A: Anuoluwapo Itunu Olumoroti.

Q: Nickname/pen name/pseudonym.

A: Nickname is Moanaronnie.
This is because I watched Moana more that five times when it first came out and I literally was always dressing like her everywhere I went, even to school.

Pen name: Moroti_Writes
Settles with that using a part of my surname and writes since I love writing.

Q: Age/ Birthdate.

A: 17th of April.

Q: Nationality and state of Origin.

A: Nigerian. Ekiti state.

Q: Where do you stay?

A: Lagos Nigeria.

Q: When did you start writing in general? 

A: Actually 2013. But I started  to write on Wattpad  in 2016.

Q: Okayyy. Why do you write?

A: Hmm well, let me start by saying I am just simple West African girl with a hell of a creative mind. And  an over active imagination.

And I write because I want to bring my imagination to life. I write because I want to give people hope that there is light at the end of every tunnel. More importantly, I want to give people hope that no matter how dull or insignificant their star might be, they can rewrite it and have a star that shines brighter than ever. I write because I want to be the boat that people can travel in and not  have to move their feet, or move from a spot. Finally, I write because I know no other way to express myself and to connect to people on a deeper level.

Q: Next question: How many books have you published?

A: 6 in number.

Q: Okayy.  What's Your first ever story?

A: My Uwana. Meaning my shining light.

Q: Ohh nice. What's it about?

A: Okay it’s basically about cyber bullying.

A young Tanzanian girl named Uwana was a princess of her town. But it was somehow destroyed by Technology Which was introduced by are uncle. At the end she and her mother was forced to leave her home  to a new county where technology and cyberbullying is the other of the day.

Q: Your favorite story out of all the stories you've written.

A: Omo this one is going to be hard ooo. It’s between A twin With a Difference and Just Another Valentine. I can’t decide, these two are my favorite.

Q:  Okay. Understandable🌚 Next question: Your books - what inspired them?

A: Well, most of my books are centered on bullying and cyber bullying due to the background of the main character and sometimes, it’s centered on the struggle of every teenager.

Q:  Hmmmm...okay. Next question: Your favorite character in any of your books and which of them do you love the most? Who can you relate with most?

A: Omo this is deep dear. Very hard to decide.

C: Even if it's all your characters, you can tell us🌚

C: My favorite character is  Emmanuella  because she knows where she belongs and knows how to play by the rules. She is the main character of Just Another Valentine.

The one I love most, omo lol, I love all the main characters of A Twin With a Difference. They are all a part of me in some  way. And all the main characters of Just  another valentine. They remind me of the love I never had when I was their age.

Q: Okayy. Niceee.  What inspires you to write? 

C: Hmmmm another deep question.

C: 💆🏾‍♀️🌚

A: For starters, I wasn’t your regular kind of teenager that loves the outdoors so much. I was very paranoid, still am, thanks to the unsafe country I call home. But  When I discovered my talent for writing I never stopped because writing is where my heart is.

I found it as my tranquillity, a place I can come to be who I truly am, an escape route from my very boring and uneventful reality.

What really inspires me to write is because I want to create and then open a whole new world where old and young can find comfort and serenity in a world different from their reality.

C: Deep Answer.

Q:  What do you hope to achieve through your writing?

A: Well I hope to make people realize that a pen is Indeed mightier than the sword.

And I  also hope to make people realize that the world we live in is a very Small world. And the only way to make it bigger is by writing, writing a new world where we can see things though another eyes.

More importantly, if you can’t achieve it yet then turn it into a story and write it. By so doing you have taken a step into making it your reality.

Q:  Nice. 🙌🏽 Do you have any favorite Writers on wattpad and non-wattpad writers? Why'd you like them?

A: Yes. I do

For wattpad it’s Iyanuoluwa Temi and Donald prince.  And I'm looking forward to the day they'd  actually do a collaboration. I will definitely read it, two outstanding writers like that 🥺🥺🥺🥺

I would have said lovetori, I think that's her username. But I haven’t had time to read her books. I heard it's good  though, so maybe I’ll find time to check it out.

Now for non wattpad books, it’s  Harley Quinn’s Romance book for me. C'mon, who doesn’t love a good romance book?

C: Okay nice. Donald and Iyanu-Temi are amazing writers! Tori is really good!!!!

Q: Next: Any favorite wattpad books and non-wattpad books?

A: Umm yes.

Non wattpad book is faultys in our stars and last days at forcardos high.

Wattpad books ; all the books written by Iyanuoluwa Temi, Donald prince and lovetori . Then Gallery of a broke heart by Ortsejolomi_,   Beautiful Swindler by Chinedu Egwuji  and The other side of eves apple by Jenvialwrites.

Q: Okayyy...nice. How do you cope with writer's block?

A: Lol 😂 I don’t. I write when the inspiration comes and if it doesn’t come, I don’t force it unless I have a deadline to meet and there is money involved. 💀💀💀💀 But seriously speaking, I rarely have writer's block because before I start a story, I have already planned the beginning, the middle and the end, how I want each chapter to go. So if at all I have writer's block, it will be out of laziness  or lack of motivation  and I can always come out of it. If the writer's block is proving difficult then I take a break I don’t usually force myself to write, it usually just flows.

Q: Where do/did you school and what course are/did you currently studying/study?

A: 20: schooled in the University of Lagos, department of mass communication.

Q: If you had the power to change one thing about the world right now, what would it be?

A: Omo bribery and corruption and make someone like Daddy GO President of Nigeria. Frankly speaking, we need one urgently. A Christian President that can not just be killed off and isn’t too afraid to do the will of God for Nigeria cus Omo. This Nigeria don tire me .

Q: Favorite color.

A: Well, I won’t tell you but when you read my ongoing  book,  a twin With a Difference, the main color of the twins' hair is my favorite color. Hehehe oh and while you are at it, remember to vote and comment. Gracias Muchacho

Q: How would you describe your personality?

A: See to get my personality ehhh, you need to read one of my books.  To all the boys I have ever loved. And yes it’s a fan fiction before you attack me. It’s completed but unedited, but still read that book to get to know my personality e get why and while you are at it, remember to vote and comment. Gracias Muchacho.

Q: What do you have to say to upcoming writers out there?

A: Life is like a blank page, you’ve got the Penname. Be who you are, rewrite your reality then sit back and watch God Bring some of your writings to life. My point is, when you are finally blessed with the power to write, grab it tight and don’t let it go. This is because not everyone one is a Walking Author but you are one so don’t you ever let it slide. And please before you start you writing Journey, have a mentor that will teach you and guide you through this thing. No go dey write rubbish for wattpad or dey Plagiarize another person book on top say you sef  wan write, E get why. I don talk my own finish for the matter.
