Sometimes events occur that, on the day, feel like they won't change the world. Won't change you, nor your life.

But a ripple starts small, a miniscule drop can turn into a tidal wave.

You can change, and if one person has the strength to change they might influence many... or just one.

That one then repeats the process- affecting many, or just one.

And on and on..

And so life goes on.

The city of New York is massive. Stretching, encompassing over 30 square miles of buildings, streets, parks, rivers, lakes and more. The eight and a half million that live in the city that never sleeps are passionate, energetic, warm, funny, sad, frantic, manic, calm and everything in between.

This is a story about just two of them.

On the same night, two things happen.

Well many other things probably happened too but I want to concentrate on just these two events!

One, made world headlines, caused public outcry and had people crying in the streets.

The second only made news in one household not the neighbourhood and most definitely not the world. This sort of thing was common, too common for my liking, but there is always good and evil in the world we all just need to make sure that in the end........ good wins.
