Rooftop diner

Pecky sat on a old crate, staring off into the distance of the rainy sky. She sighed softly and looked down at her phone.

"No call from Marshall...... Yup. They're dating." Pecky said, getting up and began to walk to the roof edge. Looking over the small town. She smiled softly and walked away from the edge, now heading towards the rooftop exit. "I'll let them have fun. Rewind is always a thing."

Just then, her phone vibrated. Pecky quickly took it out while thinking, 'I shouldn't be getting any phone calls! No, no, no!' she looked at the phone and saw Marshall as the caller ID.

She quickly picked up, "Hey Marshall! Why are you calling now? Shouldn't you be hanging out with that guy? You know, from class C-5."

Marshall chuckled softly and replied, "Nah, I much rather hang out with you. Besides, I think being in a relationship would kinda break us apart...... So, wanna hit the diner? I'm near Allison street." Pecky smiled gently and spoke back, "I'll be there, just gotta get off the rooftop."

"Alright, see you then! And please don't trip on your way here."

Pecky chuckled, promised not to trip and hung up.

"I shouldn't have gotten that phone call unless...... I changed the teachers mind..... Great." Pecky muttered as she walked down the stairs to get to the diner.

Marshall waited inside, playing around with one of the plastic straws trying to not be bored. They wiggled the straw gently, smiling slightly.

Pecky ran in with a big smile, "Marshall!" She began, "I saw a dog on my way here, it was so adorable!"

Marshall chuckled at the small girl being overly excited for seeing a dog. Pecky sat next to them and hugged them tightly.

"You seem more happy, and I know a dog wouldn't cause that. Why are you so happy?" Asked Marshall as he let go of the small gal. "Well, because I...." Pecky started, "Because I love you!" She placed her hand on the back of Marshall's neck and pulled them into a passionate kiss. Quickly, she pulled away from the kiss and snapped her fingers, everything quickly fading back to the last known thing.

"You seem more happy, and I know a dog wouldn't cause that. Why are you so happy?" Asked Marshall as he let go of the small gal. "Well, because I...." Pecky started, "Because I made you something and I wanted to give it to you but I haven't finished it yet!" Marshall raised an eyebrow but shrugged it off. "Whatever makes you happy, P." Spoke the brunette kindly.

They both proceeded to order something small.

Marshall looked at the special and sighed, "Damn...." Marshall muttered as they placed the menu down.

"Something wrong?" Pecky asked, her mouth slightly stuffed with a small pastry, a bit of the cream being on the corner of her lip. Marshall chuckled and wiped the bit off with their thumb, causing the gal to blush lightly, "It's just, that we could've gotten a big ass milkshake but we aren't a couple." Marshall told, looking over at the menu.

Pecky thought for a bit and waved over for the waitress to come to them.

"Yes, sweetie?" Asked the waitress, smiling at the small gal. "We'd like to order the special milkshake." Pecky told as she pulled Marshall into a hug and kisses their cheek.

The waitress giggled and nodded, heading to the kitchen area, "One lovers milkshake, table 5!"

Marshall was in awe at what had happened. Pecky wiped Marshall's with a napkin and smiled, "Now, before you say something like 'Why did you do that?' or something like that. I want that milkshake too." Pecky said, wiping the ever living shit out of Marshall's cheek.

"Ow, ow, ow. Okay, okay, stop! Quit wiping, P!" Marshall plead, trying to get away from the wiping. Pecky giggled and stopped, "I'm sorry, Marsh Marsh."

The waitress came back with the milkshake and asked, "How long have you two been together? You two seem so gosh darn close!" Marshall looked over at Pecky for her to respond, in which Pecky did so, "Honestly since we were around 14. It was like seeing an angel." Marshall chuckled at the lie that was so believably to this happy waitress.

"Alrighty, I'll leave you two love birds to it. Enjoy the milkshake." With that, the waitress left happily. Pecky looked over at Marshall and smiled like a child. "You are great with lies, P." Marshall told as he took a sip of the milkshake, soon being joined by Pecky.
