Alright." Thomas approached Deceit, draping his arms around his neck. Deceit smiled, kissing Thomas sweetly. Thomas returned the kiss, Virgil being full of shock.
"Seriously?!" Virgil suddenly boomed, catching the two by surprise. "You're with HIM?! He doesn't even love you!! He has you under his spell!!" Thomas suddenly frowned, his eyes slowly flashing yellow.
"W–What..?" He asked, his tone full of sadness and confusion. Deceit growled, making Thomas look at him.
"Tommy, don't believe him," he said, his tone being sweet. "That isn't true at all. I love you with all of my heart." Thomas smiled, nodding. Deceit glared at Virgil, approaching him. Virgil struggled to get free before Deceit could reach him, but he couldn't. Deceit pulled a knife out and slashed across Virg's face, causing Virgil to squeak loudly in pain.
"How DARE you tell my Thomas that I don't love him?!" He boomed, Virgil whining in pain as his blood trickled down his face the air stinging it. Deceit glared at him as he walked away. Virgil began to sob, his tears stinging the cut. He felt unprotected. He wanted Roman to come for him. He wanted to hold onto him and be told that everything would be okay.
