Yoongi had known Jin first. Min Yoongi, the genius mechanic, able to build a car from just about any junk.
Can build it better than anyone, and guarantee that that it will be better than all the generic models out there.

He has an inheritance larger than Jungkook will ever earn in his lifetime, that is of course if his parents don't disinherit him, and leave their fortune to his second cousin or something. But he loves cars, he loves dissecting them and then rebuilding them as though they never were anything else.

It is his calling, Yoongi had told him once. What else can he do but to follow where it leads him. Yoongi, who rarely met people unless they were forced upon him, had actually made a friend without prompting.

The second time Jin comes to their garage, Of course, the Ming blue Aston Martin is a sight in itself, but the person that steps out of it is spectacular. Dressed in a navy suit, impeccable hair and easy manner, Jin leaves him speechless. Of course, Jin pays him no mind and spends all of his time with Yoongi, who looks at Jungkook with amused eyes after Jin leaves.

But Seokjin soon comes back to ask Yoongi for a help but it's Jungkook now who initiates a conversation with Seokjin.

'I'm sorry Sir for the inconvenience you faced last week, Yoongi concerned me over it so I'll not be misbehaving anymore'
Jungkook said as he bowed and left not expecting Seokjin for an answer as if Seokjin was going to answer him.

The third time Jin visits, Yoongi is away. Jin slams the car door shut in anger and glares at him as if it is Jungkook's fault.

"Maybe I can help," he offers.

Jin looks at him, an eyebrow raised. "I doubt it."

"Try me."

Jin smirks.

"Do you know what to do about a father who insists that you give up your life and take over his business?"

Jungkook blinks.

"I didn't think so." Jin turns away.

"Do what you want anyway."

Jin laughs humourlessly.

"Fuck you."

He watches Jin drive away, knowing that he would never see him again.

But he does, of course. Because Jin comes for Yoongi, and Jungkook practically lives at the garage.

"He's caught in between," Yoongi tells him once.

"Between what, hyung?"

"The life he could have and the life he should have."

"What will he do?"

Yoongi shrugs.

"Depends what he wants to keep. And what he wants to lose."

Jungkook didn't really understand Yoongi's code language but he nevertheless realised that Seokjin was forced to do something, behind his rude behaviour was a solid reason that he wanted to know, he wanted to help.

Seokjin often visits the garage sometimes hurt with his blood flowing from the particular spot in his hand, his face and Seokjin does absolutely nothing about it and so Jungkook doesn't do anything too if Seokjin isn't affected who is Jungkook to question?

But at that very moment Yoongi came towards him and spoke

'Jungkook go and hand Seokjin some medical treatment that brat is just spilling blood everywhere and doesn't care'
Yoongi said as he rubbed his head and sighed

'Why not you? He surely likes you more'
Jungkook pouted

'Don't get on my nerves don't you want a second chance Kookie?'
Yoongi said looking at Jungkook

'Yes I do'
Jungkook pouted as Yoongi sighed not able to resist Jungkook's cuteness as he patted his head and smiles signalling him to go.

Jungkook smiled as he took the first-aid kit from the staff room and headed towards Seokjin staring at him. Seokjin finally looked up and noticed Jungkook holding the medical kit and rubbed his temple.

'What?'
Seokjin asked

'I- your wound it's bleeding heavily let me treat it'
Jungkook said not meeting Seokjin's eyes

'Listen kid, I don't need-'
Seokjin was cut off when Jungkook looked up at him worriedly with a hint of anger.

'Listen here sir I don't want you to risk your health here, now keep quiet and let me treat your wounds'
Jungkook said ignoring Seokjin's suprised face

'You do know who I am right?'
Seokjin asked as Jungkook started treating his wound making Seokjin a little hiss

'Yes I do, you're Kim Seokjin but you never have introduced yourself to me like that now have you?'
Jungkook asked as he looked and the two shared eye contact

Seokjin didn't go any further and decided to do these talks later as Jungkook was right he didn't introduce himself like that to anyone? Not even Yoongi he wanted to be known as Jin not by his father's given name as he absolutely hated it.

Seokjin was shocked to here someone, a total stranger actually talking to him like that but he smiled someone cared for him even if he didn't know this boy he still cared and Seokjin was thankful.

But no one needs to know that he's happy to keep his rude image

A/N- I hope I'm doing good in explaining that Seokjin isn't exactly rude he keeps up that image to protect himself.
