The sun was high above the Mountains of mobius, the sound of birds chirping and just flying away when the sudden gust of dirt and grass blades were sent flying from underneath the souls of the Mobian's shoes as he was just speeding down the path that lead into the large forest.

His laughter just filled the air as he ran, with the wind blowing through his quills...his ears only twitched at the sound of skates, coming up to be side him...looking over to his side he saw the Non-Mobian keeping up with his certain pace, not that he minded...he was just so over joyed that he got to run along side someone that can keep up with his speed.

With an inviting smile on his muzzle, as the bolts on his neck started to give off some sparks reacting to his natural electric, that his body now produces thanks to him being struck by lightning, to help revive him. He only boosts himself to go even faster...leaving behind of blue trail right behind him.

Shadow only had a slight grin on his own muzzle as he only boosts himself as well, leaving behind a golden trail.

As the two speedsters ran through the thick forest, both of them failed to notice the welcome sign to a small village...that was home to mobians at a time, though the Mobian was first to notice the familiar tree house structure that were in the trees...he only slowed down his pace as his happy expression faded and was replaced with that of sadness.

He recognized this place, as being his home town, when the first war broke out on the mobius, turning innocent mobians into robot slaves.

Shadow had noticed that his lover had started to slow down...thus causing him to do the same, he just kept a close eye on the Mobian, though he was following the other male's gaze at the ghost town. He remembered this place being home to one the fighting groups, that his lover used to lead along side the Princess of Mobius.

Sonic had came to a complete stop when he saw the workshop that belonged to his Uncle, a long with his house...the place looked deserted and was completely over ran by the vines that were growing from the thick trees.

"Are you okay my Love?" Shadow asked the Mobian when he had walked over.

Sonic only walked up to the door of his house and just forced himself inside. Shadow only followed right behind him.

"T-This was the home that my parents and Uncle lived in" Sonic said as he pulled his pulled on broken picture frame with a picture of three grown blue hedgehogs with Sonic, and Miles standing beside them.

Shadow made his way over to the blue hedgehog to see the photo, he can see the resemblance with his lover and his family.

Sonic only opens the back of the picture frame, to pull the photo out of it...after just placing the broken frame back where he found it he pockets the photo for safe keeping, Since had been in captivity and saving the world from Eggman, he hardly had the time to visit his family, and check in on them, as a result he always felt guilty. And now he didn't even have the chance to say goodbye, to them or even apologize for being a terrible son for not visiting them.

"I'm sure they are proud you even if you couldn't make time for them." Shadow said to comfort Sonic, by placing his hand on the shorter males shoulder.

Sonic's ear perked up when heard that, a soft breath of relief escapes his lips. "Well since we are here, I can show you something that is rather visit!" The mobian said as he took a hold of Shadow's hand leading him out his family home back onto the dirt streets of the village in the forest.

Shadow kept up with Sonic's pace as he just looked around the at his surroundings...he hadn't really took the time to stop and admire the beauty that Mobius had to offer, even if that natural beauty was tainted by the pollution of the humans and mobians, wanting to expand on their own resources.

"Here we are!"

Shadow shifted his attention back to his lover, before his crimson eyes widen at the sight.

It was a beautiful clearing with a waterfall and shallow lake, flowers covered the lush green grass and in the center of all that was a large dogwood tree that was fully bloomed with beautiful white flowers.

"I use to came here all the time, after a battle to take a relaxing nap...or just to feed to fishes, tho if I'm lucky I get see some Chao." Sonic admits as he lets go of Shadow's hand to sit down underneath the shade of the tree.

Shadow sat down right next to Sonic, the soft breeze just blowing through their quills as the sound of the waterfall was heard.

"I've been meaning to ask you...How did you be come King of the Non-Mobians?" Sonic asked as he shifted his attention towards Shadow.

"Well it wasn't by choice...but after Maria sent me down to Mobius, from the ARK...I landed in the middle of ocean, only to be found by the Mermobians, at first I didn't anything about Non-Mobian, since at the time I didn't know what My DNA was, Gerald had always said that I was a hundred percent Mobian." Shadow explained as he just lets out a soft sigh. "Over Time, I started show signs that the Elder of The Mermobians were say as Incredible Strengths that not even a Non-Mobian can compare, Little did I know that the DNA samples that Gerald used to create me had the extra chromosome that caused mutations, as well as give me Royal Blood."

"Royal Blood?" Sonic asked tilting his head to the side.

"Mhm, My Blood is a Deep Purple color, different from both Mobians and Non-Mobians, as well as Black Arm Aliens, who have green blood." Shadow explained. "Non-Mobians find a King or Queen to rule them base on their blood...and Since I had arrived their hadn't been such a ruler until I arrived."

Sonic only leans into the Non-Mobian resting his head onto the other's shoulder. "You'd Made for a good King."

Shadow only plants a kiss onto the Mobian's forehead. "And you make for an excellent Leader, and I'm glad to have you in my life."
