Heaven and Hell
"Lucinda! Show me your Heavenly fire dragon roar!" Makina barked.
Without hesitation, I quickly prepared myself for the magic move. "HEAVEN FIRE DRAGON ROARRR!!!!!!" I bellowed.
A cone of white-ish fire came spiraling out of my mouth and destroyed a countless number of trees.
"Very good, Lucinda. I would say that you are almost done with my training. Just a few more things to teach you. It's hard to believe you're only four years old." I grinned excitedly, brushing my black-fading-to-white hair behind my ear.
"Really? How much more are you going to teach me?" I asked, excited to learn more. Makina though for a minute before replying.
"A technique called 'Dragon Force' and a healing spell." I nodded determinedly. "Lets get started!"
Timeskip
"Lucinda, I'm so proud of you. You've completed my training. So I have some gifts for you," Makina pulled out three folded objects.
"This is an scarf made out of my scales, a hair ribbon made out of my scales and an enchanted belt for your keys." I looked at the scarf, ribbon and belt in awe.
"Thank you Ma! I love them!" I exclaimed as I put them on. I quickly braided my hair and tied it off with my new ribbon.
"Come Lucinda. It's time for sleep." I obediently ran to Makina's side and covered myself with her wing.
"Good night Ma. I love you." With that I drifted off to sleep, not knowing that this would be the last time I saw my mother.
3rd POV
Makina cast a spell on Lucinda to make her stay in a deep sleep. She then addressed the shadows. "Lucky, am I the last one?" A figure stepped out of the shadows.
"Yes Makina. I'll be sending you 400 years into the future along with your little one." Lucky started to chant.
A magic circle appeared under Lucinda and Makina. "Lucky.... Thank you." Then they were sent 400 years into the future.
When Makina opened her eyes, she found herself in the same exact cave. With a sigh, Makina nuzzled Lucinda.
"I love you, Lucinda. Always and forever. But I have to do this, for you." With that, Makina released her spell and started to fade away, a spiral of sparkles entered Lucinda's chest.
Timeskip Lucy's POV
I woke up cold. 'Strange.' I thought. I sat up and looked around. Then it struck me, what was missing. "Makina! Where are you?!" I yelled despite knowing that she wouldn't appear.
I knew it must be July 7th, X777. For hours, I simply cried. Loke eventually summoned himself. "Princess, why are you crying?" Loke asked worriedly.
I couldn't answer him, but I let him draw his own conclusions. "Princess, where is Makina?" At the missing dragon's name I sobbed even harder but managed to sob out some words.
"M-Ma!..*sob*.. Gone....*sob*." Loke immediately understood and pulled me into a hug.
"It's okay, Princess. Don't cry..." Loke continued to whisper sweet nothing's into my ears. Eventually, I fell into a restless sleep.
'Why does everyone leave me?'
