My name is Alexander Thawne, and I am the fastest man alive. When I was a child my father was killed by the Flash, but I took his legacy. And now, with the help of my new powers, I run from a place to another, planning my next move. Flashback

Alexander: *raises cowl and opens his hand, making Eobard's hologram appear* "Dad, I had my first fight with the Flash and I won."

Eobard: "Good, my son. Together we will make him pay for everything he's done to our family!"

Alexander: "What's the next step?"

Eobard: "Now you must be trained in order to get your revenge..."

Alexander: "I'm ready."

Eobard: "...but first you need to find a stable place to stay."

Alexander: "Where?"

Eobard: "That's your first task: if you find a place to stay where you can provide for all your necessities, you'll show me that you're truly ready."

Alexander: (it makes sense: I must find a way to live and survive on my own now) "I will do it, dad."

Eobard: "Good boy."

Flashback ends

Since then I kept runnin' from a place to another, in search of the perfect hideout...but it was really hard: I had to find a place nobody would have searched for, near a place where I could get enough food to keep using my powers, far but not too far from S.T.A.R. Labs or U.A.: I had my plans for U.A....

During my travels I couldn't stop thinking about Nora...how was she holding up? Did she move on from my desappearence? I arrived at the point that I couldn't wait any longer to at least see her from afar, so I thought that one more travel could not be so...negative...so I went near the Labs and I noticed her getting out

(Is that...makeup? Who is she going out with? Better if I follow her to be sure everything's ok...)

It took an eternity for her to get to her destination without her speed, but eventually she arrived in front of a house...Midoriya's house.

(Well, I guess everything's truly alright...it must be a hang out)

I saw her all tensed up

(It's a hang out, right?)

When Midoriya opened the door, they started talking and both of them were blushing at eachother

(Oh, I get it...it's a date...well I'm happy she's moving forward)

I decided to keep an eye on them, just in case some villain attack happened...only for protection, yeah...

I watched as those two were talking and laughing together

(They must have made their bond grow in these 4 months...it's only natural)

Then I saw her stop and cry

(What did you do Midoriya?! If you hurt her I...)

Then I saw how he comforted her and hugged her

(Nice job, Midoriya, but why were you crying, Nora?)

I kept asking me that question

(She must hate me, how could she cry and care for me now? No...it must be something else...but what?)

While I was asking myself this, I noticed that they started walking again, and finally they arrived at their destination...the cinema. Then I saw Nora run inside at super-speed, leaving Midoriya outside

(She must've raced him, and of course he lost even before starting. Well, I imagine I'll have to just wait here, uhmm...might as well take something to eat)

I searched and found a nice place...Big Belly Burger. I retracted my suit inside the ring and went inside, then I ordered 10 cheeseburgers with 4 maxi portions of fries and a maxi cola. Don't judge me: I need a lot of calories. I naturally told the cashier that all of that was for my friends at home and fortunately, before running away from my family, I took a few money from Barry's wallet. After they gave me everything I went on a rooftop and ate my dinner.

After an hour and half Nora and Midoriya got out of the cinema and started walking in the same direction they came from, so I continued to follow them.

(It seems they're really happy...why am I both happy and sad for that?)

I kept following them until they reached Midoriya's place, and then I saw

(Why, all of a sudden, is Midoriya so tensed and embarassed?)

Alexander: *slightly hears from Midoriya* "...like you!" *shocked* (he likes her...it's not a surprise but I'm shocked that he said it so bold. But...what does she feel for him? Damn it I can't hear a thing!)

While I was thinking all of this I saw her taking his hand

(S-She feels the same...)

As they were hugging and holding hands I couldn't help but feel like the world was shattering, the ground beneath me was cracking open and I felt like I was falling into the deepest of all the darkness...

(Why am I so surprised? It was clear...it's not like we've ever been a thing, and I'm sure she never felt for me what I feel for her. Why do I have to feel like this? Why must I suffer like this?!...But I'm not mad at her: she's moving on and is creating a life of her own)

Alexander: *sees with sadness* "I'm really happy for you, Nora."

Tears flew across my face while I was running away. I stopped at an old mansion, where I decided to settle permanently: it was the perfect spot. I pressed the lightning on my ring and weared the suit, then I opened my hand to speak with my father.

Alexander: *still with tears* "Dad, I found a place, we can start."

Eobard: "Why those tears?"

Alexander: "I-It's nothing..."

Eobard: "You can tell me, you know?"

Alexander: "You'll think I'm naive and stupid..."

Eobard: "No, I won't, tell me."

Alexander: "...The girl I love has feelings for my best friend."

Eobard: "I'm sorry, Alexander, I truly am."

Alexander: "Yeah, I mean...it's not like we've ever been a thing, but it still hurts..."

Eobard: "I know. But this can be a lesson: don't let your feelings stop you from achieving greatness. I loved your mother, but I never let those feelings get in my way. You should do the same."

Alexander: "But...how?"

Eobard: "That's your first lesson: you will run into the negative speedforce."

Alexander: "Wait why?"

Eobard: "It's what gives you power, what gives US power, but in your case...even more."

Alexander: "Why am I so special?"

Eobard: "Being my son grants you an incredible connection with the negative speedforce, which was created by me by the way, so if you run inside of it, you'll become an unstoppable force of nature, and you'll unlock your full potential."

Alexander: "And...I won't suffer anymore...right?"

Eobard: "I can guarantee."

(A/N imagine Nora is Alexander and Eobard is just a voice in his comm)

Alexander: "Dad can you hear me? I did exactly what you told me, why I can't do that?!"

Eobard: "You're too pure...you don't feel hate...the Allens did a good job with you..."

Alexander: "What do you mean 'you don't feel hate'? I hate them for what they've done to me!"

Eobard: "No: you're hurt, but you don't hate them. I'm sorry son, but I can't teach you..."

Alexander: "What? No! Please I'll do anything, just don't leave me!"

Eobard: "I won't leave you, but nor I will teach you: you're not ready."

Nora: "A-Alex?"

Alexander: "N-Nora?!"

Nora: "Finally I found you! Please, come back home with me, we'll settle everything together, just come with me!"

Alexander: "...No."

Nora: "Why...?"

Alexander: "You know why."

Nora: "...Yes, I know...I'm not good enough for you, am I?"

Alexander: *shocked*

Nora: "For all these months I tried to reach you, we were inseparable...but it isn't enough, is it? Why...why are you doing this to us...*tearing* Why are you doing this to me?! WHY DO YOU HATE ME SO MUCH??!!"

For the first time I felt...angry, really angry, more than any other time in all my life. I felt...hate...surging and rising...

Alexander: "...H-Hate you....Hate you?! I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU, YOU IDIOT!!!"

Nora: *shocked* "W-What?"

...slowly increasing...

Alexander: "I loved you my whole life...I thought that if I waited...then I would've seen a few signs from you...*tearing* but those signs never came...then I discovered that you lied to me...FOR FIFTEEN YEARS!!!"

Nora: "I-I feel the sam-"

...thriving and elevating...

Alexander: "BUL****T! I SAW YOU AND MIDORIYA HOLDING HANDS!!!"

Nora: "Alex, it's not what you think!"

...and finally...

Alexander: "I don't believe you...you were my world...YOU WERE EVERYTHING TO ME!!! WHY DO YOU HATE ME SO MUCH??!! HOW COULD YOU STOP LOVING ME???!!!!"

(A/N start watching from 2:20, Nora is Alexander and Iris is Nora, there's no Eobard. What Alexander sees in the negative speedforce is everything bad that happened to him, everyone who he loved, but lied to him, and finally he sees Nora with Midoriya)

Eobard: "Now, my son...now you're ready."
