Dictionary meaning of slut :-
Slut : People sometimes refer to a woman as a slut when they consider her to be very immoral in her sexual behaviour.

While I was reading many Wattpad novels, I came across this thing and I felt that it needed to be highlighted. In many Wattpad novels I have seen that the girl who wears short dresses or talks to guys is shown as character loose. Or it is shown that it is justified to eve tease such a girl. When I read this, it enrages me a lot. Who has given Wattpad authors the right to slut shame any girl? What if they are in their place?

In real life if we see a girl talking to guys we start judging her character. Many of us are like, "Oh! How many guys she is playing with?" or "She is so immoral." or "Parents don't control her. That is why she is going out of hand." When a boy talks to many girls or has affairs with them, his friends look up to him and say, "You are a stud dude." Being a player is seen as a thing to be proud but if a girl even has many male friends then she is termed as a slut.

Second example is when a girl wears a Western dress. Especially midis or shorts. I will give you my own example. In my tuitions, I used to wear jeans, midis, shorts and skirts. One fine day, the typist employed there asked me to talk to her in alone. I agreed and then she lectured me about how my dress is arousing guys and I am gaining unwanted attention. I later complained it to my teacher who reprimanded her and supported me. Wearing a jeans in many parts of society is considered being westernised and forgetting our so called Indian Sanskars. Wearing a sari in which your midrib is exposed is totally fine but wearing a jeans top in which you are fully covered is not fine.

For those who think that I am promoting female chauvinism, I am not promoting it. I don't encourage having many affairs and relations with the opposite gender. It is equally wrong, whether it is a male or a female. Please stop judging a girl or woman by the number of guys she talks to or the dress she wears. It is not right.
