"it's delicious," youngjae commented as he munched on the pie.

daeun smiled as she sat across him, proud at herself for successfully baking the pie.

"thank you."

"do you bake as a hobby?"

she nodded as she let out a soft 'yes'. "and i was thinking of baking daehyun's favourite cake before his departure."

youngjae hummed as a reply. then, silence took over them.

"where are you going?"

youngjae stopped on his tracks as he heard daeun's voice.

"to the market. do you need anything?"

"oh, no, thank you. be careful on your way!"

"i will, thank you." youngjae gave her a smile and walked out of the apartment, this time not forgetting the 'diary'.

it's been two hours since youngjae left and daeun was chilling inside her room, when she heard the front door unlocked.

'ah, it must be youngjae,' she thought to herself, deciding to ignore him. they're not close anyways.

not long after, she heard knocks on the door.

"it's unlocked," she exclaimed. but there was no respond given.

daeun stayed on her spot for a few moments. it was silent for a while, before she heard the sound of door opening and closing.

she raised an eyebrow. for what did he knock for?

filled with curiosity, she opened the door, noticing a plastic bag filled with numerous ingredients, along with a note on it.

'daehyun likes cheesecake the most,' it wrote.

i'm going to fasten the pace of the story, but i hope the pace is still okay.
