Chapter 14 Sides
I stand in front of a building my eyes reading the sign over and over. I've been standing in front of the bar for a couple of minutes wondering if I should go in. In a quick second I open the door and head straight for the bar something. I take a seat at the very edge my green eyes staring straight ahead at the chalk board menu. A very familiar blonde stands in front of me her blue eyes lighting up as a grin tugs at her lips.
"You," She whispers pulling out a cup from under neath the counter.
"Me," I say glancing around the bar.
"Are you waiting for somebody?" I hear her ask.
I turn back to glance at her, "no."
She just shakes her head and crosses her arms against her chest. I look down at the bar counter before I look back up at her.
"What can I get you?"
I look back up at the menu my eyes studying for a couple of seconds before I answer her question.
"A burger and a coke." I answer, "please."
"Coming right up..." She pauses and I look at her.
"Elias," I reply my eyes not breaking contact.
She smiles again.
"Coming right up Elias." She disappears into the kitchen.
After a couple of minutes she comes back. She sets my coke to the right of me and I give her a small smile and a thank you.
"Elias," Cami whispers, "that's a pretty name. What is it?"
"It's Greek." I simply say, "My moms choice."
"It's beautiful, you're mom had very good taste."
"She did," I whisper to her.
"Are you new?" She questions.
"Yeah, I just moved her a couple of weeks ago." I state taking a sip of my drink.
She smiles again and I can tell she wants to know where I came from. I smile to myself as I continue to watch her movements.
"I came from France actually." I tell her.
"France?" She ask surprised.
"France," I whisper, "I know... why don't I have an accent."
"No..." Cami shyly replies, "okay maybe a little."
I stare at her before the door to the bar opens. I look over my shoulder to see Marcel and a couple of his guys. I look away not wanting to start trouble. Cami makes her way into the back of the restaurant and I can feel Marcel and his guys getting closer to me. Cami slides me my food before going on her way to help other costumers. A two figures sit next to me, one on the right and the other on my left.
I turn my head to the right to see a guy smiling at me a cold gaze in his eyes. I look to the left of me, dark brown eyes on me a smile on his face. Marcel!
"Elias," his voice is cool and calm.
I take a sip of my drink before speaking.
"Marcel," I voice turning back to look at him. "Coming to start a fight?"
He lets out a rich chuckle. "Actually I'm coming to finish one. After all we never really got to finish that fight."
I push my cup to the side. " Are you sure?"
"Cocky," Marcel laughs patting me on the shoulder.
My face grows cold as I lean into the bar my head tilting to the side as I continue to look at him. Does he really want to start something? I slowly move back in my stool and grab money out of my pocket and set it on the table. I slip out of my seat, Marcel and his guy getting up with me. I roll my eyes as I get sandwiched by both of them.
"You really don't want to do this!" I tell him giving him a slight warning.
"Oh, but I kind of do." Marcel begins, "You see you tried to kill me, I just want to know why. Since I've never done a thing to you."
I shake my head at him, standing tall my arms at my side. I close my hands into a tight fist getting ready for anything that might break out. I take in a deep breath and let it out slowly. He really has no idea what he's getting into, what's his vampire group is getting into. I've fought bigger groups then this by myself, I'm pretty sure I can defeat his group no problem.
"How do you know the Mikaelsons's?" Marcel questions his brown eyes looking at me with fire.
I suck in the dry air that fills the musky bar. I narrow my eyes at him as I purse my lips together. Marcel stands straight crossing his arms against his chest as he waits for his answers. I don't have to answer his question but I do.
"For awhile." I bluntly whisper in annoyance.
"How long is awhile?" Marcel continues with the questions. "I'm sorry for being so nosey, I just really like knowing who's walking my streets and who socialises with who. Especially when it comes to the Mikaelsons's."
"Since the French Revolution." I icily reply not holding back the anger anymore.
Marcel chuckles again, "so you're an oldie then?"
I glare at him, "I guess so."
"What did they do to you?" Marcel ask with a grin, "let me guess... Rebekah broke you're heart?"
I let out a low growl, "no, Klaus had my family murdered."
Marcel runs his fingers under his chin his eyes studying me with everything he has.
"Why?" I close my eyes at his question.
"Because of my father." I speak, finally realising why Klaus had my family killed.
Flashback
"Dad," I whisper placing a hard knock on his office door.
I open the door my eyes finding my dad turned around a book in his hand as he stares out the large window that sits in front of him. He turns around at the sound of my footsteps. I close the door with a thud before standing still in front of his desk.
"Elias," he whispers softly.
"You needed me." I state my green eyes following his every move.
"Yes," he finally says with a movement of his hand, "please sit we have a lot to talk about."
"Is everything okay?" I ask staying as calm as possible.
"Everything is fine, our plot against the Mikaelsons's is beginning and I need you on my side more then ever. I need a wolf at my side."
"What do you need me to do?" I challenge taking a seat.
"I need you to distract Rebekah and Elijah when they get back tomorrow night. I would say Klaus as will but I know that you to don't get along so will because of Rebekah." He tells.
Guilt begins to take over as I begin to realise what he's asking of me. He stays quiet for a moment as he eyes me.
"Elias I need you on my side. The brotherhood needs you on our side, we can't have you're feelings getting in the way." He barks, as he bends over his desk, his hands placed firmly apart.
I give a brief nod before answering quickly. "Of course."
"Good we need them to think were on their team, everything needs to be planned out perfect for us to succeed." He begins, "And we will..."
"How do you know?" I question easing from my seat.
"Because I have my son at my side... nothing can go wrong." His tone is sweet and stern.
