Slight issues
Meliodas laid in his bed covered in bandages in wounds that weren't healing as fats as his led wounds usually heal. Ban dropped another drop of his immortal blood on his lips but, only two wounds out of the millions healed again. Merlin sighed looking over at her friends from her desk.
"Ban stop. If it doesn't work the first time, it won't work at all." Merlin sighed walking over and looking at their captain. She focused in his eyes which were closed but, one had a large cut right above I still leaving a stain of red blood on his left eye. Meanwhile all Ban could focus on was the cuts on his wrist from where rocks had embedded themselves into his skin. Well...except where faded slits were from what he assumed was years ago.
"I don't understand..I saved king when he almost died with my blood. Why isn't this working?" Ban Ask grumpily.
"Ban, He was attacked by goddess creations whom made the fountain of youth with the goddesses. If they did anything to him, it is most likely immune to the water from the fountain of youth." She admitted. "It's a wonder it's even healed more than two cuts on his body."
Then there was a knock on the door. Think it was Escanor, Merlin told whoever was on the other side to open. Yet, Zeldris stood there before walking towards his brother. Ban stood back but, had to fight ever urge in his body to fight him or hit him. Zeldris just ignored them before pushing some hair out of his brother face. Merlin noticed him seeing to cringe as he saw the cut above his left eyes.
"Is anything working?" He asks slowly turning around looking at Merlin.
"Nothing that I know if..I've never seen him like this. Every time he gets hurt this bad he gets back up again but, this time it's like he's just given up. It's like he doesn't want to get back up." She admitted looking at the figure on the bed. She then sighed packing to head back to Camelot. Aruthur needed her and Escanor's help with a new kingdom to make peace with Camelot this week. If only she had enough time, then she could stay longer than help.
Zeldris just stayed silent looking at his brother. His mind seemed to space out as he watched him.
"Look if you're not gonna he'll you should just lea-" Ban was cut off.
"I have." Zeldris admitted. The room fell silent.
"What?"
"During the end of the holy war...during the last battle, Meliodas had a lover whom was a goddess." Zeldris admitted anger crossing his face at the thought of it.
"What happened to her?" Ban asks suddenly.
"Well, she was a goddess so she did what they do best, she betrayed him. I mean I truly believe she loved him at one point but, I think something happened. It justcame go ahead when fighting against our father and her mother, the superior deity. I walked in when watching father hit Meliodas...he did it a lot when we were kids but.....well I just snapped and fought beside him. Estarossa did the same and other goddesses helped us along side his lover. S-"
"Did you say supreme deity?" Ban asks suddenly. He knew this story. Everyone did.
"Yeah I did....we actually ended up killing her in the fight and my father agreed to leave them alone. I'd never seen Meliodas so happy as when he hugged his lover. She was just as happy...then a few days later the goddesses met to vote for a new leader....it was bounced it was Aphrodite the same time we were attacked by these...these things!"
"You mean the oracles?"
"Yes. They had just been leave keepers before. They hardly fought unless they had to. Yet, they seemed like they were in a trance and killed millions of us. Then the goddess showed up in the same state. It was a full blown massacre when Meliodas left my sight...just for a few minutes...when he came back into my sight...well his lover had tried to kill me with a sword...he got in the way and she ran him through with a sword to trap demon souls...we got sealed away when that happened...then I was informed he was cursed by my father but...well I didn't see him until the seal was gone two years ago....by then it was burned into my head he was a traitor." He admitted looking at his brother. The image of his brother with a sword inpailed in his arm keeping him stuck to the ground popped up into his head. His fist clenched in anger as he fought the urge to let out an angry scream.
"Well who saved him?" Ban asks suddenly.
"What?" Zeldris looked up at him.
"Who saved him. If they saved them then surely they must have notes on how to save him somewhere."
"Well there were rumours that it was a child of Aphrodite's."
"Perfect we can go look for-"
"Ban there is no evidence she existed anywhere until after we were sealed away....and she's kinda dead now."
"Oh...okay then slight problem."
