For once we forget the boundaries
That foster the enmity
The venom that craves for others blood
Leading us all nowhere
For once let's think about humanity

For once let us all transcend the barriers of gender
That treats one as the subordinate of the other
The webs and chains of orthodox beliefs
Which have chained women for centuries
For once let's think about humanity

For a while let's move on from religion
On the name of which seeds of hatred are sown
Spreading like an infectious virus
Clouding our sense of rationality
For once let's think about humanity

For once let's control our selfish needs
Because of which environment grieves
The unscrupulous use of nature's gifts
Which deteriorates the quality of life
For once let's hear the earth's cry

For once we break the lines of races
On the basis of which we vanquish
The fertile land of love and emotions
Let us all see just the soul and not colour
For once let's think about humanity with fervour

The demons inside all of us dominate
Massacring every possible good side
Instilling a sense of unnerved fear
But a ray of sunshine will come
In this dreary cold night
The light diminishing the darkness of evils
Only we can be the rays of change
Let's be together for humanity
